Samsung Galaxy A32 5G vs Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G - Who Will Win?

What's going on guys, alias tech here coming back at you with another video in this video, I'm going to be doing a comparison between the Samsung Galaxy, a32 5g and the Motorola Moto G stylus 5g. These are two mid-range 5g phones. They both have some really nice features for their price range. So in this video we're going to be going over their differences to help you decide which one of them is better for you before we go any further. I do want to remind you to go ahead and hit that subscribe button. It helps out the channel a lot and now, let's get into the video, so the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g has a six and a half inch TFT display with a resolution of 720p a PPI of 270, an aspect ratio of 20 by 9 and a screen to body ratio of 81.6. We got a water drop notch up here for the front-facing camera, and this camera is 13 megapixels.

I have the brightness at 100 right now and for only being a 720p display, it does look pretty good. The Motorola Moto G stylus 5g has a 6.8 inch, IPS lcd, with a resolution of 1080p a PPI of 386, an aspect ratio of 20 by 9 and a screen to body ratio of 85 percent. We got a hole, punch design up here for the front facing camera, and this camera is 16 megapixels. So, overall, the front-facing camera of the Motorola Moto G stylus 5g, is gonna, be a little better quality. In addition to that, I do like the hole, punch, design, a lot more.

The water drop notch doesn't look nearly as clean, whereas with the hole punch, it really adds to the nice modern look of the phone. Overall, I would say the Moto G stylus 5g has all the advantages when it comes to the display. It has a significantly larger display and the resolution is higher too so, whether you're streaming videos playing a game viewing photos even reading. Everything is just gonna. Look better on this display, because for one the resolution is higher, so the picture is gonna, look better and even if you're doing something like reading, where the picture per se doesn't really matter.

It's going to be bigger because the display is bigger. So, overall, if content consumption is going to be one of your primary uses, I would say the Moto G stylus 5g is gonna, be the better option. Both of these phones are decently thin. I feel like for its size. The Moto G stylus 5g is a little thinner and this is perfect for a phone.

This is big, because since it's not bulky at all, it's not going to be uncomfortable to hold in your hand, despite the large display, the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g has 128 gigabytes of internal storage with micros card expansion and the Moto G stylus 5g has 256 gigabytes of internal storage. Also, with micros card expansion. Now keep in mind, depending on the variant of each phone you get, the storage might be different, but this specific variant of the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g is an unlocked version with 128 gigabytes and this version of the Moto G stylus 5g is the one you get unlocked through Motorola. That does have 256 gigabytes. So just keep that in mind.

That being said, of course, the Moto G stylus 5g is gonna, have a huge advantage over the a32 5g, with double the storage space now for the average user. I would actually say this doesn't really matter a lot, because even with 128 gigabytes, you're really not going to have to worry about running out of space. But if you're more of a power user and most of the space taken up on your phone is from apps, you might favor the Moto G stylus 5g with 256 gigabytes, because that is of course, an extra 128 gigabytes of space that you can use for whatever you want. Neither of these phones has wireless charging, which is not too much of a surprise, but both of them have fingerprint scanners and face unlock the Samsung Galaxy. A32 5g has a fingerprint scanner right here on the power key real nice spot for it in the Moto G stylus 5g.

Has it in a classic spot right here on the back? It's interesting that they switched it to the back. Most Motorola phones in the past have had the fingerprint scanner here, but the Moto G stylus 2021, the 4g equivalent of this phone that came out a few months ago, had it on the power key, which I thought was an interesting change. But let's give them a try and see how they work. So we're going to start off with the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g there we go one more time and there we go real fast and responsive and no complaints here, and I personally, like this placement of the fingerprint scanner a little better, just because it's so convenient you're, most likely going to be touching the power key to wake up your display anyway, so unlocking it at the same time is just real efficient. Moving on to the Moto G stylus 5g, there we go one more time and there we go.

So I would say, speed wise they're about the same. So it's really more about the placement of the fingerprint scanner, which I would say, the placement of the fingerprint scanner on the a325g is a little better, just because it's so efficient having it on the power key for the rear camera setups. Here the Samsung Galaxy 832 5g has a 48 megapixel rear camera, an 8 megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 2 megapixel depth, sensing camera and a 5 megapixel macro camera. The Moto G stylus 5g has a 48 megapixel rear camera as well, an 8 megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 5 megapixel macro camera and a 2 megapixel depth, sensing camera. So basically it the same exact setup.

Although from experience I would say the colors on the pictures taken by the Samsung Galaxy 832 5g are a tiny bit better and for video the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g can shoot 4k videos in the rear, camera and 1080p in the front where's the Moto G stylus 5g. It can only shoot 1080p in both the rear and the front. So by a small margin I would say the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g does have the advantage in terms of the camera. That being said, both of these phones do have real good camera, setups and front facing cameras. So if you are more of a frequent user of the camera and like to take real nice pictures that you can keep for social media or something like that, then either of these phones will be a good option.

But if video is among your priorities, I would say the a325g is just a tiny bit better internally. The Samsung Galaxy a32 5g is getting six gigabytes of ram with the MediaTek density 725g processor, the Moto G stylus 5g is getting 6 gigabytes of ram as well with the Qualcomm snapdragon 485g processor. I ran a geek bench 5 benchmark test on both of these phones, and they came back with a single core score of 472 and a multi-core score of 1520 for the 832 5g and for the Moto G stylus. We got 494 in the single core score in a multi-core score of 1336, so they are actually really close. But overall, I would say the a325g is a little more powerful.

If you're looking for a phone, they can do a little. More has a little more power, I would say the a325g is the way to go. Both of them are going to be able to handle pretty much the same types of things day.32 5g is noticeably more powerful, but at the same time it's not such a huge difference that one is out of the league or the other. So if you're doing basic activities like browsing the web going on social media and that sort of thing both of these phones are gonna, handle that like it's, nothing, it's going to be super easy for them and if you're doing more high performance things like gaming and maybe video editing or something like that, both of these phones are gonna, be able to do those activities. But I would say the a325g is gonna.

Do them a little better? Both of these phones have basically the same battery. They 32 5g has a 5 000 William hour battery the supports 15 watt fast charging in the Moto G stylus 5g has a 5 000 William hour battery as well. This supports 10 watt fast charging, so not a huge difference at all. The fast charging does make a difference, but really between the two. It's barely even noticeable as long as it does support fast charging.

It's not going to matter. That being said. Both these phones have really large batteries that are going to be able to handle a lot so throughout the day, you're most likely not going to ever have to charge these and then down the road. As far as longevity goes, these phones, since they have larger batteries, they're not going to wear out that fast compared to a phone like the iPhone 12 that has just over 2800 William hours. These batteries are going to last a lot longer.

Both of these phones have android 11, but keep in mind the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g does have a Samsung skin for android 11, with this little edge panel right here, and I personally like Samsung's android 11 a lot better than Motorola's. That's really up to personal preference, but also keep in mind. Samsung is specifically known to have really frequent updates versus Motorola that still does get updates, but not nearly at the level of Samsung. Another thing to keep in mind is that the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g does have NFC, but the Moto G stylus 5g does not. I don't know why Motorola didn't put NFC in a 5g phone made in 2021 doesn't make a lot of sense to me, especially considering pretty much every other phone in the price range of this phone, especially the 5g ones, does have NFC, but if contactless mobile payment services are something you're going to be using, I would definitely say the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g is the better choice, because this phone does have NFC, which means it's capable of that kind of thing, but the Moto G stylus 5g does not.

Another difference here, of course, is, as the name implies, the Moto G stylus 5g. It does have a stylus right down here at the bottom, and this stylus, I will say, is a lot better than the previous model of this phone. It was released a few months ago, but that being said, this stylus isn't really that high quality, if you're planning on doing serious, drawing or anything like that. I wouldn't say it's going to be good for that. This stylus, although better than previous versions and other phones in this price range with a stylus, is still really just having a stylus for the sake of having a stylus.

It's not going to be anything near the level of the Samsung Galaxy note 20 ultra or anything like that. So in conclusion, which one of these devices is better, I would say the Samsung Galaxy a32 5g overall has most of the advantages. The one advantage, the Moto G stylus 5g has that's really a solid substantive advantage is the display. The display is 1080p versus 720p, and it's a lot larger. So if you're going to be consuming content primarily on this phone and don't really need the higher processing power that the Samsung Galaxy a32 has for contactless mobile payment services, then I would say the Moto G stylus 5g is going to be the better device for you or if you really want a stylus again, I don't think the stylus for this phone really counts as an advantage, because I don't see a lot of use for it.

But otherwise, I would say the Samsung Galaxy. A32 5g has a slightly really slightly better camera setup and can shoot 4k videos, whereas the Moto G stylus 5g can't, and it has significantly more processing power and NFC. And then I just personally like Samsung's skin for android 11 a lot better. But at the end of the day, if you're looking for an affordable, 5g phone that has a decent amount of features, a good display and a nice camera setup, then either of these phones is going to be a great option and is definitely worth looking into. But I hope you guys enjoyed the video and I hope you found this information useful as well.
