How To Fix Samsung Phones With Slow Charge!! (This actually works)

What is up guys Brady, with mini tech clips, and today, I'm going to be showing you how to fix your Samsung phone that has a slow charge, basically meaning when you plug it in to your charger, it's taking forever to actually charge the phone or when you're on it like snap chatting or watching YouTube or Netflix. It's pretty much just losing battery, and you just feel absolutely hopeless. So I'm going to be showing you how to fix that and resolve any issues you might have. So just for some background. I made a video about two years ago: titled how to fix Samsung phones with slow charge. Working 2018, yes, I had to retitle it because this does in fact actually still work.

I uploaded that November 27th of 2015. So basically that video is pretty outdated. You can see, even in this video, the phone I was using was a Galaxy S6 active like this phone was released, 1, 2014, probably 2015. So it's been a few years old today, I have a galaxy s, 9 plus, so we're chilling yeah. So let's get right into it.

So we're going to be doing three things in this video, and I'm going to start off by showing you the thing: that's going to have the biggest impact on the way your phone charges. So this might sound ridiculous, but you want to open the phone app and open up the dialer, and you're going to enter this star pound 9900 pounds, and it's going to open up this creepy-ass menu that you and I have both never seen before. So, basically, there's all these options that honestly I could not give a about except one option which is low. Battery dump you're going to make sure that is from off. You're gonna, tap it and make sure it says on so after doing that, that's pretty much it for the first step, I'm, just gonna, scroll down and hit exit, and then honestly, you should be just rocking and roll right there, but stick around because these next two steps will also have an impact on the way your phone is so the second one, you're going to want to open up settings, and you're going to see all these options.

You want to click on device maintenance. Now it's going to go through a device and check it says: oh mine is 99 out of 100 somethings happening. Basically, you just want to click optimize now, and you can see you have four options down here when you click optimize. Now it's going to clean up all four options, but if you want to specifically target one option, you can always click into it. So if I click on battery um I, actually just did this a few minutes ago, but I actually cleared 29 different apps that were open in the background right now.

It's just Nova Launcher, which is a launcher. I have so that's pretty expected, but you can just click save power, and it should save all the should basically just close out all the apps that are secretly running in the background that you don't know about. So if you click optimize, it's going to go through all four options, like I just said, and you can see one background app closed, which is Nova, Launcher I freed up some RAM no I have normal battery usage, no crashes detected, and I freed up a little of storage. So you can just tap Done and close out of settings, so the final thing you're going to do is you're going to actually power off your phone and once it is powered off wait for the buzz there. It is.

Your phone is completely powered off at this point. You're going to want to turn it back on by holding the power button. The big speed button and the volume up, sorry for it being blurry, but the volume up, the big speed and the power you're going to want to hold those all at the same time right go and once you feel the buzz you can let go, and it should open up. Basically, this random menu like what on God's green earth. Is this pretty much how this works is your volume keys are going to navigate you up and down in the power button is going to is the okay button? So you have a bunch of options.

I know it's kind of hard to see because it's a really tiny font, but you're going to want to go down to wipe cache partition, and you don't want to click the power button to do so, and then you're going to go down to yes, it's pretty much just confirming, so after you click. Yes, it's going to show up at the bottom, it's going to say wiping cache, formatting cache, wipe cache, complete or a cache quite complete after you see that you can just select the very top option with the power button, and it's going to turn your phone back on. Basically, what that just did as all the storage- that's secretly hidden in your phone, that your Settings tab that I just showed you cannot detect and delete. This will do so, so pretty much wiping the cache partition. This particular way is going to pretty much just ensure that everything is wiped and running smoothly.

So after you've done those three things, your phone should be running smoothly, and your battery should not be goofed up anymore, and you should be able to just plug your phone in if I can do it with one hand. Okay, let me just get this in okay. There we go so phone's charging now I can open up. You know good old, Netflix and watch and not have to worry about my battery, so I hope this enjoyed drop a like and subscribe if it worked leave in the comments below your thoughts and suggestions for future videos also tell me if this worked or if it's a bunch of BS, so peace out guys see the next one.
