Poco M3 Pro 5G unboxing: behold, the world's most affordable 5G phone (€159)!

Hey folks welcome to another day another unboxing I've got the Poco m3 pro 5g here. As you know, this is a follow-up to the Poco m3, which I unboxed a while ago and in terms of specs, it's almost identical to the realm 85g ion box last week, so check that out so yeah. Here we go Poco m3 pro 5g get some eye maze on the bottom here, nothing in the back that took a second. So I don't have pricing yet, but I'll put it up here at the time I'm making this video. I don't know the price I expected to be around 200 euros.200 pounds 220 us dollars about the same as the realm 8 5g. So let's get started, we've got a divider here.

It says: Poco inside are a sim removal tool. The usual polo, goodness stickers, very important manuals and CPU case nice to have those gets. You started when you need a case, so flexible CPU, nothing too, fancy all right manuals, we've got warranty card, don't care, we've got safety, information, don't care, and we've got the quick start guide, but we do care about that. So it's in multiple languages, and it shows you the phone and, as you can see here, you've got either micros or NATO sim, but not both. So that's good to know, and that's about it, here's the phone.

It says: MediaTek dynasty 700 with dual 5g 90 hertz 6.5 inch display. You see the similarities here with the realm 85g 5000 William hour battery same thing, 48 megapixels, triple camera same deal all right. So that's the phone, and I'll get to this in a minute got another divider here and, of course, all the charging stuff you'd expect. So I presume this will be an 18 watt charger. Let's find out I'll leave this up and put it there now, there's also a cable- and this is presumably a type, a to type c.

Cable. Yep all right! Now, let's look at the phone. Okay, let's take this out of its little shell and remove the'm a sticker. So this is a pretty cool design check this out nice right like this little cutoff here. So you know, I don't think this is glass.

This is probably just plastic, but it's made to look like glass and like it has like a second panel, but it's seamless. You can see that from the reflections big Poco logo designed by polo, your camera pod, triple cameras, flash and then the frame is unabashedly plastic like the Poco m3, it's just molded matte plastic, and I like the fact that I'm trying to hide this as plastic and make it look like metal. You can see an infrared transmitter hidden in here next to the secondary mic at the top headphone jack. On top on the right hand, side you have the volume, rocker and power lock key on the bottom. You have the speaker USB type c and primary mic and on the left-hand side you have the sim slot and micro SD tray pretty standard layout.

Let me fire it up now. The power lock key does have a built-in fingerprint sensor, as you can see here, and this display is a 6.5 inch, IPS LCD with 90 hertz, refresh 1080p right so pretty much identical again to the realm 8 5g, so they're definitely going to be competing with one another. Aha, we've got this in German bitter button change it to see. If we got English United States as an option there you go. That makes more sense right.

Okay, so I'm not going to set this up. You know this is just an unboxing, but I wanted to show you the screen. Let's talk about this front facing camera, it's an 8, megapixel, camera f of a 2.0. I don't know the pixel size or anything, but it does 1080p. Video again what's interesting is in the back.

So we've got three cameras here, no ultra-wide, sadly, but we have a 48 megapixel f of 1.8 0.8, micron phase, detect autofocus main camera, and then we have two 2 megapixel foo, 2.4 depth and macro cameras. Again I hate to say this, but realm 85g pretty much identical. So that's the setup and again this fingerprint magnet of a back panel, so storage and ram configuration you've, got 64, gigs and four gigs of ram or 120 gigs and six gigs of ram. So basically pick your poison, but you get UFS 2.2 on this in terms of storage, speed, which is nice and, as I previously mentioned, micros expansion is available too MediaTek domains, c700 5g once again and no ultrawide, though so that's kind of disappointing. Frankly, I was really hoping that they would include an ultra-wide, but hey you can't get it all so folks, that's it.

The Poco m3 pro 5g here I'll put this through its pace and let you know on the podcast what I think this should be a very affordable phone with 5g, so stay tuned for price. Again I'll put it here if I find out, so I hope you like this video please like subscribe. Tell your friends, click! The notification bell below. Tell me in the comments. Would you buy this? Would you buy the realm 85g? Would you buy the realm 75g, which is, I think, a better option at the same price point than these two phones? So let me know I'd be curious and remember.
