Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G Unboxing(India) - Snapdragon 865 Variant!

Hey guys this more dict here and today, I have a very exclusive unboxing for you. So, as you are know, Samsung announced three phones recently, the s20, the S 20 plus and the s 20 Alta. So today, I'm going to unbox the galaxy s 20 ultra, and this is not the Indian variant that you're going to get very soon. This is the international variant which supports Phi G, and it runs on Qualcomm, Snapdragon 865, so Samsung actually has made two variants. There is the Enos variant that you're going to get in India, which is gonna, be on 4G, and then you have the international variant which is on 5g and has the snapdragon 865. So the s20 ultra seals are gonna, start in India very, very soon it's not being sold in India, yet plus you're.

Never going to get this variant in India. So this is actually one of the first unboxing of the galaxy s 20 ultra in India, so without wasting any more time, let's get started. But if you guys are watching my channel for the first time, you know what to do. Please press the red subscribe button and press the bell like and so that you are notified every time, I upload a new video. On that note, let me get started with the unboxing of this phone.

First, let's take a look at the box of the galaxy s 20 ultra and, as you can see, the phone comes in a very simple box that you've seen with any other Samsung phone. You've got s 20, ultra 5 Z written on the front. You've got some s xx, branding on the sides and on the back you have the packaging contents written and some other information about the phone inside the box. The first thing that you get is the phone itself and, as you can see, the S 20 ultra is a really massive phone. I got it in the gray shade and on the back, you can see that the camera bump is massive.

It comes out from the back of the phone by quite a big margin, and it's also pretty big too. You've got that really beefy hundred and eight megapixel sensor there, and even if I talk about my first impressions of the phone, it's pretty massive and heavy, but anyways I'm going to keep it to the side. For now, we will come back to it later on. As of now. Let's just look at everything else that we have inside so but from the galaxy s xx, you've got a power adapter, which is a 45 watt adapter.

So the thing is Samsung is giving you 45 watt adapter with the s20 ultra and I, think the s 20 and s 20 plus get the 25 watt adapter now I, don't know if the Indian eggs knows variant, we'll also get the 45 watt adapter or not, but I had it in the Snapdragon variant, and this supports type C. So after that you've got type 0 type, C cable to charge the phone. You don't get at normal, USB, type-c, cable, it's at type, C to type C cable. So you cannot connect it to your computer or laptop unless your laptop has a type C port and after that you've got a pair of earphones. So because Samsung started removing the headphone jack since the Galaxy Note 10.1, a pair of type C or phones from AKG Samsung has a tie-up with AKG. So these are actually perfect quality of phones, but unfortunately, Samsung does not include any kind of type C to headphone jack adapter.

You have to buy that separately and I think it comes for 800 or 900 rupees. It would have been great to just give it for free inside the box, because this phone is very expensive. To start with. There is like a small piece of cardboard on the upper side of the box inside that you have your sim ejector tool, and if you open it, you will get a bunch of paperwork normally in the Indian variant. You also get a CPU case, but the U.

S. variants don't have a CPU case with the galaxy s 20 ultra. So basically that's everything that you get inside the box of the galaxy s 20 ultra. Now, let's throw everything to the side and come to the s20 ultra. So yours, the best flagship phone that Samsung has made in 2020 the galaxy s, 20, L drop and first let me talk about the specifications of this one.

Like I said, there are two kinds of variants for this phone. The Indian variant is 4G and gets the Enos 990 chip, but the U. S. variant and the international variants actually have the Phi G variant, which have the Qualcomm snapdragon 865. Now normally, both of these chips are very similar.

Both of them are on a 7 nanometer, + architecture and all of those things, but there are two major differences. First, the Snapdragon chips are definitely better optimized when it comes to the battery life, and it becomes all the more important when you have a high refresh rate display and a high resolution display on a phone like this. After that, the other thing is that the Snapdragon variants also actually perform better when it comes to pop G. Enos variants are not that great in terms of gaming performance Snapdragon is better because you've got the Arena GPU and there's one more thing which is G cam support. Unfortunately, none of the Enos models support google camera properly, so the Snapdragon variants once again beat them when it comes to the camera performance.

But basically my variant has the snapdragon 865 and apart from that, you've got 12 GB of RAM, there's literally more RAM on this phone than my laptop, and then you also have 128 GB of storage. There are other variants where you get 256, GB of storage and all of that, but my variant has 128 and there is a hybrid SIM slot. So in case you want to increase the storage, you can always throw in a memory card. Yeah, you've got the best chipset on any phone that you can get on the s20 ultra and what I really like this time is that Samsung has given you five thousand William hours of battery, and that is one of the reasons why the s20 ultra is so massive, but I'm really happy that Samsung has given you five thousand William hours of battery with 45 watt fast charging, because this phone is gonna. Need that, because when we talk about that display, Samsung has made a couple of changes here.

First, it's a really huge 120 Hertz display it's a Super AMOLED panel and the size is six point: nine inches nice, but here's the catch, although it is a 1440p display, you can not use 120 Hertz at 1440p. If you want to use the display at 120 Hertz, you have to go down to 1080p, and you can only use up to 60 Hertz on 1440p. Now I did notice that there was an update or there is an internal testing going on where Samson might release an update later on, wherein you can use 2k at 120 Hertz. But as of now, it's capped at 60 oats. If you want 120 Hertz go to 1080p and if you want 2 K display, you have to be at 60 Hertz I'm, going to try out both of the settings and see which one gives the best battery life.

Apart from that another thing that I noticed was that this time Samsung has decreased the curvature of the curves. As you know, Samsung Galaxy, S and the note lineup is very famous for the curved display. But this time around Samsung has decreased the curves a bit on the waterfall display and I, really like it, because those curves were really annoying plus they made the display really slippery and fragile. So a lot of people used to break their displays. I like this design more and because it's a 6.9 inch display it's a massive display and Samsung makes one of the best displays out there. So this is one of the best displays on any smartphone right now, brains with that, and you're gonna really enjoy it, because you also have stereo speakers.

The only thing that I miss is the headphone jack on this one. But then headphone jack is being cut down from every other flagship phone these days. So I, don't think you can really complain about it that much, but they are really amazing display, and apart from that, the overall design and the build quality of this phone is also great. It's a massive phone, it's very heavy because Samsung has used the right materials. You've got the Gorilla Glass 6 on the front.

Gorilla Glass 6 on the back. You've got an aluminum frame, so all in all, it's a very rich and a really nicely made for it feels really nice in the hand, it's worth that extra money that you spent on this phone, and I've got no complaints with the build quality. The only thing is that, if you like compact phones, you might like the s20 or the s20 plus here, you can see the galaxy s 20 in front of the s 20 ultra, and it looks so tiny. So if you've got small hands, or you just hate, huge phones, don't go with the s, 20 hundreds actually even a little bigger than the iPhone 11 Pro Max. So do make sure that you test this phone out.

First, you use it to get the hang of it. Otherwise, it might just be inconvenient for a lot of people, but I, really like it. I am all-in for phones with big displays, but from the display. The next big thing that everyone's excited about on this phone are the cameras, and here, as you can see, you've got a huge camera bump and the camera setup is just very crazy. On the s20 ultra, the first sensor that you have on this phone, the main sensor is the 108 megapixel large Samsung sensor, and this one can do I.

Think of 200 X, hybrid zoom, so a hundred X is kind of pointless, it's kind of a gimmick, but you can get some perfect shots at 10, X or 30 X, or something like that. So this sensor does not bend or something like that. It combines nine images into one and by default it's going to shoot at 12 megapixels. So it's going to give you amazing low-light performance in all of that, and basically this is slightly different from the hundred and eight megapixel sensor that you have on the Minor 10. So the Minor 10 sensor is a slightly lower sensor.

It does quad pixel binning. This one does non openings, so 9 pixels are being combined into one large pixel, so there is a little of difference, but I will definitely come these two sensors. Apart from that, the second sensor that you have is a 48 megapixel telephoto lens. Now many, when we talk about telephoto lens, the thing is there is like 16 megapixel 12, megapixel, 8 megapixel telephoto lens, but this guy packs in of 48 megapixel telephoto lens it think, is a 10x lens. It supports 10x, hybrid zoom or something and I.

Think it's just crazy.14 megapixels on a telephoto lens is absolutely insane and I. Think, coupled with the hundred and eight megapixel sensor, you can do 30 X 200 X zoom. So there is software and hardware involved to give you that level of zoom. We definitely test this out in the future. Videos and these two sensors actually also have optical image stabilization, so you're going to get really stable videos.

Then, if we talk about the wide-angle lens, it's a 12 megapixel lens, very similar to what we have seen on the s 20 and the s 20 plus, and then finally, you have got a depth sensor, I think for portrait mode and things like that. So all in all a very crazy camera setup. It's a good thing and a bad thing. It's a good thing, because the numbers look really nice, and it can take perfect photos, but it's a bad thing because you guys must have clearly read or seen videos about the autofocusing issues on the s20 ultra. So Samsung has said that they will be fixing it with an update.

But let's see how it goes. I have this phone for three weeks, and I'm, hoping that Samsung pushes an update. So I can give you a really nice camera review and compare it with the iPhone 11 Pro max. The front-facing camera on this phone is a 40 megapixel sensor. Samsung has just gone crazy with the numbers a hundred and eight megapixel on the back 40 on the front, but let's see how it performs in real-world conditions.

I have a lot of camera comparisons lined up for you and then. Finally, if we talk about video, this one does 4k at 30fps at 60fps. You've got optical image stabilization, and can also record videos at 8k at 24, fps I, don't know who's, going to record 8k videos, because, if I'm being honest with you I, don't even think my PC can handle 8k videos. So it's kind of a gimmick as of now because 90% of the people's laptop, or you know desktop, will not support 8k videos and the file size is so big. It doesn't make any sense, but it's a nice thing to have it's pretty cool.

You can try it once or twice if you want to, and I'll definitely try to do some testing around it and make videos for you after that. If I talk about a couple of other things in terms of software, the s20 ultra runs on android 10 right out of the box, and you also have Samsung's one UI that is based on Android 2.1 I, really like 1 UI. Lately I have experienced it on the s10 light. Then I've seen it on the Galaxy, SII flip, and now I'm using it on the s20 ultra, and the experience has been pretty great, is very fast. It is snappy I think the s20 ultra gets u FS, 3.0 or EFS 3.1 storage, so things are very fast and coupled with that 120 Hertz display the overall experience has been buttery smooth on this phone plus 1. You have brought a lot of features to the table that you need in a phone like this.

You've got a couple of gestures. Furthermore, you've got some extra other features, especially you've got features like Samsung decks, wherein you can connect this phone to. Furthermore, you know your monitor or something like that, and you can use it like a mini PC. So if you have a USB hub, a Type C hub or something you can plug in your keyboard mouse, you can plug in the phone to the monitor with an HDMI cable, and you can use it like a desktop. So this one can turn into your workstation as well, and talking about that, this one has HDMI out.

So if you want to stream pop G, if you want to record your gameplay, you can easily connect it to a capture card and do that. I will be doing a dedicated public in play because it's got the snapdragon 865, so I want to see how this one performs and I will definitely cover everything about it, because I also have the galaxy s 20, which is on the OZ nosed 990. So I want to see how much snapdragon 865 on the s20 ultra is better than the Enos on the galaxy has 20, so detailed WebGL reviews also coming your way very, very soon. This one also gets a fingerprint sensor, like the other Samsung flagship models. You've got an ultrasonic sensor, it's not an optical sensor, so any normal tempered glass might not work on this phone.

You'll have to use special tempered, glasses and considering that this one has such an expensive display, you do need to display protection, but I've used the fingerprint sensor so far, and it definitely seems snappier than the note 10 plus and even the S 10 plus, so I'll report about its accuracy in my full you, but you've also got face and lock. So if you don't want to use that sensor, you can always use the face unlock feature so yeah. As of now the galaxy s, 20 ultra seems to be very promising. I mean it's one of the most powerful phones that is currently selling in the market, and I'm really excited to review it. Like I, said I have this one for only three weeks, so I'll be making a lot of videos about it.

I'll try to bring all the videos very, very soon and if you guys have any special requests about a comparison, video or something like that, please let me know in the comments I will be doing a speed test pop G test of the snapdragon variant with the Enos variant. We will see how much we are missing out on in the Indian market, with the Enos variant, and apart from that I'll, do some camera comparisons too. So, if you guys have any special requests, please let me know in the comments as of now. This was my unboxing as well as a first look at the galaxy s, 20 ultra definitely one of the best phones that is available right now. Considering that you have that budget I'll be bringing a lot more videos about this phone and also be tweeting about my experience about the s 20s 20 ultra and the Z flip, so make sure that you follow me on Twitter at iconic.

As of now, that's all I have to say about the s20 ultra thanks for watching this, video and I will be back in a notification very, very soon.
