iPhone 12 Mini Size vs iPhone X By Nick Ackerman

So, what is up guys nick here, helping you to master your technology? I do have the iPhone 12 mini dummy unit on hand here, thanks to subcase, for sending this one out. They make some awesome cases for this device. Here's a few colors a red, a purple, a black unicorn beetle. They got multiple different colors. They also have more drop protection cases, I'm going to cover that whole lineup shortly, but shout-outs to them iPhone 10 on the iPhone 12 mini.

What are we working with here? Well, basically, you can see already the iPhone 10 is a much taller phone at 5.65 inches, definitely a little taller. You know it's around 13, millimeters or so taller. So it's a taller phone going off to the sides. You will notice. The iPhone 10 is actually a little thicker as well at 7.7, millimeters versus 7.4 for the iPhone 12 mini right there now. Also, the 12 mini is not quite as wide either, so you're going to notice that you're going to go down in width and why that's important is because, in the width of these phones, that's going to make it a little easier to reach side to side when you are typing on your device, the iPhone 10 is just more to reach across now, not that it's not a comfortable phone holding these side by side.

You can see they're both pretty comfortable if you have moderately large hands, but if you have smaller hands, 12 mini being less wide will be easier to type on. You won't be having to do as much hand gymnastics as you do with the iPhone 10. Now talking about the actual weight, though it's not even going to be close. This is around 174 grams. This one weighs only 135 grams, so an ultra light device here in the iPhone 12 mini.

But overall I just wanted to give you a quick size comparison. It's also a very big design difference. So if you do have the iPhone 10, and you like the curved sides, you might not prefer this, but if you were missing the days of the iPhone 5s, this is actually going to feel like a very nice difference here now getting a little closer. If you take a look, you'll also be getting an ultra-wide angle, camera versus the iPhone 10, but we're just kind of doing a size comparison here. You'll see it really comes down to you like those square sides.

Do you like those curved sides of the iPhone 10, because you can see the mini is actually quite mini here by comparison to that of the iPhone 10. ? If we take a look at the bottom here, also again, you can really just see that with difference right there, when you take a look at the bottom, look on the left side of my hand, you can see that's where there's the few millimeters right there on the devices so overall, that's basically the iPhone 10 versus the iPhone 12 mini in the size. I think if you were comfortable with your iPhone 10, this is not going to be a major jump, but if you want to go down in terms of size, you thought this was a little too big. You might find iPhone.12 mini a great sacrifice in size to give you some new features at a really great price, because it's a much better offering at the price than this was at 9.99.
