Samsung Galaxy A51 Unboxing & Review UK - Just How Good Is It?

Hey everyone welcome back to the channel. My name is Pete from swish Mobile's, and today we're taking a look at this mid-range Samsung handset we'll be taking a look at the screen, the camera and how well it performs while gaming, if you're new, around here and just joining us, please subscribe to our channel and hit the notification bell. So you'll get notified whenever we put up a new video we're just starting our YouTube journey, and we've got loads more to come. So today, I have the galaxy a 51. Now this phone sits in the middle of the range. The galaxy 51 offers a big list of specs for relatively little money when you compare that with speck versus cost.

But how good is it in the real world? Let's start with what I think is the best part of this phone and that's the screen. Samsung calls this screen the Infinity o display, and it measures.6.5 inches is Super AMOLED 1080 by 2400 resolution, our PPI of 405, it's almost edge to edge, and it has the hole, punch, type space for the front facing camera to peek. Out of speaking of cameras, these handsets got 5 132 megapixels on the front and then 4 cameras on the back. Yes, four cameras on a mid-level phone, starting at the top you've got the 5 megapixel depth. Camera followed by the main 48 megapixel camera then comes the 123 degree, ultra-wide 12, megapixel, camera and finally, positioned just to the side of that comes the 5 megapixel macro camera and the video records at 1080p at 30 frames per second plus as a whole host of camera modes and camera effects to play about with all this sounds like a dream, come true for camera fans, but how does it stack up in the real world? Let's take a look so to test the camera.

We took the galaxy 851 out for a walk in our local area. At first, we were finding the results to be a little dull, but once we turned on some of Samsung's photo enhancements, the pictures were a lot more pleasing to the eye, although not 100% natural, this phone also has a professional mode to get to it. All you have to do is click more and then pro, and then this gives you some extra options. For example, you can manually adjust the white balance, the ISO and also the exposure pretty cool. We also tested the panorama mode once this is activated you can turn around on the spot.

Whilst the phone is stitching, many photos together and using some software wizardry, it makes it all aligned in the final photo the galaxy fifty ones. Battery comes in at four thousand Williams and Samsung do include a 15 watt, fast charger in the box. This handset doesn't have wireless charging, although that would have been a nice bonus, but it doesn't Samsung claimed the 8051 has fast processing with an outscore processor. The version we have here is the UK spec version, which includes four gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of internal storage. Just a quick detour to let you know that we're giving away a pair of these Nokia, true wireless earbuds, all you've got to do is be a subscriber to our channel.

Once we hit 100 subscribers, we'll be giving this away for free. Now, let's get back to the video Samsung, specifically make a point of mentioning their game and frame booster, which claims to make get into the controls easy and also offering the game a smooth, lifelike motion with battery and memory. Optimization all sounds good to me: let's download a few games from the Play Store and see how the a51 performs okay. So here we have some very brief demos of some games playing on the galaxy a 51. This first one is a racing game.

Called asphalt.9, as you can see, is quite a fast-paced game with plenty going on and loads of vibrant colors on the screen and whilst playing it, we found that the Galaxy a 51 handled it really well up. Next, we've got these three games from left to right: we've got Mario, Kart, Mario run and then Sonic —, the galaxy 851 had no problem playing any of these games. All games were fast smooth and low. Tom's were pretty quick as well. Samsung boast defense grade security with their Samsung Knox system.

This galaxy, a 51, also has an in screen fingerprint sensor for security. Pretty much every smartphone on the market today has its own virtual assistant. Samsung's own brand of virtual assistant is called Bixby, so Bixby does return on this galaxy. A 51 with added features such as Bigamy routines, Samsung claimed the phone will adapt to your lifestyle, for example, reducing the blue light and turning on night mode when it thinks you're about to go to bed. If you fancy one of these galaxy, 50 ones yourself, how much is it going to cost you at the moment, you're looking at just under three hundred pounds to buy the handset outright or from nineteen pounds a month if you put it on a plan, I'll put a couple of links in the description below, so you can take a look at some deals.

Well, that's about it for today. There's one more thing I wanted to mention, though, which was this phone still retains the three and a half mil audio jack, which is important to a lot of people, and that's it, thanks for stopping by thanks for watching the video. Please subscribe and we'll see you again soon.
