Samsung A02s vs Samsung S20 FE speed test . David vs Goliath By Serby Waffles Tech

Hey guys welcome back to my channel uh today I kinda want to do a speed test uh between the Samsung Galaxy a02s and the Samsung s20 fan edition uh. This should be fascinating. Uh this one right here. The h02s is a budget device. It's actually the most entry-level Samsung available right now, uh it comes with a snapdragon 450. The Samsung s20 Fe comes with the snapdragon 865.

So this is a flagship processor. This is a 2017 processor from 2017. So it's about four years old right here, so this processor came out in 2020, so let's go ahead and boot these phones up and see which one's gonna load up faster all right. So let's go ahead here. One two three go now: I'm going to assume that the s20fps could have boot up faster all right now they both have a 6.5 inch display uh, the a02s is running uh. Both of them are running android 11.

The a02s has only two gigabytes of ram. The s20 Fe has six gigabytes of ram. So that's going to be a huge difference here, all right, so the s20 Fe is going to get there faster. As we suspected all right and the a02s is not that far behind, though all right, I keep forgetting my pin guys. Oh, wow again here we go again all right.

Let me go ahead and adjust the brightness here all right, so that took a few seconds longer all right, let's go ahead and adjust this brightness at full. All right! Let me do the same thing here, all right, all right, we're good all right! Now, let's go ahead and start off by opening up the phone app one. Two three go all right, so the s20 Fe got there faster. No surprise, there messages one two three go all right: s20 all right: let's go to uh, which one we're going to go to now: let's go ahead and open up the uh, the camera count of three one, two oops one, two three go all right: he has 20 all right now, let's go ahead and open up play, store one two three go all right: s20 he's got that, but actually you know what I'm really surprised, because it's the a02s is actually kind of not too far behind here all right. Let's go ahead and ROG mail one two three go.

I mean you wouldn't expect anything that this phone is going to be faster than this one. But then it's not, but it's not that far behind I mean for the price difference that you get on both of these devices. This is six hundred dollars this one. You can pick up for around a hundred dollars. So um are you getting five times faster speed? I mean for basic apps, not really, but you're, probably going to get more uh better performance.

Once you start going into more complicated, apps and games all right, let's go ahead and open up settings. One two three go all right: now: let's go ahead and um open up a let's open up a web page here, all right, let's see which one should we open up here? Let's go to uh one two three go to samsung. com, and this is where the difference is going to happen all right. So let's go ahead and make that our default all right. Now, let's go ahead and um.

Let's see if we have a game here that we can that both of these phones have here, so let's go ahead and check out. If I have temp around here, I can do that one here somewhere here there should be temple run okay here we go one two three go now. This is where the big difference should lay no. This is exactly where you're going to see the difference, and it's not even going to be close all right, so they both got there, and this one probably got here about 10 seconds faster. So let's go ahead and play this for a little all right now.

So let's get out of that game. Now you can play temple run on this game, no problem, but you can't play pub g or anything more complicated, but other than that I mean look, some very basic phone guys all right. So, let's see what else can we do here? Let's go ahead and open up YouTube. All right. Let's go to YouTube here.

One two three go all right, so the s20 is going to get there faster and the biggest difference here with the s20 guys. Is this refresh rate, which is amazing? I mean this one's going to have stutters and lags when you're when you're scrolling. You know it's, not the Wi-Fi isn't going to be the best, but the scrolling on the s20 Fe is just superb 120, her refresh rate just does it so here we go. Let's see how this one is. So it's going to have some stutter, but it's its not that bad.

I mean look if you're. If you're going to spend a hundred dollars, you can't really complain and expect to have top of the line. I would say you know what this is. This is decent, I'm actually very um. I'm pleasantly surprised.

You know, for the price point I mean remember: I paid 30 35 for this phone. You get this on Amazon, Samsung right now, samsung. com for 35 dollars. If you trade in a device um an old iPhone um, you know if you're just sick of it, and you want a new phone. You know.

There's no reason why you shouldn't get this phone and um other than that guys. I mean, I think it is what it is you get what you pay for and um so far, not bad at all. I mean this phone a couple of years ago. Furthermore, I mean it would be a perfect phone and to this day right now, it's still okay, you're going to get three years updates, maybe on this phone Samsung updates all their phones so other than that guys hope you enjoyed this video. You know if you want that fee.

This is probably the flagship mid-ranger to get uh. It has IP rating. It has wireless charging you're not going to get any of those bells and whistles here, but other than that, you know what. Why not. I mean to be honest with you if you're just looking for a new phone just to do basic tasks, I would definitely pick the a02s all right guys until next time.
