Pixel 4a Gaming Test-Fornite,COD, Forza, Stadia and Xcloud By Lawrence Simms

It's game time, what's up everyone back again with the video and that's right today, I'm going to test out a little gaming on the pixel 4. So let's see what it can do without further ado. Let's get this thing started all right guys, so we're going to start with a good old Fortnite. I got my Xbox One controller right here. I was going to use this thing right here to clip it on there, and you know, have a smartphone in there. They have a little more of an enjoyable experience, but it wasn't working on my favorite and filming.

So I'm just gonna. Does it like this? Let's get this thing started all right. So let's check the frame rate and see we have settings okay, oh so yeah! It's only maxed out at 30, fps yeah! I guess yeah. I mean I'm filming this video at, but this is only showcasing uh 30. , so the team going with the squad going over here.

No, I'm not even going to follow the squad right now, because this is a gaming test and I just we just want to see how it played- and I said, 30 fps. So it's not it's not what the iOS offers, which I believe is up to what 120. But I mean it's not bad. So far, I'm panning around things are looking pretty, pretty smooth. Oh, somebody right here we have to we got a guy right here.

Let's see, I'm not I'm not bad already. Yet let me go get a weapon. A Gaza! Oh cool, oh open up! Yeah! I got one two asses, it's probably so wrong, because I'm playing with a controller wow that was stupid on your behalf, wow what happened wow! I was just getting into it too. What a bad angle! Okay! Well there you guys, have it Fortnite, pretty good, pretty smooth um, 30 fps, I mean honestly, I don't. I have to have a side-by-side to really tell, but when you're not having a side by side, you can't really tell a difference.

Let's do Call of Duty mobile now this my jam right here. This is what I like to play: Call of Duty mobile team death match. Yes, man. I was really getting into that for tonight to see I played with the controllers. I'm pretty sure it was unfair.

Yeah, we're just controlling pretty decent see. Is there? Can I change the uh, let's see x, for settings, let's see what the graphics say? I have graphics frame rate high. Let's put it on max frames, realistic, bring it so yo, I'm just gonna, leave it on high settings. I mean high uh graphic quality. All right, I put it on the max frame rate, so we're going to see laid them all out.

It's cause. I got the Xbox controller, oh, they got me and okay, so I mean it. It's smooth. I think I want to say: Fortnite was maybe a little smoother with me with the controller, but it's not bad. It's not bad.

You see how easy it was. You know when I got those three people so got one right here, all right. Okay, so this is it for Call of Duty Call of Duty runs pretty good, and you know, let's do a trip, so this is it for Call of Duty Call of Duty is running pretty good. Let's do a temperature check, though let me see how it feels a little warm slightly warm, not too bad, not not too hot. All right, right here we got forza street.

I've never played this. So we'll check this out. I don't even know if it works with the controller, I'm assuming it does, but then I oh it needs me to do it fine. Well, I would hey, hey. I don't think it works with a controller.

Maybe I have to get past the stage. Let's see so far. Fora is pretty, pretty good smash that so let me try to control it again see. Maybe if I had to just get past that first stage, so I'm just not. I guess you have to play this, then I guess that's okay, um all right, so that is it for forza.

This is the okay game. I should have downloaded asphalt, but yeah, I'm just going to go straight to stadium, I'm going to go straight to the project x, cloud or Xbox game pass so stadium. I have 2k, and I have motor combat 11, so we'll start off with motor combat 11, because I don't want the video to be too long and the cool thing about stadium game pass is streaming. This is going to display some really great graphics, because it's streaming, it's not using the GPU, which is a pretty awesome thing. Let's just go to fight.

Let's just do a local um, oh yeah, it's tiny! I really think that's tiny on this might need up the brightness, though. What am I going to pay? This is so I can all right guys. Let's do it! Oh, yeah! This is really smooth um, I'm sub-zero getting me, but I got you though. Uh look at that all right, guys, so yeah all right, so you have a stadium, is really, really good. I'm actually really impressed.

Let's see what x cloud has for us all right, guys we're playing one of my favorite games ever actually favorite series, one of my favorite series ever and that's the batman. This is batman, Arkham knight, alright, look at that. Look at that beautiful, beautiful city, see that beautiful graphics. I should say: look at that bat symbol right there, let's go so far, I'm I'm not noticing any itchiness or glitches pretty smooth, pretty smooth gliding diving. Whatever you want to call it, I forgot how to run okay.

Oh, that's really dark um! Let me see if I can up so yeah very smooth on batman. I can't play this too long, because this is a know, open world game and trying to find a story for it and yeah. I don't want to bore you guys all right bro here we go right here. Oh, I used to love playing this game. I got to play it again.

You got that you got the new batman Arkham. What is it? No yeah batman, Arkham knights, coming out next year, can't wait for that. Oh batman, that was cold. I was called all right. You can see very smooth, very smooth gameplay on project x level day, so let's do one more game with project XL, maybe Gears of War all right guys.

Let's get this, let's get in there, if there's any barking in the background. Excuse that it's the freaking but dogs, no one's been in that facility for like 25 years, okay, the controls are a little weird, but as far as the camera movement, okay, so far I mean it's not bad, not bad. At all, it's hard to go pretty good, pretty good! Oh, the hell quickly, all right guys! So, as you can see, this is really, really smooth so far, um so yeah there you have it gaming on the pixel 48, okay. So there you have it gaming on the pixel 4, and I thought it was pretty good. I thought it was compared to maybe the iPhone 6s iPhone 7, maybe even the iPhone 8.

So if you're in a market looking for an affordable android phone to get Pixel 4a is my recommendation.
