Redmi K40 GAME EDITION MIUI 12.5 GAPPS update NOT LOOKING GOOD πŸ‘Ž

Hi guys it's Frankie from Frankie tech good to see you guys again, and I'm here to share a quick update on my time with this k40 game, enhanced edition and guys. This is a great phone. Let me get, let me tell you it's. It's got a lot of good things going for it and, of course it's a k40 series phone, so you know a lot of the design. A lot of the experience has been similar but, of course, I've loved the display I've loved the performance. I just ran actually the an tutu benchmark on this phone and got a pretty incredible score, 688 000.

So all of that is good, but this is more of an update guys about the Google situation on this device, because this morning I've actually attempted to use the same method. I did for the black shark 4 pro, and that was a top secret method that I can't reveal to you guys how I did it, but let me just explain this method. Basically, is another way to try to get the Google apps installed and to kind of bypass. The previous method that I used, and I use for years guys I've been doing this for a long time. So I know you guys sometimes comment saying well try this out.

You know likely the method that you're going to send me. I've done it before I've done it. I've done these hundreds of times, and so this method basically was a bit more successful. Furthermore, I was able to get the play store from not closing up and there you see if it's ready to sign in so what happens when I go to sign in you seen that nothing doing guys, and so then I also tried in Gmail. So here you see Gmail, you go to add an address, and you can add any of these other ones.

You can go see. It'll go to yahoo it'll go to outlook, but now let's go to google. Let's see what happens see that so, even though google or g apps are installed now on this Redmi k40 game, enhanced edition- it's not going in guys- and this is about as close as I've been able to get once again, I will show you guys right here. Going to chrome, so you go there, you see sign into chrome. You go to the page, which I'm sure you've all seen before, and you click in add account a count, nothing guys, and so I think for me this is kind of the final proof.

I needed to basically figure out that this phone, this k-40 game, enhanced edition with the demand city 1200 on board, does not support google apps, and this was the exact same method. I used for the black shark 4 pro and once I'd gotten to this point with that phone I would easily be able to then get in to google apps for the phone. That's not the case here with this phone, and just shout out been chatting with my man lamp, and he also just told me he went to a forum and was reading about this and basically discovered they were saying in that form a china-based form that this phone will not support. Google apps, so you know, take it from me. I've heard some twitter comments, and I've heard some people saying: oh no, but it will.

You know, there's people working on it. Maybe they're working on it, but as of right now, this phone does not support google apps and so as it relates to like importers, like I said yesterday as it relates to being able to review this phone thoroughly, I'm not going to be able to do it now. The positive news is, of course, there's still some apps. You can download, and I've used this cool APK app to download, for example, twitter. So I am on Twitter here with this phone and, of course I loaded gentian impact as well, and, of course, an tutu was downloaded directly from the app store the Xiaomi app store, and there you see the results very impressive indeed, so, overall guys a bit of a bummer here for the update here on this k40 game.

Enhanced edition- and at this point- oh, you guys want to see DRM info l3, so it just leads to more kind of confirmation. I'm sure this would not even pass the um. What's that test called uh, it's like oh, the safety net test, which would then thus confirm that this thing is just not gonna work with Google Pay or any of that any of that stuff, as well so a bit of a bummer, but I do have gentian impact downloaded, so stay tuned guys. Tomorrow, I will be doing my final review on this k40 gaming has edition. I do not plan to keep this phone guys much longer, but there are some things I do want to play around with this phone, especially just sharing that gaming experience on it and, of course this is mini 12.5 0.1 there you see it. So if you guys did want to see there, you see 12.5, if you guys did want to see a review or my top five features, as I did for mini 12 of 12.5. Hopefully I can do that later this week as well, but hit me up in the comments.

What are your thoughts on this k40 game, enhanced edition? And what do you think I mean at this point? China, imports are gonna, suffer man, but I think that's the point. I don't think Xiaomi wants us buying these china release phones anymore, and it makes a lot of sense because the pricing on these phones is very different from the pricing that typically happens globally, but ultimately it's also more about the user experience and right now you know, besides being great hardware and being able to silo some apps. This is a pretty crummy user experience not being able to kind of get into the review of this device, and I, as a reviewer the way I use my stuff. I need these apps and I need YouTube and I need YouTube studio. I need all the apps that I typically use day to day to share my real experience of a phone, but anyways hit me up in the comments.

Furthermore, I'd love to hear about it and that's it for this video. If you liked it give me that thumbs up and if you love the content of Frankie tech subscribe to the channel hit the bell icon for future updates, thanks once again guys beautiful day here in Hong Kong, and I'm feeling much better today. So do appreciate all the comments I'm feeling better, and the bird is definitely feeling better as well. So that's it- and this is where I leave you by saying this- is Frankie tech signing off have a good one. What a bummer guy! I really wanted to spend some time with this one, but it looks like it's not going to be the case.
