Samsung A50 vs Samsung S10 Plus Speed Test

Samsung Galaxy a 50 vs. Galaxy S, 10 Plus speed test coming up right. Now, let's go so what is up guys Nick here, helping you to master your technology, welcome to the speed test between the 50 and the s10 plus two different price categories: mid-range err versus a flagship, but let's see how it actually does, and if it's worth the money and performance to jump up to you, the s10 model boot up test. First, three, two and one see which one can get there. First and I think it's going to be the s10 plus, but we'll see what happens. Both are running Android 9 PI 1 has a 10 nanometer processor on the Left, that's the Enos, 96 10 and then over here on the right, snapdragon, a 55, 7 nanometers.

So clearly the s10 is ahead, but can Samsung phones do what Apple phones do where you know you have better processor but a similar performance? Let's see if that can happen here and wow that was actually so close on the boot up. I couldn't even tell if you guys slowed that down and seen. Let us know in the comments. I couldn't even tell it was pretty close, so I don't think the boot up test is gonna, make a huge difference for most people, ok guys. So when it comes to the Galaxy a 50, it has a fingerprint in display, just like the s10 plus.

Let's see how fast it is, though three two one, and you could see there. It goes a little of a delay three two one and there it goes so not bad here whatsoever, actually did register about three fingers to get that speed, though, on the 50. But you know, sometimes, if you don't put in the right position, you're gonna miss on both of these, but I found the s 10, plus to be a lot snappier. When it comes to you this in display fingerprint sensor, it's just much quicker than the 50 to recognize the fingerprint. So this is actually a big jump.

If you decide to go with the S 10 or S 10 plus over the 50 is how fast the fingerprint sensor is from the lock screen a lot quicker on the galaxy s, 10, plus. Let's go ahead and check out the face unlock for the galaxy, a 50 see how this one does do. Three two and one you can see, goes right in and again three two, and you could see it goes right in now. The same thing is true for the Galaxy S 10 plus, and that it doesn't have a super-secure face unlock, but it does have for a very fast recognition. Three two ones.

You can see right in again, three two one and no matter how many times you look at it. It's going to get you just about every time. It'll also brighten the screen on both of these at nighttime. If you're worried about getting your face unlock during the dark, but do not use that feature. If you want the most secure feature you can get use those in display fingerprint sensors for that regard, just wanted to show you that these are running the same exact software versions, Android, 9, PI and both and one UI 1.1 layered on top of them. So that's a perfect thing in terms of this comparison, the same exact, software's, ok guys! So we write the application portion of the speed test.

You could see everything closed out on both of them. They are connected to the same Wi-Fi networks, One X, animation across the board. Let's go into calendar three two one, and you can see that's the s 10 plus coming home. Let's go in a calculator, you can see, looks like the s 10 plus coming home, let's go into clock three-two-one, and you could see s 10 plus coming home. They come home very similar.

Let's go into settings 3, 2, 1, and you can see. Settings are first again for the s 10, plus a little snappier here for the seven nanometer chip. Let's go on Instagram three, two one, and you could see that's the S 10 plus just slightly, but you can see here that you actually do get quite a noticeable improvement in performance. When you get a premium, Samsung phone versus a mid-range err, let's go in a Snapchat three two ones. This isn't the same on.

Other platforms like iOS seems to be a little better at you know all the phones feeling similar even with lower. You know SPENT processors, but Samsung phones. You really notice a difference, let's go on Twitter and you can see Twitter just jumps ahead over the 50, so you kind of get what you pay for here. Let's go on a Facebook three two one, and you could see the S 10 plus just ahead. Let's go into jetpack joyride three two one and the S 10 plus does have a little more of a powerful GPU versus the GPU HAND, the galaxy a 50 and the 50 has a Mali g72, and you have seen that it was way ahead there for the S 10, let's go into fruit ninja and these are just casual games, so that just shows you super-powerful there we go, and again we're waiting.

So when you go with a cheaper phone, you are sacrificing a few seconds of performance here. Let's go into temper one two and see which one can load this up first and looks like the s10 plus taken the 50 again. Now that to me see now you see that difference right there that difference right. There definitely makes me feel like the s10 plus. Is worth it over this phone? Let's go into this next game, three, two one and see which one gets there first, and you see it once again that see that's what I like to see when I want to get two phones, and they look exactly the same then I feel like well might as well get that phone and the OnePlus device.

For example, one plus seven, those are cheaper than the s10 plus, and it's probably going to be faster or same performance as this. But when you go to the mid-range Samsung's, they definitely show a difference. So I have one final game: I want to show you here real racing 3 to see which one can get there first, and it looks like the s10 plus might be in the lead once again, and we're going to wrap it up here with this application launch and looks like its ahead day: 50 got some nice design, though look at the infinity you mean some people might not like that. Some people may like this and vice versa. They both have beautiful designs, but I do think that the 50 has a much larger chin, as you could see right there and a 50 just taking forever to load up in comparison.

So this is a very obvious test, who's the winner here and if you look at some other phones like Google stock phones, for example, those it could be cheaper processors, and sometimes they look just as fast, but it's not the case on the Samsung models. Okay, so let's go ahead and test the RAM management to see if we get any reloads four gigabytes of RAM here for the 50 and a little slow there to come back, but so far it doesn't look like we have any reloads wow that was pretty slow. You see me about to tap it again. Let's go into jetpack joyride here, and you can see a little slow to come back. That could just be the animation.

We could turn that down. It'll probably get a little faster, but you see right there just a delay every time to kind of reopen these apps. So the 50 you do sacrifice some performance for a beautiful design, cheap price, what a perfect screen and a fun wide-angle camera on the rear. But you have seen that wasn't super silky smooth like you might want! So let's go ahead and now and test out the galaxy s, 10 plus beginning with this game, and you can see there. We go it's going to Temple Run to fruit ninja and let's go over here into jetpack joyride, let's go into Facebook, let's go on a Twitter and let's go into Snapchat Instagram and the galaxy has ten plus again, even this phone being super powerful, sometimes doesn't look super smooth either when going back through those applications, but it's still very powerful and very snappy fast.

So the SM+ definitely feels that I forgot to do Real, Racing 3. So let's just reopen those, and you see the s10 plus had it as well as the 850, so I think the 50 doesn't our right job. It's just not that you know beautiful looking when you're going back through the reopening process, whereas the s10 plus looks a lot better in that regard. So I'm going to give the win the multitasking to the SM+ okay, so I took the same 50 second to 1-minute video here, and this is really going to test. How powerful these phones really are.

We're going to render them out to the gallery. Let's go ahead and hit save the gallery in three two one and see which one can get there. First, now take a look at this difference. You see where the s10 plus is done. Now, that's what you pay for when you get a $1,000 phone, this kind of stuff right here you have just seen it now.

Look where the 50 is we're still waiting, and we're still waiting and guess what we're still waiting and again the galaxy. A 50 is now complete. Now, if you have a little of patience, and you're willing to sacrifice that patience, I'm not, but if you are, the 50 will be just fine for us.10 plus blows away the 50 and video rendering okay guys. So you can see right here that the galaxy s 10, plus just absolutely annihilates the 50 and Geek bench- are you surprised, I'm sure you're not, but this just goes to show how much more powerful it is. It shows it in synthetic, but in this case the SM Plus also showed it quite a bit in the real world testings that we just did there you're going to open your apps every day, and it's going to be much snappier for the galaxy s, 10 plus I.

Think. The conclusion of this video is donen't be fooled by the design of the 50. It's nowhere near the powerhouse that the s10 plus is now. If you look at the flip side, an iOS phone like an iPhone 7, compared to like an iPhone 10, will look a lot closer in performance due to the optimization, but with Samsung phones. You actually need that more processing power to get that super powerful, feel the 50 s toe does feel like the mid-range phone, but it's a beautiful one, I still think an excellent value, but the S 10 plus, is the king of this speed test.

If you guys want as video helpful, entertaining and forming click that like button for me, what are your guys as thoughts? Did you think that the 50 was going to be a little closer?
