What's up guys, my name is Bailey and welcome back to another one of my videos in this video today, I will be addressing one of the questions that I got on my previous video on the battery life of the iPhone 11. A lot of comments were asking how long the battery life actually lasts from a hundred percent to zero percent in this video I'll be doing that full battery drain test from a hundred percent to zero percent to ruin my iPhone's battery, so that you guys don't either ruin yours without any further ado. Let's get into the specifics of this test now for this test, like I, said I'll be using the iPhone 11 it's currently plugged in it's, not a hundred percent, which I'll show you right in there. It's not a hundred percent and I will unplug it here when I run that video test I will go ahead and enable Bluetooth and leave cellular as well as Wi-Fi turned on I will blast the brightness level as well as these speakers just to keep this a controlled environment. I will go ahead and make sure all the apps are closed, except for the YouTube app. That is where I'll be streaming the video now on the Apple website.
It does state that the video playback for streaming is up to ten hours when you're doing this, so I found a video on YouTube that is 11 hours long. It's a nature. Video now, instead of speeding up through the whole nature, video and letting you guys watch the whole 11 hours, I'm going to go ahead and cut forward to every hour increment, so I will come back every hour until the iPhone dies and check up on the battery life for the iPhone 11. So you guys get the results of that, and I will have my Samsung Galaxy Tab here doing the timing for it. So without any further ado.
Let's start this video and let's see how long this iPhone 11 actually lasts when you're video streaming online, so I'm going to go ahead and unplug this and pull up my tab here when I go ahead and click the video and turn that to the side zoom in, for you guys and start the time. Alright guys, so I will be back in an hour and you guys can see what the results will be like in an hour and let's see where this goes. Alright guys, I just went ahead, and I lowered the volume a little, because we are coming close to that one hour mark here. We just barely passed it and I just wanted to show you the battery percentage on the iPhone. It 11 real, quick and then we will go ahead and resume this test.
So we are sitting at about 85% after one hour of streaming on YouTube on full brightness and full speakers with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and cellular enabled. So let's go ahead and turn this volume back up and let's continue this test and I will be back in about another hour. So we have hit the two-hour mark on our iPhone 11 battery test. Let's go ahead and check the battery percentage, so it's sitting at 57% after two full hours of running this YouTube video, so we started 100, and now we're at 57. So, from the first hour it went from a hundred to seventy-five percent and on the second test, I went from 75 to 57%, so that's going to be about an 18% decrease on the second hour and a 50% decrease on the first hour.
We are right at the three-hour mark, and it looks like the battery is still going on the iPhone 11. Let's check the percentage, so we're at 37% when we're at the beginning of the second hour we have 57 percent, so I went down 20% on the second hour to the third hour. So let's go ahead and continue this test and let's see how much longer this iPhone 11 can last okay, we are here at the four-hour mark, the iPhone 11 battery is still running and let's check that percentage. It is at 16%, so we end it off after the third hour at 37%. So now it's at 16%, so that is a 21% decrease after the third hour or the fourth hour.
Let's see how much longer you can go, I, don't think it will last another hour. Let's keep this video running and let's see where we can get with this iPhone 11, alright guys, so the iPhone just shut off at 4 hours and 49 minutes with 48 seconds left. The iPhone is completely dead. I can't turn it on, but this is about half the time that Apple has advertised. But you have to keep in mind that when Apple does these tests, they probably don't do it at full, brightness or even at full speaker capacity.
You have to keep in mind that I did full brightness full speaker capacity. I also did Wi-Fi enabled Bluetooth enabled as well as cellular enabled, so I had a lot of things enabled I didn't have anything in the background running, except for that YouTube app, which ran the video, but with the test they only went 4 hours and 49 minutes. So I hope this video helps some of those out who are trying to figure out if this is a good device for you, if you are a heavy streamer on YouTube or on Netflix. If this is a good device, because it only it will last you roughly around 5 hours of battery usage, if you're at full brightness, that is all I have for you guys in this video. If this video helped you guys out, please smash that like button, if you guys have any questions at all regarding this test or anything that I have talked about in this video go ahead and leave it in the comments down below, and I will catch you guys all in the next video peace.
