iPad mini 2019 review - a FIRST CLASS tablet

So this right here is the iPad Mini 2019, and this is the best small tablet that you can buy right now. I personally been always a fan of the iPad Mini I always loved the iPad Mini, but then the iPad Mini got updated. It was pretty slow as it started to become really laggy and didn't have Apple pencils support. So then nobody really bought it because it wasn't. It wasn't perfect, but now Apple released the iPad Mini from 2019, with perfect specs with a really outdated design, but once again with really awesome specs. So let me go ahead and review the iPad Mini from 2019.

The design of the 2019 iPad Mini doesn't really feel like it's coming from 2019, because the design is actually 7 years old. It's got huge bezels on the top and on the bottom of the device it's got touch ID and so that a face ID we get a home button, so the design it's just. It feels like it's from the past now. Does that mean that the design is bad? No not really but I just wish that Apple would have added the iPad Pro X 2x display into the iPad Mini. Now that would have been amazing.

Any charts, the iPad Mini via lightning, no USB, see I'm kind of really annoyed as this, because Apple is always saying that USB see is the future, but then Apple isn't really adding USB seeing on their latest device, which is really annoying, but of course, lightning still works as well. So, as I was saying, going back to the home button, just felt like a thing of the past, even though iOS twelve brought gestures to the iPad. That means, if you swipe up from the screen, you will go to your home screen. If you swipe up and hold your multitask, so the gestures are still there and if you actually go in on the top right, you actually get here. Control center, that's great, but it's just ways that you know the bezels would be gone right now.

The iPad Mini, it's just a perfect small iPad. Now, if you're, okay, with that, it's probably good for most people for me personally- spoiler alert, I'm gonna talk about this at the end of the video, but I will be keeping my iPad Pro. Let's get with the review, one of my favorite things about the brand new iPad Mini is the processors. It's got the tile processor, which is exactly the same processor as the iPhone 10, our iPhone 10s and iPhone tennis Macs. Now, if you have any of those devices, you know how fast, how crispy, how fluid those iPhones actually are so grab those specs and bring it onto the iPad Mini no I've always remembered the iPad Mini like a Freddy, not really a fast device, but now with the 2019 iPad Mini, it's incredible how Apple has actually fit the eight full processor in this such form-factor iPad.

It's incredible talking about the form factor. This is my personal favorite thing about this brand new iPad Mini. It's the form factor, it's so comfortable to use I mean the form factor almost brought me almost got me. Switching from my iPad Pro to the iPad Mini and yes, I'll say that again I mean it almost got me. Switching to the iPad Pro yeah sure the iPad Pro has all these beautiful features.

It's got the edge to edge display. It's got the most fancy processor. Everything is fancy about the iPad Pro, but in real life, all you want is just an iPad and how comfortable this thing it is actually to use it just got me thinking, I'm going to switch to this guy and at the end, I didn't, and I'll explain why, at the end of the video, if you like, reading browsing the web, it's such an amazing experience as well. I, personally love, reading articles and personally love reading magazines onto my iPad, and this iPad Mini is a way much better experience than the iPad Pro, for example, because you can basically hold it with one hand, and you're, basically just chilling on the couch you're just reading you're. Just you know, taking us with your Apple Pencil I mean it's just such a good experience with the signs now I personally love to draw as well.

Now is this iPad Mini too small to draw in I wouldn't say that it's too small because you can definitely drop, but the experience of course in an iPad Pro is way much better than this guy, but it's definitely doable I mean the screen is just you can basically take this anywhere. So let's say you go to the park. You can basically just pop your iPad Mini in most people, this iPad actually fits in your pocket, which is crazy by the way talking about trying the Apple Pencil is now from Adam. Oh, what the five now the most frustrating thing with this iPad you've heard everybody saying it is that it's got the first generation Apple Pencil. No, this doesn't mean that it's horrible I still love the first generation Apple Pencil, but I just wish, of course, that Apple would have added the second generation Apple Pencil, because it's like why not I guess Apple wants to make the iPad Pro more exclusive and more pro by itself and like this, you know you they've actually got a bunch of specs.

Now, there's actually a bunch of difference in specs. That's why they kept the first in a recent Apple Pencil, the first in recent Apple Pencil I, just don't like the way it charges actually made a video on Twitter on how I feel every time when I charge my iPad just, just check it out if you're not following me on Twitter, yet I, don't know what you're doing with your life check the links down in the description. So my favorite thing about the Apple Pencil tomb. It's just the way you charted because I was saying you just charge it right here, and it just looks so incredibly awkward. But my favorite thing about this: it's not only the way that you charge it.

It's just the fact that the Apple Pencil tune is always there. It's always ready, and it's always charged with this. Sometimes you just have to even it always kind of disconnects because it just doesn't. You have to do like this and then once you actually put the lid back on, you do like that, but the Apple bits have to you just grab it and then a noting. Does that mean that this Apple Pencil is bad? No, the first generation Apple Pencil has great precision.

It's got a great battery life as well, so it's just the Apple Pencil ?, it's just more fancy. The iPad Pro is more fancy, but a lot are all of those features worth its yield. That's something that you should definitely consider while buying this iPad. Now this week that I've actually been using the iPad Mini the thing that I've enjoyed the most out of everything, apart from the form factor it was kind of relate to what I'm about to say is note-taking I mean you just take it everywhere in class, it's just comfortable. It's such a perfect display.

It's just the perfect experience. I feel like I'm, saying this for everything for gaming fit drawings, but if it's so true. If you've never experienced the iPad Mini, definitely try it out the Apple Pencil and this guy they make so much sense together. They make sense on the iPad Pro, but this duel right here this combo right here is amazing. Now you know, what's not that amazing, it's the speaker's! It's only got two speakers on the loud, so you won't get the richest and the deepest bass.

Speakers out there, like the iPad Pro me on the iPad Pro there are four stereo speakers. So when you're actually listening to a video or a song, for example, the audio on the iPad Pro comes from there and from here on the iPad Mini. It only comes from here, so it doesn't mean that the speakers suck it just means that they're not as good as the iPad Pro. So, if you don't really know if you're not really understanding what I mean with this just go to the Apple Store and check the iPads over there, even though the Apple Store is kind of going to be a little noisy. Just trust me on this one I mean the iPad.

Mini is great, it's not the best, but you'll be fine to know if you love the whole, the headphone jack, if you like the headphone jack. Well, you get one on the iPad Mini, which is weirdly. Weird I mean I. Just don't understand why Apple would add a headphone jack Apple has removed a headphone jack on the iPhone they've removed it on a more expensive iPad Pro, and then they bring the headphone jack back on the iPad Mini and the iPad Air. It's just it just doesn't make sense, but either way, if you like, you know producing music or if you still like using iPhone Jack, and you don't like wireless headphones for some reason, you still have a phone jack on the end, which is great I guess, but I just don't like the way that Apple is thinking with this.

The display on the iPad Mini is amazing. It's got a laminated display which makes the actual screen feel like it's right there on the 20:18 iPad, the iPad 9.7 inch, the iPad that cost $300. If you have that iPad, it's still amazing, but that iPad it's got like a tiny gap between the display and the actual glass, because it's not laminated, while the iPad Mini 2019 has a laminate display. So you will feel like the screen is literally bright. There.

It's beautiful better life on the iPad Mini is also great. It basically lasts me throughout the whole day, without problem with heavy usage with note-taking and drawing and using my Apple Pencil so and studying, so it lasts me through the whole day. So you shouldn't really worry, as you would expect from your know, at 2019. I bet. Your life is great on the company.

Now the final question is: do I recommend the 2019 iPad Mini and my answer is hands-down. Yes, you're going to love the iPad Mini if you're looking to buy a small tablet, a tablet, an iPad that you can carry around with you and your backpack and your prayers, even in some pockets, if they're big enough you're going to absolutely fall in love with the iPad Mini sets how portable it is, and it's actually got an Apple Pencil support, and it's actually got a perfect performance. It's fast fluid! It's everything that you would expect from a 20-19 iPad. Now, if you want the latest specs, the latest display technology, the latest Apple Pencil you're out of luck with this year's iPad Mini and that's the same thing that happened to me. I wanted I really wanted to love the iPad Mini.

What I did, but I didn't love the iPad Mini more than my iPad Pro now, why am I saying this? But basically I was saying before yeah specs, don't really matter in day-to-day base and that's still true, but since I already own an iPad Pro, it's kind of stupid for me to sell my iPad Pro and go to an iPad Mini that the design kind of feel is outdated once again, that's because already own it now iPad Pro. If you want a small tablet once again go ahead and get it, but for me, since I already owned, like a beast of an iPad, going back to the iPad Mini with the home button and with the not as good speakers, they're still good, but they're, not as good speakers. The Apple Pencil too, it's just stupid for me to go back. Yes, I really enjoyed using the iPad Mini and the size. This form factor I'm, going to miss it a lot today, guys, that's where that's it.

For my bring you on the 2019 iPad Mini, please, it would really mean a lot if you would give this video a big thumbs up and really helps out the channel reach out to more people and yeah I'll see you tomorrow with a brand new video peace. You.
