And this is our full review of Samsung Galaxy A51 If you liked the intro then do give a thumbs up on the video and if you liked it alot then do share it with your friends. As you all know Samsung has launched the Galaxy A51 just a few days ago in Pakistan, and before this we also made a video on its first impressions. The phone, in Pakistan, is launched with 6GB RAM and 128GB and its retail and is Rs.54,000/-. And if you will buy it from offline market you might get it cheaper.

There are 3 colours launched launched in Pakistan one, as you saw in the intro, is of Black color other than that there is also a Pink colour which basically looks like a collar and one, is our today's device and my personal favourite meaning White,. I have been using the Galaxy A51 for a few days now. Lets start the review with the build quality there is Gorilla Glass 3 protection at the front whereas the back is of Plastic We have seen this "Glastic" material in the Samsung's A series and recently also seen int their "Lite" series which includes Note 10 Lite and S10 Lite, we just did their first impressions a few days ago. Basically this is made by fusing Plastic and Glass, hence, it looks liken a Plastic but its scratch resistance is better than Plastic and is more like a Glass. If we talk about the button placement then the Volume rockers and Power Screen On/Off button are added to the right side of the phone whereas there is no Bixby button on the left side, only this phone's SIM tray.

Its Bixby button is placed with its Power button which when you long press Bixby is activated. And at the bottom there is its USB Type-C port, mic, and speaker grill along with it, a headphone. If we talk about the looks for a long time now, I have been a fan of this White pearl with colourful pattern, and in the montage of the intro as well I struggled a lot to capture this White beauty so that I can show you this look. A lot of people say that in this price range there should have been a Gorilla Glass back here and I do coincide with this thing because there are some other phones in this price range which has a back of Gorilla Glass like Redmi Note 8 Pro, and even Realme XT. But having a Plastic back increases the durability of the phone.

Plastic is better than Gorilla Glass for drop protection and makes your phone much more durable. Yes! It does not have that premium look but because this is a Glastic material its look seems premium to a great extent but its durability is of Plastic and scratch resistance is of Glass so for me this is a great trade off and you get the best of both worlds. The profile pf the phone is very slim and you will feel this while holding the phone in hand and I personally like it a lot. So, the overall design of the Galaxy A51, its build, and the hand feel has satisfied me. If we get to the display then in Samsung Galaxy A51 there is this 6.5 inches of Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display which has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 and the pixel density is 405 ppi, whereas the aspect ratio is 20:9 There is this hole-punch cutout on top of the display and this is a "Defining" feature of this phone. If we talk about the quality of the display it seemed top notch to me Samsung is the world's leading OLED panel manufacturer and infact most of the other brands buy screens from Samsung.

Because of an AMOLED display the video viewing experience was great, the colours of this display are also very punchy and have deeper blacks and there is "Always-One Display" present in the phone and you can also turn the "Dark Mode" on. We are seeing the hole-punch cutout in the entire lineup of Samsung. We first saw this in S10 and S10+ and then again in Note 10+ now, it has also came down to A series and on the Lite series as well, so, now, the hole-punch cutouts are given in all the phones. There is the protection of Gorilla Glass 3 given on the display and also an in-display Optical fingerprint sensor is given inside the display. There is a quad camera setup on the back of Galaxy A51 in which there is a 48MP wide angle camera of f/2.0 aperture, a 12MP Ultrawide camera of f/2.2 aperture, a 5MP Dedicated Macro camera with f/2.4 aperture, with which you can take very close-up shots of very small objects and a 5MP depth. Along with it, at the front, inside this hole-punch cutout, there is a 32MP selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture. If we talk about the overall image quality then, I really liked it.

The colour reproduction of this camera is really accurate and the colours of the images are also saturated the colour profile of these images seemed natural to me. If we talk about the Dynamic range the performed really great here as well specially because of this phone's HDR the overall feel of the images taken from this camera seemed a little like the images from my Note 9 A reason that might be Samsung software processing, and the computational photography. Where a mid range phone like Galaxy A51 benefits from the RnD of its big brother. If we talk about the sharpness and clarity the images were sharp but I felt some over-sharpening here and there but this is a very minor thing and I really liked the overall image quality of the main lens. And if you want to take a closer look at these images I will share some of them on my Instagram as well hence, you can follow us there "@reviews_pk".

The images from the Ultrawide sensor seems quite decent because of the 12MP sensor. And while switching from the main camera you will not feel that much of a quality drop. If we talk about the macro camera then the macro camera of mobile phones surely does offer an interesting perspective. Because you can focus on any small object from very close, like in Galaxy A51 from a distance of 3cm - 5cm and the colours were accurate here, but because of the low megapixel count the images are a little soft. If we talk about the low light performance here this camera tells you where they have cut corners.

Because of f/2.0 aperture a little bit of lesser light falls on the sensor which results in noisy images and while fighting with this noise the phone softens the image quite a lot If we talk about the selfie I liked the performance here as well. The colours were really natural and and the white balance was also fine. I think when you get to the mid range price segment the low light performance of the camera often takes a major hit and we have that the its older brothers meaning Note 9 and Note 10 etc. often, the aperture is wider in them it goes upto 1.8 or 1.5 so that those sensors takes in more light and because of that their image quality is much better Now, lets look at some video samples of Galaxy A51 So, this is a 1080p video taken from the Galaxy A51. And this is the 4K video, but there isn't even Electronic Image Stabilization present here.

I really liked the colours and Dynamic range of the video And if you can stabilize this phone somehow, like put it on a table or fix it on a tripod then its video quality is quite decent. If we consider it overall, then I really liked the camera experience of Galaxy A51, I really liked its images quality, and it has an amazing colour science and in mid range price segment at this time, Galaxy A51 is offering one of the best camera experiences. Now, lets talk about its performance and internals Exynos 9611 chipset is given in Samsung Galaxy A51 which is based on 10nm architecture, along with it there is Mali G72 GPU: There's 6GB RAM and 128GB built+in storage in the phone and there's also a full dual SIM support in this phone, which means you can insert 2 SIMs and a micro SD card of upto 1TeraByte all together. If we talk about the interface then Galaxy A51, comes with Android 10.0 out of the box and on top of which Samsung's own OneUI 2.0 has been added. To judge its performance, first we will look at the benchmark results of Galaxy A51, in Geekbench, 4 the single core score of the phone came out to be 1648 whereas the multi-core score came out to be 5439, and the AnTutu score came out to be 189113.

The synthetic benchmarks like this does not give you the whole story, but does give you somewhat of a perspective. Limited to Geekbench 4, the Galaxy A51 is resulting in lower score than the competitors, where, in single core score it has performed a little better than Realme XT there in multi core performance, which is useful for heavy usage, Galaxy A51 lacks behind as well here the competitors have scored around 6000, 6,500, 7000, or 7500 but A51 is standing at 5,500. In AnTutu benchmark in which GPU also has some weightage we are also seeing the same thing there as well, Galaxy A51, with its combinations of Exynos 9611 and Mali G72, is at the bottom. But if we talk about the daily usage I did not face any issue, neither did I face any lag, nor did this phone stutter anywhere. Your daily usage apps will be handed splendidly by this phone.

If we talk about gaming, this phone will handle casual gaming. If you are a serious gamer, I would recommend you to look somewhere else, But the thing to wonder is that when I ran PUBG on this phone the game ran at high settings by-default and there wasn't any lag in the gameplay as well. Along with it, in this phone Call of Duty: Mobile ran at medium settings by-default but I also played it on High settings and the game was absolutely playable, If we talk about the sound and audio there is a bottom firing speaker in this phone the maximum volume of the speaker get quite loud, and its sound does not feels that much flat, so, the overall quality was fine by me. Only one thing let me for its performance, and that was the fingerprint sensor of Galaxy A51, it is not as sluggish as the one in A50 and A70, but most of the time it could not match my fingerprint, I also registered new fingerprint more than once, but same issue. I think there were 25% - 35% times when the phone was not recognizing my fingerprint, then I had to access the phone by using its pin which is surely an inconvenient thing and you will feel it when you have to use your phone in a hurry But ultimately for me this is a minor issue.

Now,l lets talk about the battery and charging speed of Galaxy A51 there is a 4,000 mAh battery in the phone along with it, 15W adaptive fast charge is give which for me is a little low if we look at this price rang, then Realme at this time offers 20W VOOC charging 3.0 whereas Xiaomi offers 18W Quick Charge Samsung has also given, in its A70 and A71 lineup and in Note 10 Lite 25W fast charging so, it would have been better if there was a 25W fast charging in this phone it would become a major plus point for it. But still, by considering the size of 4,000 mAH 15W seems suitable to some extent But if wee talk about the battery life, here, I am really impressed with this phone. I was getting 6.5 - 7 hours of screen on time from the Galaxy A51 if we talk about the daily usage for you this phone will give you 1 - 1.5 days easily and if your usage is light it can give you upto 2 days. And the reason for such a great battery life is that this phone's power efficient Exynos 9611 processor. so, overall the battery life of Galaxy A51 has impressed me.

If we do a little recap, I found the build quality of this phone to be quite decent I really liked its look. If we talk about the display according to me it was excellent. If we talk about the performance there it was lacking behind to the extent of benchmark, bu when we did gaming on it it ran the games quite easily it was working fine for daily usage as well. If we talk about the battery life it was excellent. If we talk about the camera I really liked it.

But if we talk overall about it, then, I really enjoyed the experience of Galaxy A51. This phone is absolutely not for those who are a hardcore gamers or are benchmark or performance junkies who wants the best benchmarks and highest scores. This phone is made for everyday users specially those users who are somewhat of a brand conscious to some extent, because Samsung has a brand name which beats the Chinese the brands quite easily. And that is the reason why Samsung's resell considered better than other brands, because its brand image is more powerful. And this the reason, why I can recommend this phone openly to others, specially this who are an everyday users who doesn't need that much of show-off overall a good looking phone which has a great profile which is fine in performance and fine for everyday usage.

According to me, Galaxy A51 provide quite decent of an experience overall, and if, at this time, in the market, you are looking for a phone in the price range of Rs.50,000/- then definitely consider the Galaxy A51.
