Hey, what's going on guys, I'm nick grave of android and today, I'm back with another smartphone camera comparison using the Samsung Galaxy s20 Fe, which I'm using to record right now and comparing that with the Pixel 4a, which is a budget friendly device. Now, as I do in all of these smartphone camera comparisons, everything that you see in this video is recorded with these two smartphones, so keep an eye at the bottom of the screen to see which cameras are being used from each of these devices. So with that out of the way, let's jump into the specifications of these two smartphones to see how these two stack up on paper, we're going to start things off with the Pixel 4a, which has a single 12, megapixel camera on the back of the phone and that can record 4k video at up to 30 frames per second. As for the front-facing camera, it also has one single camera that one is an 8 megapixel sensor, and it's capable of recording only 1080p video at 30 fps and switching over to the Samsung Galaxy s20 Fe. You do have a triple camera set up here with a 12 megapixel sensor for the main camera 12 megapixel sensor for the ultra-wide and then an 8 megapixel sensor used for the 3x zoom camera. All of these, though, can record 4k video at up to 60 frames per second flipping things around to the front facing camera you're.
Looking at a 32 megapixel sensor, there also capable of recording 4k at 30 fps. Now that we've gotten the specifications of these two smartphones, all squared away, let's jump into some side-by-side photo and video comparisons to see how these two devices handle themselves in a variety of different lighting conditions and as a reminder again make sure you keep an eye at the bottom of the screen to see which devices and which cameras are being used for the photos and videos that you see. Let's get to it. So hey you, and this here is a look at video from the front facing camera on both of these devices in low light situations. Now, while the higher resolution of the camera on the Samsung Galaxy, s20 Fe takes inferior pictures than the low resolution sensor on the galaxy, not the galaxy, the Pixel 4a, it honestly does better in low light conditions.
What you're looking at is 4k video on the Samsung device, whereas you only get 1080p on the Pixel 4a. Now the pixels video might be just a little brighter, but as far as clarity and resolution goes, the Samsung does definitely have the win in this situation. Do and that's going to do it for this camera comparison between the Samsung Galaxy, s20 Fe and the Pixel 4a. Let me know what you think of the results in the comments below and which device you would rather use on a day-to-day basis for capturing photos and videos and keep in mind that the galaxy s20 Fe does cost a double of what the Pixel 4a does, even though the cameras may not actually be quite as good. Thank you guys so much for watching.
If you enjoyed this video, please give it a thumbs up and don't forget to subscribe as well. We have a full review of the galaxy s20 Fe coming up so make sure you stay tuned for that thanks again, and I'll catch you in the next one.
