Poco F3 hands-on and key features

Hey, what's up guys will here for GSM arena? This is the Poco f3 and true to the Poco name. It brings a bunch of high level features for not that high of a prize is this: the flagship killer we've been waiting for, let's go over his key features and find out. Poco has just launched two mid-rangers, the x3 pro and the f3, while the x3 pro does have a lot to offer. The f3 is a bit pricier and is the more premium device rather than plastic. It's made from gorilla glass, 5 and the back is curved near the edges. The glossy finish is shiny and mirror-like, and the phone feels overall quite light and thin in the hand.

Right now, the Poco f3 is going for about 350 euros, 100 more than the x3 pro. So besides the glass back, what does this phone offer that the cheaper one doesn't one upgrade? Is the flagship grade display it's a 6.67 inch AMOLED panel, not an LCD. It's got a fast 120, hertz, refresh rate, a 1080p resolution, gorilla glass, 5 protection and HDR 10 plus support a unique feature here is that the panel has a 360 hertz touch sampling rate higher than we've seen on dedicated gaming phones. So, along with the smoothness from the high refresh rate, the responsiveness here should be unmatched and gaming. Performance of the Poco f3 should be awesome thanks to a flagship grade.

Snapdragon 870 chipset, it's more powerful than last year's snapdragon, 865 plus, and it's an upgrade over the 860 and the x3 pro having higher clock speeds and support for 5g connectivity and with a cooling system that includes a copper heat, pipe and graphite layers. The thermal management should be great too. There are some other nice features here that are shared with the x3 pro like a pair of stereo speakers for your audio with Dolby Atmos support and the Poco f3's cameras are largely the same too. You get an identical 48, megapixel, quad, Bayer main cam and 8 megapixel ultra-wide. The f3's 5 megapixel tell macro cam, is something different though, and there's no depth sensor here on the Poco f3, you get the tried and true mini 12 interfaces over android 11.

, it's quite clean and intuitive waking up and unlocking the phone can be done with the side mounted fingerprint reader slash power button, there's an IR blaster, which allows the Poco f3 to interact with certain appliances and there's support for NFC for connectivity and wireless payment. The polo, f3 and x3 pro come with the same 33 watt fast charging. However, the battery capacity is smaller here at 4 520 William hours. There are a couple of features missing on the f3 too, for example, there's no 3.5 millimeter jack for headphones, and while you have 128 or 256 gigs of storage on board, it's not expandable. So there you have it guys.

The Poco f3 looks like a pretty nice deal, 350 euros for a gorilla glass phone with flagship level specs, except for maybe the cameras. I am curious as to how the battery life will hold up too. Let us know what you think about the polo, f3 and I'll see you soon with our full review. You.
