S20 FE 4G vs 5G | 5 Reasons why S20 FE 5G is so much better

This is the s20 Fe 4g, which I've been using for the past six months, and this is the s20 Fe 5g, which was released in India just last month. Both are exactly the same right. So what's the difference? Well, externally, both phones are completely identical. So same displays same speakers same battery same cameras, but there is a big difference in price. Also, 5g is not here in India right now, so going for the 4g model makes more sense right wrong. There is one big internal difference which changes everything s20 Fe 4g is powered by the Enos 990, whereas s20 Fe 5g is powered by snapdragon 865.

So in this video we'll see how this one difference gives us 5 reasons to go for the s20 Fe 5g. Now without any further ado, let's get started reason number one is obviously in the name itself: 4g versus 5g, yes, 5g isn't available in India right now, but it should start rolling out in less than a year and, unlike some other 5g phones, this one comes with a lot of 5g bands, so the s20 Fe 5g, is definitely future. Proof. Next reason is the difference in raw performance in benchmarks. You get around 10 percent, more performance with the 5g variant, which is definitely felt in real world use as well.

Here is a 4k 60 fps clip recorded with s20 Fe, which I have slowed down by 50 in Adobe Premiere rush. Now I am exporting it in 4k 30. As you can see, the 5g variant completed the task faster. Even with gaming, you can clearly see higher frame rates with a 5g variant reason: number 3, sustained performance difference. Sustained performance is even more important than raw performance, and here you'll see the biggest difference between these two phones.

This is 3dmax stress test which lasts for 20 minutes. Let's see what kind of stability we can get all right. As you can see, there is a massive difference between the sustained performance. The 4g variant basically goes from hero to 0 in this test. While the 5g variant remains unaffected, you can notice it even while gaming, as you can see here, the frame rate is just slightly lower than the 5g variant.

Let's see what happens after 15 to 20 minutes yep. This is how bad it gets. It's basically unplayable on the 4g variant, whereas the 5g variant is running it without any issues whatsoever. Next is the thermal performance, so when a phone gets hot, it becomes uncomfortable to use, and it has a negative impact on the health of internal components, including the battery. These are the temps before running the end, to do stress test now, let's run the test and see how hot both these phones get all right.

The test is almost done. As you can see, the 4g variant gets much warmer than the 5g variant. In fact, the 4g variant occasionally gets warm even while doing basic tasks like scrolling through the Instagram feed or watching YouTube videos that should be unacceptable for any phone and especially a phone costing close to 50 000 rupees last, but not the least battery life. Both phones come with a fairly decent 4500 William hours battery, so the battery life should be pretty good on both phones right again wrong. The difference here is a big one.

I ran the PC mac work 2.0 battery test on both phones, and these are the results. As you can see, this is not a small difference in the real world. This translates into having to charge the 4g variant multiple times in a day, while the 5g variant makes it through the day quite comfortably, with just a single charge. Alright, so, as you have seen, there is a massive difference between these two phones, even though the spec sheet is virtually identical in day-to-day use. The 4g variants, constant heating, throttling and poor battery life is quite annoying.

On the other hand, the 5g variant just works flawlessly Samsung shouldn't, have even bothered with the 4g variant and given us the 5g variant with snapdragon 865 in the first place. So to conclude, if you are looking for a great all-rounder phone under 50 000 rupees go for the s20 Fe 5g, don't even bother wasting your time on s20 Fe 4g with Enos 990, even if you are getting it for much cheaper, all right, that's it for the video hope you enjoyed it and found it helpful.
