Razer Phone 2 Is HERE! PSN Name Change Is a Thing and More!

Today in the news we get a new generation of phone, an alleged new generation tablet and a new series of cooler. What's up guys, I'm snows- and this is your boot sequence. Before we start, let me tell you about memory Express, the first boot sequence, sponsor they're, based here in Canada, and offer a complete price beats guarantee not to mention their stores in Calgary, Winnipeg and Vancouver, which are a great place to try out all the lives peripherals for yourself before you buy them check out their online shop in the link below and thanks again memory Express all right. Let's talk, phones, razor, just unveiled their razor phone too and honestly, it's kind of my dream: Android phone I love the format of the display, the bezels for the speakers don't bother me at all, and it allows for a great speaker system. I, also always liked the design which was mostly ported from the next bit Robin. The only thing I don't like is the lack of a headphone jack, but I kind of got used to it with my iPhone 7, with this new iteration, the razor phone to bring everything back and adds some great features and improvements.

First, the phone is now water-resistant with an ip67 rating. The camera sensors were also switched from Samsung to Sony, and the assembly was moved to the top middle for a more symmetrical look. The front camera is also 8 megapixels now, and it shoots 1080p video. Apparently, the camera is also great for face cams during your game streaming sessions on your phone, the back of the phone is now glass, and it allows for a wireless charging. There's satin black finish version on the back.

It looks really nice. The internals were just a bid to the newest standards like snapdragon, 845, 8, gigabytes of ram and everything else every flagship has nowadays. The only feature I didn't think was absolutely needed, was the RGB logo, but hey. Sometimes you need to do some fan service it launches at about $100 more than the original at $7.99, which is still expensive, but you do get more out of this than the pixel 3, thanks to like the hundred twenty Hertz LCD, which was also updated to be up to 50% brighter and more accurate for a better experience. I do have to say that Google has an edge when it comes to the software, though I was a little disappointed that the razor phone didn't come with Android 9, but hey.

What are you going to do? So? What are your thoughts on it still too expensive for a flagship device? Let me know down below. Let's move on to in case you didn't know some iPad Pro leaks have surfaced, and that new device looks different. First is the format of the unit. Apparently, this new iPad will not make use of a home button allowing for either a smaller device or overall, a bigger screen within the current frame. This doesn't mean that the device won't have a bezel, though, since no home buttons does mean the use of face ID.

It looks like, instead of just a notch, the bezel will be big enough to include all the cameras and sensors necessary to make it work. Can you imagine an iPad with the notch? Damn that would be ugly. USB is also on the table, which would make it the first Apple device to run iOS with this type of connection. Apparently it will feature a display connection through USB-C for 4k HDR. The new device could be revealed during an October event, so stay tuned for the updates.

Then we have Sony, which will officially allow PSN name changes. Finally, I mean it seems like Sony is always late to the party on some of these simple things. The feature will start with a round of beta testers and should be available next year. Name, changes like in a lot of other games or services will be free for the first change and costs $10 for the following ones: $5, if you have a PS Plus subscription, if you're a part of the beta testing, just note that some games might not support the name change because of the way PSN manages them. You can also choose to display your old name alongside the new one, but if you do that, you won't be able to revert to just showing your new name, it's finicky, but it's mostly like that for the beta test.

Only once all the testing is done, will you switch your PSN name? Let me know down below I'd love to know by the way the PlayStation classic is up for pre-order now, and it will be available on the 3rd of December. Just thought I'd. Let you guys know if you want to buy one now in gaming peripherals, we have a Kickstarter campaign from Cooler master. The Kickstarter is for their control pad device, which is basically a standalone customizable gaming extension of your keyboard with full RGB. It's 24 keys with mechanical switches from either cherry or Gator on it has two rollers on the top for volume or whatever else you want to bind it to.

But it's the most notable feature is what they call their aim pad. It's basically pressure sensitivity for the keys, allowing you to, for example, steer a car properly using your keyboard or move at different speeds in fps I. Personally, really like the feature, because I hate, the jerkiness of movements and games like GTA when I'm driving a car or even when I'm playing fps I mean sometimes I want to walk slowly without having to crouch. They say that this will work with most games that have controller support, which is great, but if the game doesn't support it, while you're just back to a regular old on and off switches, the early bird price is set at 75 dollars, which is pretty affordable, but we don't know what the MSRP will be. Just yet speaking of Cooler master, the hyper 212 Eve gets another refresh with their Black Edition series.

It will be available this month, one with an RGB fan and the other with a standard black fan. What I like about this refresh is the new top plate. I mean brushed aluminum and those pipe caps makes it look pretty sweet. The non RGB version will be $35 us, while the RGB version will support a $10 premium. Honestly I'd splurge the extra $10 over the regular hyper 212 to get that sweet black finish.

The fan is different, though so I'd wait to make sure that it's as good as its older brother I hope somebody's going to test it Dmitri Ever I'll, put you on that, and that concludes today's video. Hopefully, you've enjoyed don't forget to give a little visit to our friends over at memory. Express click right here to see the latest video and right here this abstract to the channel. It would be greatly appreciated, I, don't know what it is today, but I can't seem to read from the teleprompter. Alright guys take care, stay, frosty, and I'll see you on the next one.
