Samsung A10s Unboxing, Specs, Price, Hands-on Review

Hi guys I'm Nicky from Grady Tech and in this video I'll be unboxing the Samsung Galaxy a 10 s. Now this is a retail phone, so you can buy both online and offline. Samsung is priced. It kinda aggressively. You can call it is. Just nine thousand pound rupees for the base variant that comes with 2 gigabytes of RAM and 32 gigabytes of storage makes waiting this price that 10,000 final two-piece for just 3, gigabytes of RAM and 32 gigabytes of storage, it's available in three colors, green, blue and black, and we have the base variant in the black claw so guys without any further release.

Let's go on with the unboxing, so guys. Here's the box! Now the box packaging looks exactly similar to all the latest, a series- phones, yes, a 50s for a quick reference. So we have the phone's name at the bottom 8 and s and at the top it says Samsung and at the center we have a quick preview of how the phone looks. Now, on the left side, we have the phone's name. Once again, that's the Samsung Galaxy, a 10.

Yes, on the right side, it's completely blank at the top. We have the most highlighting features followed by a quick look at the specifications. I'll talk more about that in a minute, so for now, let's just get on with the unboxing, so guys once you open the box. First, we have a cardboard box which probably has just some documentation, and here we go. We have a quick start guide, followed by warranty card information and, finally, regional lock code guide.

Next, we have the phone itself. Let me just put that aside for now, by the way we have the black color. Next we have a power adapter with a maximum output of 7.75 watts. I, don't know why Samson couldn't give us just a regular 10 watts power adapter. Next we have a microUSB charging, cable and finally, a sync injector.

There isn't anything over here, so no earphones inside the box so guys these are all the contents. Now. Let me just put everything aside and come back to the phone now, let me just remove the phone or just I'm, going to slide it over so guys. This is what the phone looks on the back, and this is how it looks on the front now, let's have a quick physical overview and then check out the complete specifications on the back. This phone has a plastic panel with a nice glossy finish to it and the question that I have looks exactly like a middle, because of that glossy finish, it is kinda slippery, and it's a fingerprint magnet as well.

Now, at the top, we have the camera module with two cameras, followed by a single LED flash beside that we have the fingerprint scanner followed by the Samsung branding at the bottom. We have some specifications which are barely visible. Now on the front you get that massive infinity V display with a dewdrop notch inside that notch we have the front facing camera and about that it has the earpiece below the display. It's completely plain, but the chin is quite big now for the sides on the right side, it has just the power button at the top. We have a secondary microphone for noise cancellation.

On the left side, it has a sim card tray housing to NATO SIM slots, along with a dedicated SD card slot, following that are the volume buttons now the buttons on this phone are made of plastic. They have a nice click feel to them, but I wish they were slightly more elevated and not so hard to press. Finally, at the bottom we have the 3.5 mm on UP, followed by the primary microphone microUSB charging port and the mono speaker. Now, with all that, this phone has a thickness of 7.8 mm and weighs 168 grams in hand. Phone doesn't feel all that thick and doesn't feel all that heavy Diego.

But it is definitely huge now for the specifications on the red, this one sports, a dual camera setup with a 13 megapixel primary camera with F 1.8 aperture and it to my pixel secondary camera, with F 2.4 aperture for taking portrait shots for selfies, you get an 8 megapixel camera with F 2.0 poncho on the front. It is a 6.2 inch, infinity, V, TFT LCD with HD plus resolution in the new ninth in Eastern has Patricio because of the huge bezels all around. It has 80 point: seven percent screen to body ratio under the hood, it sports a MediaTek, hello p22 processor, with power via ge8 three-two-three GPU base variant that I have comes with 2 gigabytes of RAM and 32 gigabytes of storage. Furthermore, it will be running Samsung's phone UI based on Android 9.0 powering. All this is a four thousand William hour battery.

Now this point doesn't have any fast hiding support, and it doesn't even come with a regular 10 watts power adapter inside the box, so guys those with the specifications. Now let me turn on the phone and set it up and come back to you in a second so guys. This is how the phone looks once we set it up and turn it on. I mean I turn it on and set it up anyway. This is your default launcher, and this is the default wallpaper that comes right out of the box.

This is the app drawer and these are all the applications that come pre-installed. There is a tiny bit of bloatware, and you can uninstall them later. If you don't use any of these applications. Now, let's check out the storage information so out of that 2 gigabytes of RAM. We have about 733 megabytes of RAM, free right or the box, and out of that 32 gigabytes of storage, we get about 21.9 gigabytes of space for our user apps and user data, which is kinda. Ok, considering this as an entry level phone.

Now this is a software information or the about page. This phone is running Samsung's phone UI version 1.1, just like the Samsung Galaxy m10s. It is based on Android version, 9, that's Android, PI, and right now, over right out of the box, it is a June security patch which is pretty cold. Now, let's see the camera interface now this is interface for the red camera, and it looks pretty similar to the first generation. That's the Samsung heat.

In now. This phone has just a single primary camera. This secondary camera is used for depth sensing to take portrait shots, but oh here we have a toggle by default. It opens up with the primary camera and if you click over here, it does a 2x digital zoom. Yes, it's a digital zoom, not an optical zoom, so it's just like taking a picture and cropping it.

So I will recommend you to take pictures only in this mode. Now, if we go to BD recording, we can record video at a maximum resolution of 1080p using the wave camera, and here we go. These are the settings and that's it now. On the left side, we have the live focus mode, which is portrait mode for the wave camera, and we can also change the amount of background blur effect. You want before taking a picture.

Next we have pro mode and finally panorama. Camera interface seems to be slightly slower and I never had such an issue, especially with the Samsung phone anyway. This is the interface for the front camera initial impressions. It doesn't look all that impressive. Once again, we have a toe glow here.

This is the crop mode and, if you click it over here it takes to the wide-angle mode. So this is how it looks now we did recording. Once again, we can record video at 1080p resolution using the front camera as well, and we also have life focus full of front camera. That's for portrait selfie and once again we can change the amount of background blur effect using the slider or here when compared to on the phones. They aren't many software features on this phone, specially cam related features.

Now these are some sample pictures by the way guys Samsung, Galaxy 810 came with just a single camera and offered similar features. That phone came with a better processor than the one on this phone so comparatively when it comes to cameras, this one might perform better, but in the long run when it comes to performance, Samsung a-10 was definitely better than this phone. Now, let's check out the speaker, loudness so guys, speaker on this phone is decently loud for media consumption, ringtones and alarms. But honestly, speaker didn't feel all that loud. It is usable, but I wish it was a bit louder.

Now, let's test the fingerprint scanner, I've already set it up, and here we go fingerprint scanner as fast. What phone takes like a second to unlock the phone? It's not horrible. It's still pretty good, considering the previous a10 didn't even have a fingerprint scanner, so this fingerprint scanner is pretty decent. Definitely one of the slowest fingerprint scanners I've seen in the past three months or even six months. It is that slow, so guys that was the fingerprint scanner.

Now, let's see how well the face unlock works, I've already set it up, and here we go face unlock- seems to be working really well once again, not as fast as OPPO and via phones, but still definitely faster than fingerprint scanner. So, in good lighting conditions, it is pretty fast and usable. So, let's test it in low lighting conditions, even in low lighting conditions, it is pretty fast. It kind of depends on the lock screen wallpaper also, so it works really well even in low lighting conditions. Let's test it in complete darkness in complete darkness, it's struggling.

It didn't even work. I'll try to bring my face a little closer to the phone, and it works. So why is in good lighting conditions and relating conditions facing lock works, but in complete darkness it struggles a lot in mostly it misses now before. I conclude, these are the anti ? benchmark scores so guys this is the Samsung Galaxy a 10 s. Now, when we compare it with the Samsung Galaxy 8 in this one definitely has a lot of cool new things, especially this fingerprint scanner that I really appreciate, but it's not a great phone either in this price segment.

We have a lot of cool options, mainly the Samsung emptiness, which is a way better phone than this one, and we also have the BYU 10, which offers a lot of stuff in just nine thousand rupees. So at a price tag of nine thousand. Finally, rupees I really don't see why anyone would want to buy this phone with that said, if it was Samson fan, and you want to buy a Samsung phone, then this is a pretty good phone as well. It is definitely better than Samsung a10, so guys. What do you think about this one? Do you think it's pretty good for a Samsung fan or even a Samsung fan thinks this is pretty bad?
