Lenovo S5 VS Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 - SPEED TEST - Snapdragon 625 VS 636

What's happening everyone, my name is Alex and welcome back to a new speed test. For today, we have the Lenovo s500 me note 5, so the Lenovo s5000 1-inch screen with the 1080p resolution. We also have the Snapdragon 625 3 gigs of ram and 32 gigs of internal storage. These devices running Android 8 with the Xiaomi Redmi Note.5 we get the 5.99 inches screen the 1080p resolution. We have the Snapdragon 636, we have four gigs of ram 64 gigs of internal storage and the device is running Android 8.1. So throughout this video we are gonna check out the benchmark results.

We are also going to check out and see which devices are fast, that fingerprint scanner and after that, we're gonna start opening the exact same apps. At the exact same time, once that's done, we are also going to check out and see what happen to all those apps running in the background. So we are gonna start with the benchmark results so on the an tutu benchmark, the Redmi Note 5 gets a score of about one hundred and sixteen thousand and the Lenovo s5000 score of about 77 thousand so fairly. Big difference on the Geek bench four: we get a fairly close score for the multi-core score. However, a very big difference for the single core score, so just based on the benchmark results.

The note 5 should be faster, and we are moving on to the fingerprint scanner test, so both devices of the fingerprint scanner sitting on the back there forum I have the mirror here, so you can see the screens and whenever they come on, so I'm going to go ahead and lock both devices, and then I'll try touching the fingerprint scanners. At the same time, let me slow that down for you, so the Redmi Note 5 was much faster for that one and just to make sure that I've done it right. The first time, I'm going to go ahead and lock the screens on both devices, and then I'll try touching the fingerprint scanner at the same time, one more time and let me slow that down for you, so the Redmi Note 5 was much faster once again for our next test. I have the same apps installed on both devices. So, first, I'm going to show you that I don't have any apps running in the background for either device.

I also have the cases and put on both devices, because otherwise the phones would gun move around. So we're gonna start by opening the exact same apps at the exact same time, and we're going to be starting with Chrome. So it was faster on the note 5 by just a bit, but the note 5 was faster to load. That page so leave that running in the background, and we are moving on to Google Photos, so kind of. In the same time, the Lenovo s54 that one moving on to the Instagram app so definitely a bit faster on the note 5 runs for that one I'm going to open my account and here we'll open a random pictures.

So let's open this one, for example, and we'll leave this one running in the background. Next we have the YouTube app on both devices so kind of in the same time, and this from the Lenovo s5000 tent, so we're going to open the exact same video on both so leave that video running in the background. Next we are going to open a pop G, so it was a bit faster on the note 5, but just a bit faster, but we'll see which device starts the game sooner. So just give it down a bit, and it looks like the note 5 on it's going to be faster for that one, but I mean I was expecting that because we have a fast that I'm CPU, so we're still waiting for that one soul pass this, and I'm just going to leave the game on right here, and then we'll move to the next app right. So leave the game running in the background.

Next we have traffic rider on both kind of. In the same time, maybe the note 5 was a bit faster for that one, but just an bit. So the note 5 wasn't faster. Let's start this game as well and kind of in the same time, but the note 5 was a bit faster, all right, we're moving on to the Google Play Store. So the note 5 was faster for that one.

Moving on to this wallpaper app kind of in the same time, for that one I think and lastly, we have the Facebook app. So it was a bit faster on the note 5, but overall, not that much faster, just a tiny bit done faster all right. So, let's see what happened to all those apps running in the background. Actually, let's just leave it like this, and we'll just start opening them from here. So we'll open Chrome again so in the same spot on both we'll open google photos on both in the same spot, Instagram the same the YouTube app the same pop G, the same I wasn't expecting that I thought they would close it.

Then we have traffic Rider. So the same, then we have the Google Play Store so the same, and we have one last one which is Facebook, so you know the same so the Snapdragon 636 is just a bit faster than done.6:25. Alright, guys, hopefully enjoyed this video. If you did like it, um press that, like button don't forget, subscribe, and I'll see you in the next one thanks for watching.
