Samsung Galaxy A52 VoLTE (SpeedTest)

Hey guys, mike from tech reviews here, and today we are going to be testing out the network speed on the Samsung Galaxy a52. I believe this is the a52. I believe let's go ahead and confirm this just to make sure, because I always uh, you know, buy these phones and I forget what the name. But yes, this is the galaxy a52 and again this is the VO LTE version of it and I might have just given away my phone number, but that's all right that this is a secondary line that I use. So this is not my main uh phone, so that's, okay, but anyways. So again I purchased this phone about a couple of weeks ago already, and you know, I've had it for a little now, and I wanted to test out the again mobile network on it and so keep in mind.

This is an unlocked device that I purchased on Amazon and this specific device is uh, the VO LTE version. So again, this is not the 5g version. There is a 5g version of this phone, but this is not it. So let's go ahead and test it out again. The network here is going to be tested in Austin, Texas ATX.

So let's go ahead and get that going for you again. I haven't really posted any type of network. Uh speeds here uh, but, as you can see here I mean for the most part, even though this is a non 5g phone. The speed on this is actually relatively good. You know I'm topping out right now at about 150 megs download and let's see what we can do on the upload.

I'm not 100 sure I think I've usually average around between, like eight and 10 on the upload depending on sometimes my uploads are perfect by the way uh. It really just depends on again right now it being about 11 30 p. m. Central time and again I will test the same thing: uh right here on the galaxy a32 as well uh, once I finish uh, you know doing the review on this specific phone or testing out the networks on this, but again 154 downloads and one uh 10 uploads. So again that was just the first um.

You know the first speed test there. I am going to go ahead and change the network to somewhere closer down here so again that one is in Austin Texas, which is about five hours away from me. Actually, so let's go ahead and get this going for you guys. Let's see if this makes a difference for you guys and again this one's more of a local um. I guess you know networker or communications tower so again, right now, I'm still getting pretty good speeds.

It looks like I'm still above the 120 mark, just crazy that the one that's five hours away got better connection got better speeds, but it is what it is. You know what I mean again. I'm really surprised you usually do a lot better on the upload speeds with T-Mobile, but I guess you know just that. Specifically it's not doing that. Well, so I mean for the most part, I think 10 is still great upload speed, so I'm not going to complain too hard.

Okay, that was your second. That was your second speed test, and again you have 128 downloads, 989 uploads so again, not, not bad, to say the least. Again. This is a LTE phone guys. So for those of you who you know are you know thinking about transitioning from your know, 4g to 5g phones? Definitely it's really not a major difference.

Just yet I mean yes, if you have 5g connectivity in your area, you are going to see a double of that most likely, so you'll be seeing 300 megs, but I believe that most people should be fine with 100 meg download speeds. For the most part, I mean that's like having cable or broadband like basic, cable broadband in your home. So again I did change the uh. You know the network again down there or the um the settings, let's see if we can get at least close to what we got there. Oh, it looks like we're getting we're getting even uh, better, better speeds and let's go ahead and 2x this just so you guys can see that and again, if you guys are curious, I'm I'm actually filming on the Pixel 4a, the Google Pixel 4a, and it is kind of dark in my room.

So I do apologize for the horrible lighting um but yeah. If you just look at that, I mean again upload's, not that great, but for the most part you know. Definitely, let's go ahead and 1x this again. For the most part, you know it's not disappointing in the in any means, you know what I mean: 135, download and nine uploads, so I believe, that's very respectable again. This is running, I believe, a snapdragon processor.

Let's go ahead and just double check that, because I know that I confused the snapdragon processor, with the actual um with the other one. So, according to this here you go. It's got a Samsung a52 six core, so it's an outscore processor. I want to get the actual processor itself, though. Well, I guess it's then an android aarch64 again.

Okay, so again, I might need to double-check on that, because I know that the 4g LTE one is not the same as the actual um processor on the 5g. I think the 5g version has the snapdragon 750 g. If I'm not correct on that, so I know this. One might not have that since it's the low LTE version, but again guys uh for the most part. You know again if I go back to variable back to T-Mobile Austin, oh no, it's giving me error failure, so I was.

I was actually getting this a while back. I don't know what was going on there uh, but I was actually getting a bunch of errors with the speed test. Now, I don't know if it's the net specific network or if it's the actual phone, because again this is an international device for the most part, though, from what you guys saw, though my results from those are the speed test results that I just did right now again, three of them out of the four were over a hundred, and I did this one before the actual test so again take it with a grain of salt, guys it's going to be different, every area that you're in and where you live again. I live in south Texas and T-Mobile is pretty dominant down here so again take it with a grain of salt. It's going to be different everywhere, but again, if you have good T-Mobile service in your area, you should not be disappointed so again guys.
