Razer Phone 2 unboxing - Android 9.0 Pie update - on sale for $500! By 5after12

So Amazon and Racer both had like the one day or two days sale and that's maybe three days, so I, don't know it was day two when I bought it was $500 Best, Buy master price, the first one wouldn't I had to go to two separate Best Buy's, the second one they had talked to the manager. Someone your sucks gave me that idea. It's cool little note here. It's a really nice presentation here right, so you should check that out right outside this nice piece of paper. We have the box, says flagship gaming, which is cool and honor. If this video, the gaming phone I'm recording this on the gaming headset build Hyper, that's neat: that's attached.

Like a little book type thing, it doesn't come out, there's a little tab to get the phone out savvy a lot of packaging in here stickers. I won't be using it's a nice little box, a book quite the hefty material for this little packaging, and this is easily the world's coolest sim ejector tool. That's pretty neat I set that aside, and hopefully I don't lose it because I, really like that. Nice quality charging block very nice packaging, a cool little swirled I got going here, there's a dongle which sucks it has to have that but I. It's weird that the deck is in here as well.

That's not really a positive, because if you lose this in your headphone, won't sound was good. Here. Is a braided USB, see the little green insert? That's pretty cool I like that? That's nice! So we're big fan of the size of this monster. Just for comparison. Here's my LG v, 20 I'm, recording this on the note 9.

So you can't see that here's, my 1 plus 60, so you can see how much massively bigger the razor is, which again I like a lot of reviewers kind of had that's a negative, but I like the boxy size. My guess is, but I mean this is a 5.7-inch screen. This is a 6.4-inch screen, so you can see the fact that it's- and this also has a case on it, ring, so they're sure all your buttons there's your SIM tray, where your fingerprints in step back and then there's the USB port, and this indents like a power button, so I go and the very cool animation that is a cool-looking home screen. Let's get started, it's an agreement, I'm, not a lot of words. There don't know why I go up all that.

Currently, mice am I. Still in my note, 9, which I just update a PI, so I'm going to skip that all right, right now. That spot is very small I like to adjust that I don't want to my date. I want to do a fresh start. Let me sign in alright once I sign in the first thing asked me you do is set up my fingerprint I'm going to do fingerprint and pin, and we'll see here my start-up now, I've set my pin.

Now we got to touch this sensor, which is on the side here right, see, I'm just trying to see how well it reads it by just the light. Tapping here seems pretty good, really I'm glad my thumb is well, of course, because I'll probably use most time yeah, I'm I had this finger as well. I think I'll probably use it when I'm holding it like this. I now got that all set up. Let's move on to the next yeah I, don't like using voice stuff all right.

There goes your initial setup. Let's check out the initial home screen I, don't have a Racer ID because I, don't have any recent products, I'm gonna great one, all right so when it starts out evil, weird Netflix, widget right off the bat which I don't care for, and this LI installed four out of four apps there's already a software update available live green stuff. Let's go settings are out the back, and we'll see where you're at what system, what version you're on around the boxes on October 5th security update, Android 8.1, so this might have been like a brand new one. That was just never sold, I, don't know but says the manufacture date on the yeah I don't see manufacture day in the box. So let's go right ahead.

Yeah! That's that's just tiny! Take like, for example, you can see how I normally have my stuff set up. So, let's go to you can see how big I normally have things compared to they obviously see the screens. Obviously much larger I mean they said a lot of screens on here on the OnePlus, but I like the sixteen by nine there's a strong chance. This razor is the last sixteen by nine flagships, so I don't use. The OnePlus succeeds.

My main driver I'm, using the note 9, but I'm going to switch to the razor of course, I'll change that font to be more to my liking. I know some people like to see how much some people like to see how much storage is there so currently right out the box reused in sixteen point, seven four gigs out of 60 64 I'll be putting a sim micro SD card in there as well. So it's not that big deal to me alright. So, let's just go ahead and install those updates. Let's go to settings system about phone there we go system update, let's go ahead and download install it! That's the $9 9.8 right off the bat! So that's good I'm going to go through incremental updates. I assume razors had an update since prior to this one, so I'm, assuming that just doesn't want one since that make me go through them one by one, which is cool.

So let's download and install that all right. So now it's optimizing! Apps Oh should have security updates to the fifth. That's going to have digital! Well, being just your navigation. Don't care about battery I. Do care about all right! So now that's still taking a sweet time to optimize apps I'm going to go through and mess with my settings.

This is way too small for my big hands. Cranking breaking this off. Oh, oh, there's a night light, I'm going to do that just a little blue light. Filter I like that I was leaving one buff that screened up to that 120 Hertz. So I can see that all the fuss is about wallpaper.

I'll change later this place. Us just for reference, I, usually use this place. Size, large and font size large, so I'm going to do large there, and we had to change our font size to large crank that display resolution all the way up since little pop-up here I said I'm setting this guy up fresh, so I don't need that. I already did that. So, let's just check out the wallpapers like that Doubleday.

Alright, that's a much better font size. Much more usable I wish I could make this section a little bigger the old buttons there. I guess! That's why the gesture swipes will come in for some folks, but I'm, not gesture swipe any gasps. That's a lot of data! Let's take a long time! I didn't check what time it was when we started it's now, 6 a. m.

it's not really it's 5 o'clock. so while we're waiting, I'll show you Amazon fairly inexpensive. This protective case for razor phone -. It's made directly from razor. It's got nice little arrow, telling you how to open it.

That's neat very simple case, just like merely just a thin shell, somewhat flexible. Pretty rigid, though, it's got the perfect cutouts for all your necessary important, some holes like that, oh yeah, since this is a glass backbone, it does add a little grip on that plastic there, and it covers the camera hump. So I like that. The bottom is nice and open. So you can get the unfortunate problem.

No problem blocking this hole actually makes it easier to find both the volume controls and the power button. Still updating this. The note 9 updates, took about 30 minutes, that's probably about the same timeframe here all right, so we got it here. Also keep in mind. This is a fresh install, didn't have any apps installed.

On my note, 9 I had 154 apps there we go classic Racer logo cool little intro, it's not making any sound, I, don't know it's supposed to it's really cool-looking I'm, not sure how well that comes up on video here, but as a very neat, little intro still not huge enough for those numbers. I wish they were a little bigger. Keep in mind. This is a fresh. Install.

I haven't installed any apps, yet this is right out the box. All I did was sign in and so well my note 9 I had 154 apps installed, so I don't know if that takes that longer. I want to have an update, because it's got optimized that many apps, or it really is irrelevant or other than a couple seconds. All right now, I made some noises you can see. Now has a little gesture notification guy there I don't like that.

I do like how it is a vertical drawer. Some cool sounds there. Oh, I see not like those gestures. Am I sticking in there I already a more colorful? Look here gestures there we go so now. I'll turn that off I got me back there.

So make sense, don't know that. Does that make sense all right, so, let's just check the old system updates. All right. That's pretty good! All right sing, so you start off with G board right off the bat yeah I, don't know, there's any other options: yeah just G board, I'm going to put Swift Key on there, probably, but all right so there. It is now check it out.

It's pretty cool I'll do a deeper dive a little later on. I almost forgot this part something up like a green red color. Maybe wait. Does anything.
