For years now, the Samsung brand has been known for their smartphones, maybe flagship ones, to it's entry-level to mid-range smartphones, and this year they release many smartphones to compete in the market, one of which is the Samsung Galaxy a425g. What's up guys, earl here, quick tech, and today we're going to be checking out Sammy's latest mid-ranger, the Samsung Galaxy a42 5g right from the get-go, the Samsung Galaxy a425g has a pretty chic design, and it's got this strip like pattern, and it's made out of polycarbonate, which looks and feels like glass, although it can get slippery and attracts fingerprints pretty easily situated at the back, is a quad rear, camera setup, a LED, flash and Samsung branding situated on the top of the device? Is your microphone hybrid, sim card tray on the left volume rockers, any sleep, wake button on the right below you'll, find speaker, grilles, USB type c port call microphone and a 3.5 millimeter audio jack up front. We do get a 6.6 inches display situated on the top is a drew drop notch which houses the selfie camera, and on top of that is the call speaker for the display. We got a massive 6.6 inches HD plus super AMOLED, plus infinity. U display with a resolution of 720 by 1600 with a pixel density of 266 PPI. The galaxy a425g has a 720p display that might be a dealbreaker for some people, but honestly the display wasn't that bad after using it for quite some time.

I still am enjoying binge-watching YouTube and Netflix content on this device. Hence, the resolution the display can produce vibrant images, which can also have punchy colors with deep blacks using the galaxy a40 to 5g under direct sunlight is pretty decent, although it wasn't as bright as we would prefer for speakers. The sound quality is pretty average, like any other smartphone on this tier. It is loud and crisp, but there isn't any bass present. Since it's only got one speaker situated down at the bottom of the device, I would find it relatively easy to block, especially when playing games or watching media content on landscape orientation.

Because of this, we highly recommend you to take advantage of the 3.5 millimeter audio jack for better audio quality for cameras, the Samsung Galaxy a42, 5g sports, a 48 megapixel main shooter, with an aperture of 1.8 8 megapixel ultrawide, with an aperture of 2.2 5 megapixel depth sensor with an aperture of 2.2 and a 5 megapixel macro lens, with an aperture of 2.4. As for selfies, we do get a 20 megapixel front facing camera with an aperture of 2.2. Surprisingly, images that come out from this device are pretty usable for social media postings colors are accurate and vibrant, although there is some over sharpening going on, but the overall image quality looks stunning. It's also got a wide variety of cameras, since it has sensors from ultrawide to macro lens. However, we wish that, instead of having the latter, we hoped for a telephoto one low light photos, on the other hand, show the struggle of these sensors.

Although there are some situations that this device can perform well and produce good quality images, there are scenarios where in photos come out noisy selfies. On the other hand, there is a noticeable amount of post-processing in this category. Photos come out soft and can be a little on the dimmer side, even under direct sunlight. Also, skin tones can be reddish at times for videos it can shoot 4k up to 30 frames per second and at maximum resolution. Videos are surprisingly sharp and colors are vibrant.

Do take note that there is no optical image stabilization present, but instead we have software stabilization. However, it isn't the perfect because there are jitters, especially when you start taking videos while walking the super. Steady mode comes out handy, but it produces some jello effect at times running on the Samsung Galaxy a425g is Samsung's one UI based on android 10. By far it is my favorite android skin amongst its competitor, because it is minimalist, straightforward and there's not much of a bloatware. The only thing that comes installed on the galaxy a425g are Samsung's proprietary tools like SmartThings phone manager, s health, just to name a few powering the Samsung Galaxy a425g is a Qualcomm snapdragon 755g, coupled with an arena 619 GPU up to 8 gigabytes of ram and 128 gigabytes of internal storage, which comes out standard in all variants' performance wise.

This device can perform tasks with no slouch from basic multitasking apps to handling graphically intensive games. You can run as many apps as you want in the background, without any lags. If you have the 8 gigabyte variant, this device will not just prove that it can handle any task you throw at it in real life scenarios, but also in numbers. The following benchmark results might not be very sensible to an average Joe, but these numbers will give you an extra mile of understanding of how this device performs for security, the galaxy a425g sports, facial recognition and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Although the former works well, but still, we recommend you using the fingerprint scanner because it is more reliable and secure than facial recognition powering the galaxy a425g is a massive 5000.

William hour battery with support for 15 watts superfast charging on my testing. It can last after two days when I use it for casual browsing and watching videos under Wi-Fi, but in our standard video loop test, which entails the device up to 50 brightness, zero percent volume, airplane mode turned on and constantly looping a 1080p clip. We got a total of 22 hours and 39 minutes of playback, but in our PC market work 2.0 battery test, we got a total score of 18 hours in 9 minutes. Now. To conclude this video, if you are coming from a smartphone with a 1080p display, it might take some time to get used to the galaxy a425g's a 720p display still, if you are not that net picky when it comes to the display category, the Samsung Galaxy a425g is undoubtedly one of the best smartphones in this tier.

You get a huge 6.6 inches AMOLED display, coupled with a 5 000 William hour battery that can last a day or two.
