Samsung Galaxy A20 Review

Kevin here with consumer view, and today we'll be taking a look at the Samsung Galaxy a20, it's a budget smartphone priced at 199 on Amazon. At the time of making this video, it's recently seen a price drop due to the release of the newer Samsung Galaxy a21. So we want to do is take a look at the 820 and see if it's still worth picking up as it's being sold by most cell phone providers alongside the newer a21. So let me just take a look at the a20 and see if it's still worth the money. The a20 was released in april 2019 weighing in at 169 grams, and it's relatively thin at only 7.8 millimeters running on android 9.0 out of the box. With the current update running, it can run android 10, as you can see here now.

As far as the build it has a plastic body with a screen at 6.4 inches. The CPU is an outscore with two processors. Now six of those cores are running at 1.35 gigahertz and the other two are running at 1.6 gigahertz. So it shouldn't be too much trouble, running games or mid-weight applications. You can see here, let's have a little.

Let's bowl, really quick, all right no trouble there, and it also comes with three gigs of ram and 32 gigs of internal storage. Right out the box. There is a micro SD card slot allowing up to one terabyte of external storage, so it could have the potential of storing all your pictures, music apps with the micro SD. If you have a lot of media now for the display, it's a super AMOLED with a screen to body ratio of 85 with a screen resolution of 720p, but I must say due to the screen being super AMOLED being such a small form factor, because it's a phone, you won't be disappointed with the screen and how it looks in person it's truly bright and colorful. Now moving on to the camera, the rear camera.

As far as in the rear, it has two cameras: um. The main camera is a 13 megapixel camera with a photo resolution of 4128 by 3096 and the other rear camera is a 5 megapixel, ultra-wide camera. And yes, it does take HDR photos on both cameras. Video recording is full HD at 1080p 30 frames per second with autofocus for the rear. Moving around to the front camera.

It's a teardrop shape up here at the top. You probably can't see it because the screen's black, but it is a teardrop camera, and it's an 8 megapixel camera. The resolution for picture taking is 3264 by 2448, while the resolution for video on the front is also 1080p full HD, it supports the most commonly used video formats, mp4 MV MKV, along with, of course, the most common audio formats, mp3 wave, MA, FLAC and AAC, plus port connectivity. It's uh sporting, an USB 2.0 type c. Here you can see there.

Maybe you can see that, and it also has a 3.5 millimeter jack, sorry apple. It also has NFC for paying the bills it's equipped with Bluetooth, 5.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 2.4 gigahertz. Unfortunately, on this one there's no 5g here it does have a gyroscope face unlock and a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. Battery capacity on this phone is good at 4 000 William, with a 15 watt fast charging brick. It comes in four colors, black, deep blue red and coral orange, so that was our quick rundown on the Samsung Galaxy a20.

Hopefully you found this video informative. When making this a decision between the a20 and a21, I will be doing a video on the Samsung, which I would recommend over the Samsung, a20 and 21. , so be on the lookout. For that I did use the Samsung Galaxy a20. That was just reviewed for my daily driver for about three months, and I must say I didn't have any issues with it.

I mean it is a nice phone. The price difference between the a20 and 21 is about 20, so the 821 being a newer phone and the spec is slightly better, I would say just spend the extra 20 and go with the 21. But if you're going to compare between the 20, 21 and 831, I would definitely say go with the 31, but I will be doing a review on the 31 so, like I said again be on the lookout for that share like and subscribe, and until next time take care.
