POCO M3 vs. POCO X3 In-Depth Comparison. So Which Should You Buy?!

Hey guys welcome back to another video with LIM reviews, so in today's video we'll be checking out two devices repeated hit to hit here uh on my left, I have the Poco m3 and on the right I have the Poco x3 NFC all right. So the reason why I'm doing this video is that I felt that both devices are actually very, very good devices for the price that they offer and the Poco m3 actually starts at 499 ringgits here in Malaysia and the Poco x3. On the other hand, here starts at 7.99 here in Malaysia, so very good pricing here this is probably the best device you can get under 500 ringgits here, and this is definitely the best device you can get under 1k all right. So in this video. The main aim of this video is just to show you what you can get with that amount of money and whether you should add on a little more money to get the Poco x3 NFC over here all right next up. I just want to talk a little about that display.

So obviously this is a budget device right here, but the good news is, we still have a 1080p display on the Poco m3 here, and that is amazing, because at this price point most devices or most manufacturers are still offering 720p displays, even at higher price points. So 1080p on this Poco m3 here is actually pretty good. It's still a standard 60hz display IPS, so not to expect anything too much there. I did stick on a Mac screen protector, as you can see here. Just so it looks a bit nicer.

This is just my personal preference, all right so moving on to the Poco x3 here we are having a better upgrade in such that this is a slightly larger display. So if I just put this side by side, you'll notice that the size is a bit bigger on the Poco x3 right here, apart from that, we also get to enjoy 120 hertz display on the Poco x3. So that's definitely a very, very good, plus point here. So again these are both great value devices, but you do get 120hz high, refresh rate on the Poco x3 NFC very good. I love this thing because it is just so smooth and very fluid all right.

So moving on to the next point, let's talk a little about the performance, so in terms of the processing power, the Poco m3 on my left here comes with a snapdragon 662, whereas the Poco x3 here comes in with a 700 series, 732 degree snapdragon processors. So, obviously again you can see here that the Poco x3 here comes with a better processor, obviously with the higher price point. Another thing that I did was do a benchmark test on both devices and let me just share with you the results very quickly all right. So if I just put the results side by side here um, you can see that we have a 309 for single core score on the Poco m3 and 1 353 for this m3 device, whereas on the x3, we of course have higher results here on the x3 NFC. So let's just put down the benchmark scores for now and just talk about day-to-day use for the m3 here like I said this is a budget device.

I did feel that there were a lot of stutters apps doesn't really launch very quickly. In my previous review, I did say that the apps launched uh pretty decently, but occasionally I do face some starters here and there, especially when a lot of apps are actually already being launched. So it is not the best experience on the Poco m3 here, definitely very, very good for the price for 500 ringgits. This is a very good performance on the Poco m3 right here. But yes, I must admit that occasionally uh quite a number of times.

Actually I do face a lot of stutters, especially when launching apps, uh and closing them or whatnot so notice that it is a bit slow here on the Poco m3, whereas on the Poco x3, the experience is completely different. I'm having a great experience here, of course, paired together with that 120 hertz high refresher display performance is just, I would say, pretty quick on the Poco x3 here everything launches quicker, there's no likes no stutters. Everything is just battery smooth on the Poco x3. So if you're, just looking for that pure performance in terms of gaming as well, obviously the x3 here really excels with almost any games. You can play it at good graphics settings, whereas the Poco m3 here.

I noticed that you can't really enjoy a lot of games, especially mobile legends, those high graphic ones, but those basic games. You can definitely still play it on the Poco m3. Alright. Moving on to my next point, let's talk a little about the cameras that we have on the back here, so notice that we do have a one sensor shot on the Poco m3, but for 500 bucks you do get a 48 megapixel main sensor, a macro and a dev lens, which uh to be honest, is not very useful. Whereas on the Poco x3 over here we have a 64 megapixel main sensor.

You also get a 13 megapixel ultrawide sensor, so that's really the additional sensor that is really useful for you. It also comes with the same pair of 2 megapixel macro and 2 megapixel dev sensor on the Poco x3, so yeah all right. So that's just the numbers, but in terms of real world performance I must say that the camera performance on the x3 absolutely blows the m3 out of the water. It is so much better on a Poco x3 here, not just in terms of daylight shots, especially night modes. You can definitely see a huge difference with the Poco x3 here taking excellent shots at night, even with minimal lighting around the Pogo m3 does a fair job as well, but again for the price of 500.

Ringgit you're, definitely getting a lot of camerae for the phone itself, but if you're just looking for way better quality, both consistent quality at night and in the day, you will definitely have to go for the Poco x3 over here. It's just a great camera on this budget device all right. Moving on to another point here before I close uh, that is the speaker. So very amazingly, we have stereo speakers for both devices. Here I mean for a 500 ringgit device right here.

It is absolutely good to have stereo speakers on this device. So, okay, it's not just standard stereos, because the sound quality coming out from this Poco m3 actually blew me away, because the sound quality was perfect. I really did not expect that coming from a device this at this price point. Yes, so you do have stereos, because both at the top and the bottom sound quality is great. It's way better than a lot of devices above its price range, so on to the Poco x3 over here.

This also comes with stereo speakers, and they're, both very loud, but in terms of just the m3 versus the x3. I would say that the sound quality is a little different, so we have a little more of bass, I would say on the m3, but in terms of audio clarity, I would say the x3 takes the cake, so both devices come with great stereo speakers, but it really depends on which kind of audio you prefer, regardless both are great all right. Moving on to my final point- and that is the battery capacity all right, so the Poco m3 here comes with 6 000 William hours of battery, and this x3 comes with a 5 000, something yeah. The point here is both have huge batteries that will last you more than one day on one single charge. So, surprisingly enough, although the m3 has more battery capacity, it is actually lighter than the Poco x3 right here.

This could be. This could be possible, possibly due to the materials being used. We have plastics all over the Poco m3 and this might be glass or glass stick or something like that, but yeah. The battery is definitely great here. One more thing to note here is this: Poco m3 only comes with 18 watt fast charge, whereas the Poco x3 here comes with 33 watt fast charge, so getting your battery charge on the x3 is definitely way quicker than on the m3.

All right, I think that's pretty much it in terms of the hit to hit and comparisons between both devices right here, I think, at the end of the day, it really depends on your budget. If you only have 500 ringgit- and that is as much as you can go, the Poco m3 here is probably the best device you can get for that money because you get a 1080p display, you get a decent camera. You also get a decent processor. Everything is decent on the Poco m3, but if you can extend your budget a little more just by 300 ringgits and of course you should definitely mostly consider the Poco x3 over here, simply because it just offers so much more compared to the m3, not just in terms of the design, which I absolutely both love on both but sheer. In terms of the performance, it gets a way better camera an additional ultrawide sensor, a decent battery as well, and that high refresh rate display and, more importantly, that stronger processor that makes everything on a daily smoother for that better user experience.

So yeah, that's pretty much it for my comparison between the polo, m3 and Poco x3. Thank you so much for staying till the end, if you have any questions, feel free to leave them down in the comment section down below, and I'll. Try to answer every one of them: alright, guys stay safe, and I'll, see you guys in the next one bye.
