Apple Watch Series 3 vs SE - Which One is Worth It? By John Ee

Hey, what's up guys john here and welcome back to the channel right now we're taking a look at the watch series 3 as well as the brand new SE. The time right now is, and we're going to be taking a look at them in depth and see exactly what is changed, and is it even worth it to pick up the SE over the series? Three. So let's just go ahead and jump straight in so first things. First you're going to see that the size is very different: uh 38, millimeters versus 40 millimeters and you guys will see a lot of internal changes as well. Uh, it's going for 179 for the series 3 versus 299 for the SE. Now I'm going to end the video eventually telling you guys exactly which one is more worth it to me, but for now guys, let's just take a look at some exterior changes so over here.

You guys will see that the crown is just a little different on both of them uh, just putting them side by side. One is just cut a little more than the other, so the SE here gives you guys more grip when you do try to slide it, as well as the haptic feedback that you'll get when turning the crown, whereas this one right here there is no haptic, and you will see that it is just a little more shiny on the interior side of it now another thing on the side here you will see it as different. Is the microphone has moved over to the right side compared to on the left side on the series 3, as well as the button? So, just taking a look at the side button itself, you will see that it is more flush on the SE versus the series 3, not that that makes much of a difference, and if this was on your wrist, nobody would really know that you have the brand new aqua watch instead of the older one, and even with all the changes aside, you will see that the Sirius 3 is just a little thicker than the SE, so you guys can really tell how much apple has upgraded the internals, as well as the exterior, to make it just more comfortable on your wrist. Now, since we're just talking physically here, we're going to see that the sides are a little. Different.

Microphone has shifted over obviously on the other side uh, but the speaker has gone a lot bigger, and this really shows is roughly about 50 louder than it was on the series three now just flipping it on the back side. Here you will see there is a very big difference. You see that we do have four led sat the back versus one and an array of sensors here, uh, which just keeps track of everything within your body. It just looks a lot more sleek on this one versus this one, but realistically guys once it's on your wrist, you're really not going to know what difference. If you guys do, take a closer look here and it is especially noticeable in person.

This one right over here seems like it's just made and covered in plastic, whereas this one does have a whole ion sapphire glass back here. So there's no way of damaging this versus this over here now in terms of specs. Both of them are water resistant up to 50 meters underneath the water- and, as I mentioned here, 38 millimeter versus 40. So there is a small little change there and overall guys it's practically the same when you're looking at it from the outside, so just flipping it over. Here, as I've mentioned, the screen is a little bigger coming from 38 to 40 millimeters.

You will see it in the side app such as maps as well as third-party apps. That do take advantage of the edge to edge, so we'll just jump straight into here and then here we'll click on location, and this is where you're going to see uh the SE, take advantage of the entire screen versus the series. Three. Now that's quite funny when I said series three, you see that it did activate so uh, uh. It's really listening carefully, but we're going to jump quickly out of here and let's talk a more little bit about the dimension, so just slapping them side by side.

Here you will see that it's substantially smaller in terms of the width and thickness of the SE versus the series three now, of course, this equates to just better fitment on your risk and overall just a better when you're just jogging about and while we're talking about jogging inside here, you will see a better accelerometer as well as an always-on altimeter. So if you guys are fitness geeks, you guys will take advantage of the SE over the series 3. Now after talking about all this, let me know in the comments below which one you guys think is more worth it right now. You guys will see on Amazon that is actually going for 169 dollars versus 299, so that's almost a 50 or 100 more of value for what you're getting guys honestly for what it's worth. I know a lot of other channels would say: go ahead and jump for the SE, but not all of us are making wicked amount of money right here is the perfect Apple Watch right now you can go to an Apple Store, pick it up to series 3 and do practically everything the SE can do as well guys.

The series six is really not worth it and that's my personal opinion uh. The blood sensor, who is gonna, be using that I don't know but uh for those that do use it go ahead with it. The series three is the perfect watch as of now not much difference than the SE and there we have it guys. This is my opinion and I hope you guys enjoyed it.
