Redmi Note 9 Pro Unboxing & First Impression, Glacier White! By C Butler

Hey, what's going on guys, it's your boy serrano, and I'm back with another video today, we're going to be talking about a brand new smart device which I'm pretty excited about now. Redmi is known for their cameras and their performance at a really cheap price. So let's go ahead and take a look at it right now. But if that sounds like something that's fun to you make sure you ring the notification bell and get notified also, if your new join the crew, so let's jump into it right now, we're going to start out with what comes inside here. So as you can see this box right here, which has branding here- and it tells you right off the bat that you're going to be getting easy access to google apps- you use the most right here, so it does have the play store. Let's go ahead and cut open the box and right here you can see that they do give you a little of information.

They tell you that it's a six gigabyte ram model, 64 gigabytes as well, so that's actually cool, and you can see they do offer a lot of different colors for this model, but I think that the glacier white, so let's go ahead and take a look at it. Okay, so that's actually cool. Let's go ahead and see. What's in the box right now, we're going to lift open the top portion. First, let's go ahead and take the device out get some contents inside as well.

So inside the box, you got your large brick, let's lock this in. If you wanted to use it, but let's put that off to the side inside here you do get type c. Cable put that off to the side. There's nothing on here. So let's go ahead, see what's inside this pamphlet right here, because this is going to have something in it.

Okay, so we get a case which is kind of cool uh you get to get your user guide. You also do get your right here. It says you know, warranty information and a clear case that you can use. Let me just show you what the case looks like jelly case clear all around with the square cut out, so that gives you an idea what the fingerprint is going to be on the left. So let's go ahead and check out the device, I'm going to put all of this right off to the side and let's go ahead and check out this device in a little more detail.

So right here you can see it says: Redmi Note 9 pro am I me, so then you can see right here: the 64 megapixel, AI, quad, camera setup, 60 mega pixels in display front camera. You get 30 watts fast charge, a fit 5020 William hour battery type, the Qualcomm snapdragon 720 g and eight nanometer processing chips. So this is actually crazy right here. This is up to par with my honor 9x pro, which also does have the 8 nanometer processing chip. This does have a 6.7 inch, full HD, plus dot display with side mounted fingerprint sensor. So let's go ahead.

We're gonna, um, peel off this material. That is wrapped around the glacier white Redmi. Note 8 pro all right. That was cool, so let me just ready here you can see the quad camera setup right here, and you get some a really nice array of cameras. You can see a really squared off camera cut out with a 64 megapixel camera right here.

I'm going to peel this off. I like to take everything off of the phone right there, and then this has a really nice material on it, and it still feels like the same material that the Redmi Note 8 pro has. If you haven't seen my video on the Redmi Note, 8 pro should definitely check that out. I have a ton and a full catalog of videos there for you now you can see that the fingerprint sensor we're going to give that some juice right now, and they do put a screen protector on here with the cut-out at the top. This is a cut-out.

It says Redmi by x, by Xiaomi right there, you get the volume rocker right above the fingerprint and power button which is kind of cool and then on the left side, there's nothing except for the sim chain remover at the top. It looks like we're going to get the uh IR blaster for controlling electronics, as well as a noise cancellation mic, and you get the earpiece right here. It says: meet mini 11 life gets easier, so let's just go ahead and go to English, and you can see you do have English right here, United Kingdom, and you do have uh English at the top. So let's just click next and select region we're going to click next, and then it gives us the option to set up. You know the Wi-Fi network.

This has a really nice weight to. It feels really nice minimal fingerprints are on the back of here, but it has that glacier white color. So let me know down below how that looks in the video. I think it looks pretty cool um yeah, but I'm definitely feeling the weight on here. I'm definitely looking forward to testing out the performance on here.

So you can see it's asking me for the sim card, but we're just going to skip that and put the sim card in the next video so make sure you stay locked in for that and don't you know, go anywhere, but let's set up the fingerprint, and you can actually set it up with a pattern password or pin. So it says, do you want to remember not now, so you can um, it says: remember your lock screen password. If you forget it, you'll have to erase all data on this device and contacts and then set a new one. So it says got it all right. So let's set that up all right.

So I'm going to set up the um pattern that I always set up. Click continue. Do it one more time and then click continue one more time, and then it says add your fingerprint so just um. So it's actually on the side, so you could start with either finger. I'm going to do my pointer since it's like right there, and it vibrates every time with a really nice haptic feedback engine, so the whole actually feels like it's vibrating right now, which is kind of crazy, so that actually feels pretty cool, and it lets you add the same fingerprint twice, so you can get there.

You go boom, continue, select the theme classic or limitless. Let's go with the uh classic bow so that took really quick to set up. This is a really fast phone to set up. Actually, it says: you're welcome, you're all complete, and then it says it's going to be loading the apps and now, let's take a look at this, I do like that punch hole cut out at the top with a 16 megapixel camera in it. This is like a really nice cutout.

In my opinion, it's not too distracting, and it gives you a really immersive screen. You swipe up. You can get your Google feed right here when you swipe down you gain access to your notification, feed um! Furthermore, you can see right here. It does have all the stock things that it usually does. Has NFC me share and the dark mode as well screencast hotspot everything like that, so let's just go into settings, and I'm going to show you what software we're actually going to be running on and when you do that you can go here down below, or actually it's at the top.

I forgot this is different with this device, and then you can see the android version right here, and it's actually on android 10. , but make sure you stay locked in with me because I'm going to be doing a gaming testing with cameras and everything like that. Even compare this to the old um Redmi Note 8 pro that I do still love and use and that one's actually running on android 10 as well but um. This is a beautiful 6.67 inch display with quad cameras, a really nice 720 g processing chip. You could play games like Fortnite Call of Duty, uh you're going to be able to capture some perfect scenery with the 64 camera.

It's an AI camera, and it's a quad camera setup. So let me just go into the camera or the phone just test out. The fingerprint sensor too many attempts. So let's see, let me open up the camera real, quick and show you guys what that looks like, but I don't see one right now, but I'm going to take a look at that in the next video we'll have more time to look at everything, but everything looks spotless and quick on this device. So far, let's test out the cameras and see how those look uh, it says: welcome to the camera, you can tag your photos with locations and, let's click allow that, because I definitely like that feature and then uh it says you could scan documents, you get the 64 megapixel, the portrait, the night mode, the panorama, the pro mode, and you even get pro mode on video, so you'll be able to manipulate video with pro mode on this phone.

I think that's really cool guys um. This thing does also record in 4k. It looks like so let me just go into settings: 1080 30, 1080, 60, 4k, 30, 720 30. , so they give you 1080 60 on here at 4k30. So I think that's pretty cool guys.

A lot of camera features on here, really beautiful, display uh beautiful color on the back and just feels good in the hand nice weight to it.
