Samsung Galaxy S10 vs iPhone Xs - Speed Test

What is up folks how's it going. This watch hope you guys are all doing well, and today we're going to be doing a speed test comparison between the Samsung Galaxy s10 and the iPhone 10s. Now in terms of specifications, the iPhone is using an a12 bionic, six core processors, comprised of two performance cores and two high efficiency cores. We also have a quad-core GPU and, like the snapdragon 855 chips on the Samsung, it's also using a seven nanometer architecture. Now Qualcomm's 855 chip comprises essentially eight Cairo arm cores, comprised of a single quad-core processor, a single tricorn processor and a single core processor. We have the details in terms of the operation frequency that those processors run at.

We are also using the arena 640 GPU on the s10 and in terms of ram. Furthermore, we have about eight gigabytes on the Samsung versus four gigabytes on the 10s. Now. The reason why this is an important speak test is that both of these phones actually represent the family of smartphones that are currently being offered by apple and Samsung. So the s10, plus and s10e, have the exact same processor and the same thing goes with the 10s max and 10r on the iPhone side at the exact same a12, bionic chips, so essentially over here we're going to get a good idea in terms of how the current generation iPhone stack up against the latest and greatest smartphones from Samsung.

Now, first, let's get into the synthetic benchmark results. Let's look at base mark OS version two and here taking a look at the overall results. You can see that the iPhone is coming out on top with that higher score of around 5400 versus 4700 points on the s10 and feel free to pause. The video, if you want detailed information about some other numbers, but we're essentially going to move on to geek bench and take a look at the single core and multi-core performance again we're seeing a similar trend where the iPhone 10s is coming slightly on top, perhaps not by a significant margin in terms of the multi-core performance. As you can see, both are scoring around 11 000 points, but on the single core performance.

It's definitely higher around 4 points versus 3500 points on the s10 in terms of an tutu uh we're getting pretty much for the first time. An iPhone and Samsung device is getting the exact same score more or less about 359 000 uh. If we go into obviously more detail, the iPhone is slightly ahead by a couple of hundred points, but again it can't brag about uh really that lead now, let's go ahead and move on and actually load up, some applications that you're gonna use on more of a day-to-day basis and kind of see how each smartphone fairs up against each other in terms of snappiness responsiveness of the UI and uh application loading speed. So let's get right into that now. Both smartphones are very snappy indeed uh.

I do have to mention that this iPhone 10s is brand new. It's never been used before so certainly, a more used device that has more apps installed might be a little slower than what we encountered over here, but this is a very fair comparison and the fact that both of these smartphones are brand new and nobody has really uh broken them in, so we're just taking them straight out of the box and basically doing the speed test for you. So both are very similar in terms of overall condition and, as you saw from just the general speed of applications, loading up, it's going to be apt, app, dependent, uh and in most case the speed differences are pretty negligible uh for the most part, as we encounter it most of the time when we do these speed test comparisons, but uh from a synthetic benchmark standpoint and perhaps from our technical standpoint uh. Perhaps the iPhone is slightly faster, but not by a significant margin and certainly doesn't have any bragging rights to boast about uh compared to the s10. Now, if you haven't checked out our camera comparison, uh test between these two definitely do so.

Click on the card or in the description down below, and we're also gonna, have a battery life test coming up very, very soon, and perhaps it's already out so definitely check out the description and the channel for more details. In the meantime, I want to thank you so much for watching. Thanks for your support, make sure you give us a thumbs up and have notifications turned on, and that we'll see you later take care.
