Samsung Galaxy A20 in 2020 | Worth It In 2020???

Is, the galaxy a20 worth it in 2020 stay tuned. What's up everyone, Stefan here from tech rite, I hope everyone's having a great day today. I just wanted to do a little review of the galaxy 820 um as far as 2020. You know going back on a few of the things that we've received on the galaxy a20 since I last reviewed it or made a video last on it so, so far it has really only been a good experience. Um only more good has come to this device, and I'll go ahead and explain that in a second, but just with the basic features. As far as you know, texting calling on this phone goes watching videos.

Everything has been excellent so far and that's actually gotten better. Now about a month ago, we actually received an update of android 10.0 um. We actually got this device with android 9.0, so that was a pretty big update. We now have one UI 2, which I think is working great on this phone um. So far, this phone has been running great with android 10.0, UI 2.0 and a lot of people have been reporting that as well, I've been seeing a ton of comments from different a20 users on my Instagram account and my YouTube comments saying that the galaxy a20 is running way better, and I have to agree that this device is running way better, and I'm so excited that Samsung actually paid attention to the budget users, and I think it's because this phone was so popular, and this is really why I'm making this video today now moving on to what I really want to talk about the galaxy a21. I have been disappointed with this device and I hope it does receive some updates.

It is running the latest software right now, but I hope we do have another update coming with this device. But honestly, I don't think this was a perfect upgrade, and I'm going to make a separate video on this, but I'm just going to go ahead and reference. Some geek bench scores really quick. As you guys see, I ran some tests on these devices, and it seems like the single core score on the galaxy. A20.

Definitely outworks the galaxy a21 at only 170. Uh. The multi-core score is better on the galaxy a21, but I have to honestly say the galaxy a20 and the a21 is as far as smoothness goes. They really run the same. You could play the same games on them.

Um they're, pretty much exactly the same, with this phone being a little bigger and actually not even having an AMOLED screen, so we actually downgraded from the a20 to the a21. As far as the screen goes, the screen on the galaxy a20 is better than the a21, as you guys can see here. I'm sure you guys can see that the screen is much better, especially in real life. If you guys look at the a20 next to the a21, you can figure that out pretty quickly, but I'm just going to do a very quick specification comparison between the a20 and a21, just to show you how relevant um the a20 is still today. Now both these devices release with 32 gigabytes.

I hope when Samsung comes out with their new phone from metro, that it releases with at least 64. , like we saw in the Moto G stylus and the lg style 6, I'd really like to see more storage. I don't think Samsung customers get enough storage right out of the box, so I hope that changes soon. This does have a two camera setup instead of a four camera setup like the galaxy a21 um. But I have to say, the cameras are pretty much the same um I would say the galaxy a21 is a bit better and that's probably because as UI 2.1, it has all of those new features on there and a lot of bugs were taken out with that update. Now, as far as the batteries go, these are both four thousand Williams um.

As far as the display goes obviously better display on the galaxy a20, it's going to be a 6.4 inch display, instead of a 6.5 inch display on the galaxy a21, but still I would definitely take an AMOLED screen over an LCD screen any day of the week. Both these devices still have three gigabytes um. As far as the front cameras go, the 13 megapixel camera is going to be on the galaxy a21, but we are going to get an 8 megapixel one on the galaxy a20 and both these cameras and the respect are really, really good. The saturation is very, very decent um, but honestly, it's really not that much of a bump up uh from the galaxy a20 to a21, and hopefully we see bigger upgrades with these newer devices coming into metro and cricket wireless. Now, as far as the processors go, we do have an Enos processor on the galaxy a20 on our galaxy a21.

I believe we do have a MediaTek processor, nothing against them, but I feel, like the Enos processor, has ram better on the galaxy a20. I really haven't had any problems and I really couldn't find anything to change on the a20 to the a21 unless it was going to go up to a better chipset uh, whether that was Enos or snapdragon. Now the funny thing about the galaxy a20 is it has a gyroscope sensor and the a21 actually doesn't have that. So if you play games that utilize that, or you use applications that use the gyroscope sensor such as Pokémon Go, that is not going to be available on the galaxy 821, but it will be available on the galaxy a20. Obviously, both these have fingerprint sensors.

I would have to say that the galaxy a21 does feel a little better in hand and as far as the sides of the galaxy a21, I think it does look better. The body in general does look better, it looks more updated, and I really love that hole. Punch notch so features like that have been updated. Obviously, the design language has been updated. Um, that's something we're seeing on these newer Samsung devices.

The other funny thing about the galaxy a20 is this does come in more colors. This comes in black blue gold and red, and the galaxy 21 only comes in black currently. So that was just a really quick spec comparison. Just to show you guys that you know. Sometimes the upgrades really weren't that drastic to go from the a20 to the a21 yeah guys just wanted to show you how good the galaxy a20 was now.

As far as my answer, if this phone is still worth it, I think it's very obvious. Yes, the galaxy a20, I feel, is still worth it in 2020 and if you guys actually want to go ahead and pick up this phone, I will leave some affiliate links in the comments section, as well as the description down below those are going to be affiliate links. So I will get a kickback, but it goes back into the channel um, but yeah, if you guys did enjoy this video, definitely hit that like button as well, subscribing and turn on the notification bell. If you guys want to be notified every time I upload a new video again, Stefan here from tech right galaxy 820, definitely still worth it. This has been some fun from sack right, peace out, tech gang.
