BlackBerry KEYone Cases - The One For You

You're buying a BlackBerry q1, and you want to protect your baby right. Let's talk about BlackBerry case crackberry. com, everybody crank, RIA Kevin here for crack very calm. I've had a blast this year meeting blackberry owners at over 15 meetups that we've done, and at the most recent series of meetups across the U. S. a bunch of people had blackberry, key ones.

They've been on sale now for Nelson's mate. One thing I've noticed is that almost every key one owner I bump into has a case on their t1, which is interesting because for me, I have been using it. You know most of the time with no case on the phone. It can take a beating this phone. We proved it in my last video, where we beat the hell out of a couple of key ones, but for the sake of science and actually more so to help you make a decision on what kind of case you want for your key one.

I picked up a bunch, and here we go we're going to take a couple of minutes and run through some different blackberry, t1 case options. Let's dive into it. Let's start with the official blackberry q1 t, so these are the price ones. They come from blackberry, so their blackberry branded. You can see a little blackberry logo on the back, and they retail for 35 bucks, so they're at the higher price point of what you're probably going to spend on a key one case and there's two style key one flip case, which is super cool because it brings back the magnetic feature that I've always loved on black cases.

I always got a kick out of this and dearly as a blackberry. When you open the case, it actually turns the phone screen on there's like a little magnetic switch somewhere underneath that does that, and you'll also see when you close the phone, it switches views so through this little hole on the screen. You can see your notification when the clock slows up a little. It's just easy to see everything of importance and when you open it, it goes back to your standard home screen. One of the things you can do with it is keep talking with the case closed.

So if you get a phone call, you keep talking next up, you have. The pocket sleeve from blackberry, has a little credit card holder thing as a back, which is cool little less friendly to use, because you got to actually pop the phone out of it, and then you're using a naked key one again, which maybe isn't the problem. Maybe it is depending on if you have butterfingers or not the pocket sleeve gives you a nice carrying case for the phone that still gives you access to your notifications through the screen, not a bad case at all. Okay, suppose, your two official blackberry cases that we've seen so far and if you can track them down, you can't really go wrong with them. Assuming you, like the style of case between these two I, would probably go for the flip case, because I just think that's open-close, open-close, it's just a lot of fun.

How can you not like that next up we're going to talk about Scipio here? So Scipio is a company? That's been around the smartphone accessory game for many years now, I've always liked their product. So I. You know very much wanted to get Scipio cases for this, and I'm glad they're a partner building for the key one. You can't really go wrong with any of them. Scipio's products and we've got two versions here we have more of their standard sleeve skin.

They call this the NGC slim Polly meet case, so it's a fairly thick skin, yet for the key one, but not too thick, and when you put the device in it, you know it doesn't add a lot of bulk. It gives you a bit of grip. Extra grip gives you four corner protection against. You know scuffs and bumps and drops, and that kind of thing overall I like to look at it. It comes in a bunch of colors, so it's one that you know looks quite nice with a black key one here you know is good everyday protection for about twenty dollars.

Another one they have is slightly more heavy duty, and this is your Scipio dual pro case, and you'll notice, there's a little accessory that I accessorize, the accessory with it's like a speaking style ring on the back. Just defies gravity. Oh, but you'll see this one has two layers to it, so you have a standard skin, and then you have this harder plastic shell. So that's the one piece and then here's your skin, and you'll see like the buttons are covered in this case. Still leave the press.

I've noticed I've used this one quite a bit out of you know all the cases on the table I actually spent the most time on this. One I want something a little more heavy-duty to try out, and it works. Well now one thing I am always mindful of with thicker cases is battery life. You know, I, think there's this fine line where, if you have too thick of a case, all of a sudden, the radios in the phone need to work harder to maintain connectivity, I swore the first couple days. I use this Mikey one wasn't getting quite as exceptional battery life as it always yes, I didn't know.

If that was in my head or not I wasn't doing scientific testing or anything with it, and then I kept using it and the battery life was still perfect, so be mindful, though, with any smartphone really, if you start to go really bulky on cases that can happen, and this one is a little more expensive, that's $30, but again heavier duty protection for your key one. If you want to make sure you've got it covered and next up we have two cases from Vela cases we found on Amazon just looking around pretty cool for you, no flip cases, they've got a little pizzazz to them, and they hold the phone pretty good too. So you can see inside the flip case. Here you just have a gel skin. The phone slips in quite easily won't fall out and that's it.

You have a basic case, key cardholder in there, and it also serves as a kickstand. So if you like that kind of look, these cases are pretty reasonable in price they're, literally starting at like 11 dollars. So you get something that looks quite a bit more premium than the price point on it. If you just want to make sure that your key one is protected, those are two good options as well trying to go through my pile here. This guy didn't open.

Yet this is the cheapest package of the bunch from amber I think these actually have pretty good ratings. Typically, as I drop the case on the floor on live first, look you can see the back here. It's got a little dual texture, a little more matte rubbery on the back shiny black on the sides. Maybe we'll put this on this guy looks pretty good feels not bad. The back isn't slippery.

You know basic protection for your q1, so that's it kind of boring video, but a practical one, because safety first, a lot of people put cases on their phones. So what I want to know is in the comments. Let me know: do you put a case on your key one and if so, what type of case are you interested in? Do you like it? You know a basic skin. Are you about the flip case thing? If you like something, that's more heavy-duty, that's a good list of options to get you going. Availability is sometimes been tricky.

We noticed at the start, it was really hard to get your hands on the BlackBerry accessories. It seems now, last time, I looked. They were available on Amazon again, I'll put some links in the description, so click click click away, and let me know what you bought them genuinely curious to see how your, how you are protecting your BlackBerry key one. That's it for this one safety. First nope.
