Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus vs Huawei P30 Pro!

Hi guys it's SPORT, and today we're going to do a versus comparison review between the brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 right, but which one is right for you. So without further ado, let's get straight to it. So, firstly, we're going to touch on design and build quality, and both are very, very well put together. I would say the note is slightly heavier both pretty similar in terms of thickness. The note is also wider and longer, and both, of course, are made of metal and glass from the rear. They both look incredibly similar now with this vertical triple camera array, and we'll get two cameras a little later.

If we flip to the front, we have the almost bezel less infinity-edge displays on both. We have a slightly larger chin on the P30 Pro, and we have the water drop notch on the P30 Pro, whereas we have the Infinity o punch, I'll cut out in the middle of the note. Let me know which renditions you prefer: the punch hole or the water drop. If we look at the top, we have our SIM card tray on the note that SIM card tray is on the bottom on the P30 Pro alongside the type-c charging port and the speaker, the note has the type C charging port the speaker, and it also has the magic S Pen as well. Now we touched on the bottom firing speakers.

We have stereo speakers on the note. We only have mono on the far AP 30, Pro and I have to say you know the testing. The speakers do sound a little better on the note than the P30 Pro. If we flip to the right-hand side, we have the volume rocker up and down and the power button on the P30 Pro. We have nothing on the note if we flip to the other side.

This time we have nothing on the P30 Pro and the volume rocker and power button on the note, so the exact same button configurations just on separate sides, so that's it for design and build quality, both made extremely well of metal and glass. It's just a P30 Pro is a little better for one how to juice.2 2 is smaller size, so we talked about the smaller size. That actual display is a 6 point.4 7 inch AMOLED display on the P30 Pro, it's full HD, plus at 23 40 by 1080, with a PPI density of 3, 9 8. So straight away, we a fairly big jump between the note and the P30 Pro, and that is that display. We have a quad HD plus panel on the Samsung 3040 by 1440, with a PPI density of four nine eight, and it's six point.

Eight inches that note panel is also HD are 10 plus. So, while the P30 Pro display is a perfect display, it's not quite as good as the note m+. Now, in terms of storage, we have max of 512 gigabytes on the P30 Pro, with possible external storage using Huawei's NATO memory, storage of 512 gigabytes on the note 10, plus with expandable storage, using a micro SD max of 8 gigabytes of RAM on the P30 Pro 12 gigabytes on the note and battery is a very, very close one to call 4200 mAh battery capacity on the Huawei P30 Pro 4300. On the note, but of course we have a slightly larger display. We have a quad HD plus panel.

We have different software which we'll touch on, and we have different SOC jazz. Well, so it's going to be very, very difficult without doing a full battery test which I can do. If you want to see it. Let me know in the comments to say, which is going to give you better battery life. In addition to that, what's making it even harder to tell is the updated, fast charging setup on the note, because in the past, while we have always excelled with their fast charging, 40 watts on the P30 Pro, meaning you can charge your device from naught to 70%, roughly in just over half an hour.

But the note now offers 45 watts fast charging up from the 15 that we've seen on the s10 plus. So we have got a much better fast charging system on the note, 10 plus both are going to be great for battery ip68 water and dust resistant on both Android 9pi on both, but we have Huawei's emu skin on the P30 Pro Samsung's, one UI. On the note. If I was pushed for my opinion on which I prefer I would go with Samsung's one UI, you can of course download a launcher. Now we jump onto the SOC.

We have the Karin 980 on the P30 Pro, which is a 7?mm e2 chip. It was the world's first when it came out a month before Apple released theirs on the iPhone 10 s, but as it is almost last year's technology in terms of flagships, it debuted on their make 20 series and rolled round to the p30 series as well this year. So we are due to see a brand new SOC from Huawei, probably in a couple of months, so that might sway your decision and might make you want to wait for the mate 30 mate 30 Pro, because it will have an updated SOC, whereas this something no offering gives you the snapdragon 855 or the Enos 9 8 to 5 they're, not night and day in terms of performance. But the Qualcomm and Samsung's in-house offerings are marginally newer than the ones from Huawei. Now we jump onto the camera, and this is going to sway opinion.

As always, both are great cameras. As mentioned, we've got quad cameras on both a 40 megapixel primary sensor, with F 1.6 aperture on the P30 Pro, a 20 megapixel wide-angle lens with f2 point to a picture and an 8 megapixel periscope lens with F 3.4 aperture, and this periscope lens enables the P 30 probes to optically zoom up to five times and using additional digital zoom. It can hybrid up to 50 times. It is incredible. There have been a couple of shady goings-on in terms of AI, creating better images than what the camera is actually able to take moon gate, but nevertheless you can't deny what, while we are done with this camera setup is incredible, especially in terms of that zoom aspect.

We have a time-of-flight lens as well, which is a depth sensing lens good for portraits, both shots, etc. The front camera sensor is a 32 megapixel lens with F 2.0 aperture in terms of video on the P30 Pro we have max of 4k at 30 and 1080p on the front camera. If we jump to the note 10 plus, we have a 12 megapixel primary sensor, with mixed aperture from F 1.5, all the way through to F 2.4. We have a 12 megapixel telephoto lens and a 16 megapixel ultra wide-angle lens. We have a time-of-flight lens as well.

Now I personally prefer the wide-angle lens on the Samsung device, but I prefer the zoom capabilities on the P30 Pro. The front camera sensor is a 10 megapixel lens and in terms of video recording we've got a max of 4k. Our 60 frames, a second on the rear and okay at 30 on the front. So you do get better video capabilities on the note than you would do on the P30 Pro on the rear and on the front and a few extra features as well. Life focus video and a mode where you can kind of add animations that track your subject when you're creating a video.

The implementation doesn't seem to be that great currently, because I think the end product could be so much better. Now, I'm going to jump onto one of the famous features that note devices have, and that is of course the S Pen I generally do love using the S Pen the ability to take photos and create notes, etc. With that S Pen, let me know what you think about the two devices in the comment section below: do you like both of them? Do you like? Neither of them or do you have a preference, the P30 Pro or the note 10 plus? Let me know in the comments, as always, I would love to hear your thoughts like and share.
