Poco F3 Unboxing and Initial Setup By Cruisn Canada

So we've actually reviewed the Poco m1 and the Poco x3 pro, and we had gotten a lot of people asking if we could do a look at the new f3 and well here's the x3 pro so the f3- and this is- I want to say right now. I think it's like poco 's's, like flagship and especially um, processor, wise and gaming uh looks like it's going to be a killer so yeah. This is the x3 pro, and we really liked this. This one was like super nice right, but we're going to put this over here, but Poco f3, it's here uh, so the folks over at Poco sent this to us. So we can take a look which thank you, Poco um, and we're gonna. Take a look at the f3.

We're going to take a look at first off like their specs and everything on their website. I'm kind of going to do this in two videos. So this one. What we'll do is we'll unbox it we'll see what comes in the box, which is kind of important, and then we'll just run through its uh original setup and then that'll that'll. Be today's video, so you guys can get an idea of what it's what it looks like and then what I'll do is I'm going to play with it for like the next week or so, or at least the next couple of days, we'll see how excited I get and uh we'll do a little review video at that point, all right coming up all right guys! So here 's's their website, and you can see right now: uh the Poco f2 pro uh Poco m3, polo, x3, NFC, Poco x3 pro and the Poco f3 now uh.

This one here, of course, is the f3 and there's the f2 pro versus the f3, and I still think, there's a few features in the camera side of the f2 pro, especially in the fact that I believe the f2 pro actually shoots 8k. Now it shoots it for a limited time, probably due to heating. But if you're looking for that 8k, you might want to look at that ftf2 pro. But here's the f3, and you'll see the real beast and this one is supposed to be like for those of you that are doing, especially in like mobile gaming, so 5g snapdragon, 870, nice and fast 120, hertz, AMOLED, Dolby, Atmos, dual speakers, the real beast, yeah, processor, specs, 3.2, gigahertz, nice and fast experience, speed with 5g and Wi-Fi 6, which is good liquid cool 45, 20 William battery should give you a nice amount of time and, of course, 120 hertz refresh rate. This is awesome here.360 hertz touch sampling rate. Now I thought the touch sampling rate of the actual uh x3 pro was awesome, uh this one's even faster, because the sampling rate on the uh x3 pro is 240 this one's 360.

So it's going to be like super like instant responsiveness, uh e4, AMOLED display you're, very cool. There's all your specs right there. If you want HDR 10, which is really nice um whatever this is cool, powerful, yet slim right, and it does come in a bunch of colors. I actually have no idea which one I got triple camera, and we'll do especially in the next video. We will do a comparison, we'll actually take the m1, the x3 pro and the f3 out to do some uh camera comparisons, so kind of cool night mode, yeah, yeah, yeah and uh triple microphone array.

It's you guys can come here, take a look! It's just polo, so PO. co PO. co, very, very smart, right, PO. co and purchase-wise. Just you guys, know um right now on AliExpress it uh, it all depends, I'm guessing which one you get anywhere from about 350 U.

Here it is Poco f3 uh 5g connectivity will vary based on local operators capabilities and that's that's pretty much standard with all you know.5G networks, simple box, got the yellow on the bottom, so this one like, if you put it up against the x3 box, it's you know, x3 pro, it's the same kind of box right so curious. All right. Let's just do this.

I don't like. I said I have no idea what color I got so Poco excellent. Let's just see what comes in here. My guess is: there's your sim card removal tool, yep your Poco stickers, just like you get with the other one, your manual, so there's your manual and like uh. One of these is like your like warranty and safety measures and all that kind of stuff.

This one here is yeah user guide, so a bunch of different languages. Of course printing is tiny. Just so you guys are aware. If you're like, I actually want to read this, you might be taking pictures of each of the pages just to just uh, just to throw it out there. This is your USB type c to three and a half millimeter headphone adapter, so that just be realized, don't go throwing that out.

You know, because you kind of need that that's important you do get over here, just like they all come, which I love. Actually you know the m1 came with it. The x3 pro came with it. It's just a nice little clear, clear case designed for the phone we'll put that on yeah. We will that's going on there for sure.

Don't lose this because it's got your sim card tool in it so put that back in the box once you're done with it. That's that's going there somehow yep that's down on the floor for now and what else do we get we'll lift this up here? Somehow, oh, is it like this? Thanks for helping us choose, that's excellent, and we get a nice USB-C, cable, USB-C to USB-C, and we get their killer.

It just realized- and I don't know if there's something that will change down the road uh. This is a massive. It's a massive uh power adapter this thing because it can charge like I can't remember, like 30, we'll go through the specs more in the review. Part of it. Can I even read that no, I can't read that that's way too small, but comes when the power adapter comes with a superfast power adapter, but realize for those of us sitting here in North America uh it comes with like a European style? Is that a big deal yeah? Not really not? For me, um storage, you get um, here's the different colors right, so deep ocean arctic white and night black, I'm guessing.

I got the night black uh storage and ram there's a 6 gig 128 gig versions and an 8 gig 256 gig versions, here's all the actual specs of like the display and how bright it is, and a church et cetera, et cetera. There's your processor uh 33 watts. So that's what this is 33 watt fast charging, so it actually comes with this, which is fantastic and there's your camera information. If that's something that you're interested again we're not going to go too much in NFC supports Google Pay nice. The one thing that I never see on these and I it's its something that I'm maybe they're just like yeah.

No we're not going to do. It is um any kind of wireless charging, so all right, but there's the big charger which I love. I love, love. I love big charger, so it's fast charging all right put all that stuff over. There don't lose it, and I'm pretty sure, that's it right.

Nothing! Nothing! More! Empathy, empathy, box, okay and the star of the show the Poco f3 right. It gives you some specs on the front. Just to that's. That's nice, hey! You guys can see that hey! Isn't that nice, oh yeah, hoc, now just realize you know they got this really nice gloss to it. I have to say, but also just you know, means just kind of a fingerprint magnet.

It is what it is. You can't have that kind of color without it. Now, if you were to put this up against, I have my x3 over here. I'll take the case off it same spray. The x3 came with the same kind of case.

I just want to see just physical appearance wise all right, so you can tell even that's kind of smudgy right. This has got more of a nice piano black versus this. This was it's black too, but it's its got some weird name to it, but it still gets a little smudgy. The camera array is definitely different here, um, but screen size and everything is identical to each other, see how smudgy that is this one's already getting there, but we'll do that. We'll do more snooping around between those two in the next video all right.

So, let's crank it on crank it on crank. It turns it. You know what I'm saying all right, so we're going to hold this down see if this turns on there. It is polo, and we are going to hopefully see some uh or an easy and easy follow-up. My guess would be that it's going to be very similar to like the x3 pro as well as there's a nice little 5g, as well as the the m3, so just a sec.

I'm with you yep very good me 12. , we're going to come down here to find English U. S. , even though I'm in Canada right Canada, very good, uh, yep, very nice user agreement, oh hit the little dot there, and you should be able to go this very fairly fast. I'm not! I don't actually have a sim card in here.

So I'm gonna just go past this, and we are going to just connect to this network here, and I'm going to put a password in you guys, don't get to see this, but the keyboard and everything is super responsive which is nice. You would think so with that fast of a processor in there uh connected excellent next getting your phone ready. This may take a few minutes. Maybe not when it's this fast. You know um and my guess is I'm going to be able to move my data from my other uh.

I'm going to bring this closer. This is this. Is the x3 right here. It's very smudgy right because I've been using it a lot there. It is copy apps and data yeah.

I want to do that, and I'm going to back up from an old iPhone or sorry an android phone. You can back up from like google cloud, and you can also back up or restore from an iPhone device, but we're going to do it from an android, and I think that may just actually come up here. I don't know open the Google on your old device now. The other thing to be aware of is, if you have other google stuff in your house, to unplug them or get it in a different room, because it's annoying yeah they're, all listening. Okay, google set up my device all right there you go, does set up your other device, your iPhone, your phone's Bluetooth, will be turned on if it isn't yeah.

Okay, I'm with you searching for other devices connecting nice verify the shapes. Yep continue. Yeah, copy verify due hit your password uh. This is your unlock password, okay, so not like you're! Necessarily your Google password. I don't think yep copying your accounts happening here, gotta sign in on this one.

Now all right, yeah! I like this keyboard, it's very it's very, very fast. Right almost done all right, this one says I can close, which means I'm just gonna kind of move this over to the side, confirm your old Poco x3 screen, lock all right just pop that in there now all coming together. Did I get it right there we go, and I want everything? So I'm everything's checked yep restore off. We go. Yes, I want all of it.

I want all of it all of it. I want this to be that continue, yep, just a sec. Oh, it's doing the Google Assistant stuff right now so because I've done that before it's just moving it all over. So your assistant can already recognize your voice yep smart now for those of us that are concerned with privacy and all that please read all this doesn't just hit next like I am I'm not that I'm not concerned, but because it's restoring I'm, you know I don't put a lot of stuff on these phones to start with, because they're really like testing phones, all right, my hey, Google is ready anything else. No getting your phone ready.

So really, if you're moving from uh google account if you're moving from another android device like this, is like superfast to do like it's. What is it five minutes? Maybe you know um now. This is just getting everything ready so be aware of that, because the restoring part can take a bit longer because it's gotta move files right. It's going to move. It says about two gigs worth of data, so that can take a bit of time depending on what your signals are like, so I'm gonna actually set up a password and for my fingerprint, so I'm going to put a pin in their yeah a lot of yeses.

Are you sure I kind of like that? Actually, because it's like please just take the time to read this not like me where I'm like but read it right, got it I'm going to put in this, because this is important and then confirm yep, and then you add your fingerprint so figure out how you're going to hold it. I'm going to hold it like this and then you just kind of do this a bunch of times. Now it's a side. One which I like, and you don't have to just have one fingerprint you can put in multiple depending on so that you can do after move your finger, yeah, I'm with you, but the thing to be aware of- and I always kind of talk to people about this. This is not because it allows you to put multiple fingers.

Fingerprints in I'm always like. This is not for you to be, like I'm going to put me in my my my partner or my spouse, or I'm going to put me in my kids nope. It's its your fingerprint right, because it's supposed to identify you so and that's really important, especially for security. There's all your updates and stuff, like that. I want all of it: yep you're ready to rock.

I do like that because I am ready to rock yeah. You guys know that always ready to rock yep. All right setup is complete and look at that pop good um. So right now it should have even like all my Wi-Fi, passwords and stuff like that in there, which is super cool um. But I am going to go real, quick just in the settings here, and you can actually see right about the phone has an update.

Your system. Apps has uh, have updates uh. So I'm going to come in here right, it's going to check, there's going to be a new version of this, so we definitely want that. So we're going to do that at some point and system app updater lots of this- and this is just the know- Xiaomi and the Poco software right. That's getting updated! So make sure you do those and of course you want to go into because I'm restoring.

You also want to make sure that you go into your play, store and verify there, because if you click on this yeah, I'm with you, you can actually see you my apps and games, and you see I have a ton of them that need to be updated right because it moved them over. So it's not actually pulling necessarily, I think, new ones off of it, because if there are some that are on the phone already, especially the all the Google stuff um, this phone has probably been sitting in the box for a month or so somewhere, and these have all gotten updated right. So we're going to do all the updates and then what we're going to do is we're gonna we're gonna. Do a video number two video number two that'll come up, probably in a couple of days or a week um. It gives us enough time to actually play with the phone um and we're going to test it with uh, just responsiveness, we're going to test it uh, especially the camera.

I want to test the camera for sure we'll play a couple of games on it to see how they respond and uh we'll give uh we'll give a final thought so make sure that you uh, like comment share, subscribe hit. It's going to be good, because I really was a fan of the x3 pro. So this is just better right. Everything that the x3 pro better. So how can it? How can it? How can it not be better right, um?
