Pixel 4a Camera App Settings - Hopefully People Can Figure Out How To Take Better Photos

Hey, what's happening everybody today we're going to look at the Google camera app and right here we got the Pixel 4a, let's jump into it now. This will work whether you're using the Pixel 4 XL pixel 4. Anyway, let's go so first off you're just going to open up the camera app, and you see the little arrow you can either pull down on that arrow or just on the screen. Do that right there and boom. You get all that now. First off you have your timer, so say: you're, using a tripod, and you're, getting a family picture you're getting a picture of you and your girlfriend whatever it is you're doing right, you can set it for 10 seconds or three seconds.

Next, you have your motion photos all right, so you can take a motion photo. I don't have anything here to show you how to take a motion photo with, but its self-explanatory experiment with it. It comes in pretty handy next off your crop. I recommend using the right the white crop 16x9, because most people are using their phones to look at photos. Sometimes people on a computer either way use the white crop, because if you don't, you get that right there and yeah yeah, I don't like that anyway.

Next, what you want to do tap settings go into here, all right, save location. I recommend you turn that on I mean the photo itself should be self-explanatory where you were but say you're in an area where I don't know you might be having an emergency, and you're sending somebody a photo or whatever reason you want to know. You want to save the location of where you were all right. Also, camera sounds. You can turn that on turn it off.

I turn it off because it's cheesy okay, nobody wants to hear the code app sound all right. This isn't 1975. Google lands. I recommend you turn that on that comes in very, very helpful whenever you want to get more information on a product, so this is easier than actually going to the Google Lens app itself so anyway, framing hints. I recommend you do that hints for taking better photos, so say you're somewhere taking a photo, and you have your camera like this.

What it'll do it'll, let you know what degree angle you're at, or it'll, also tell you to clean your lands, different things also social share, so you can do it directly from inside the camera app. So what I have set up right here are android messages, Instagram, and I almost call it Twitter twitter, alright, so you can just get to it right, quick! Just like that. Also gestures, volume, key double tap options. You know, that's cool! You can do a few other things all right with your gestures on your Pixel 4a, so you can experiment with that. I just wanted to show you where it's at all right.

What's next up tap advanced here, you have all this right here show the dirty lens warning. I got that turned on, because I do a lot of outdoor activity and every once in a while, you know I'll get some dirt or something on the phone mud or something's going on and if you're one of those people that you know you, let you like your raw images. There you go, you can turn that on uh say you want to store videos efficiently. I don't recommend that you have 128 gigs in your Pixel 4a excel, so go ahead and just record your video, you know in full. You know in their full resolution and full everything else.

Already social media depth features depth. Data will be saved. This data may be used for social media, apps motion photos will be turned off and photos may take longer to process. That's up to you if you want to turn that on all right, but I just don't let you know that it's there all right next up. I want to show you something, so I'm going to go over here just and if you want to get out of it, you just tap it like that.

Come to video all right. So this is the next thing I want to show you pull down, and this is where you can either turn your say. Recording your video in an um in a darker room or something. Then you can turn your. They call it a flash turn the light on.

So, whenever you're recording the light comes on uh your resolution, you can do full HD, 1080p or you can come over here, 4k all right, so you have that right. There frames per second! So let's come over here, so you can do you can do full HD, 1080 and 60. So that's something that's very good to know, but for 4k it only lets you do a 30. So I'm happy with that. So a lot of people- I don't know they might not be happy with that, but hey it is what it is right.

Next thing you want to do come over here and tap more and that way you can see all of this that you have right here and there's lots of videos out there, teaching people how to actually use that and there's your Google Lens right there. So do I have a product here. Let me look around actually do you have a product? I have this I'll. Just do that. Okay, so google lands all right, open camera tap the shutter to search.

So that's what it's going to do and see what it did there. It's going to give you some more, then you tap more results right there and there you are you know so. Yes, so you can learn, you can learn more. So that's what I was talking about with the Google Lens whenever you're, using that Google Lens feature all right now for those of you that are really wondering about the quality of the Pixel 4a camera. You can come over here to my Instagram, and you can see the photos that I have taken with it uh last weekend I was in Sedna and, for example, just you can look at that one right there all right.

It's just amazing camera. I've talked about it before, and it's just point and shoot. Let's see no issues at all right. You just get down the business, that's what you know! That's the beauty of using the pixel any pixel camera, but the Pixel 4a or like the pixel 4 series in general. They just taking amazing photos and they're.

You know if that's your thing, you know if you like, taking doing photography, whether it be your kids or whatever kind of photography that you're into I recommend you get a pixel phone straight up all right. I've had a ton of good luck with pixel phones and this these photos right here were taken after the sun went down, and this is in Sedna Arizona, and you can just basically see what's going on here and uh, and I've compared like the Google Pixel with the iPhone 11 Pro maps when it comes to outdoor photography, I actually prefer the Pixel 4a versus the iPhone 11 Pro max. Now when it comes to video, that's another story. We all know the story on that, but I'm telling you all right now for what I do. I prefer using the Google Pixel to take a lot of photos just like this one right here I mean to me, it's their, more true to they're more true to color they're, more true to what's the.

What am I trying to say to me, they're more life like whenever you take a photo of the sky with an iPhone 11 Pro max to me. I don't know I just get that yellow tint, or it washes it out right. But when you do the same thing as on this device right here, you get like a true blue sky. I don't know and say, if you do say your feet, look let me come over here say you want to edit photos inside uh wit on your Google Pixel 4a. I recommend that you use the Google photos, app use the editing software that's inside over there.

You tap right there, and then you do your thing right, or you can use snap seed as well. I really prefer using the Google photos, editing software it really. It really does a great job oops. It really does a great job man anyway, so it really does a good job. So that's where I recommend you go and do your you know editing of your photos, especially if you're using one of these to me.

It just works better like say if you're using an iPhone go over there, and you know, use your iPhone. You know editing software learn how to use both. I always recommend people learn how to use both that way they can get the most out of you know whatever device. It is you're using okay um anyway, but I just wanted to make a video talking about the Google camera settings. Also, you know night sight uh.

Last year I did some night sight photography and I posted it up, and people were amazed. So I'm waiting here, I'm going to be doing some night sight. Photography here coming up the Google Pixel 5 is coming out. So you know I can't wait to get my hands on that as well, so I'm going to have a house full of pixel phones, so I'll be out doing a night sight, but if you're going to be using night sight uh most people cannot stand totally still enough to activate it. Okay, but I'm talking about Castro photography here, so put your phone on a tripod, go to Walmart and buy that at 30 or a 50 tripod or go on Amazon whatever, however, it is you all want to buy it.

Whenever you put your Pixel 4a on a tripod, it knows all right or any pixel phone. It knows it's on a tripod, and it'll activate Castro photography, and you really get some amazing photos uh. It does amazing things with the night sky and uh yeah, so on and so forth, like that, so I use the've experimented with macrophotography with my pixel 3axl with my Pixel 4 XL. So I'm going to be doing it with this here when I get the time to do it. Whenever I get some just like some downtime in the evening, that's what I'm going to be doing, and it's really cool.

It's like a cool family activity that you can do. Everyone gets together and just has a good time. You know. So, back in the old days, everyone had the almost said the microscope, the telescope right. You went out with your telescope, and you took photos of the sky, not took photos.

You went and looked at the stars, and you did all that. Well now, when you have this, all you need is a tripod and say it's a really, really, really clear, clear night. There's no moon out you just, and you can even look it even works whenever like say you want to just do the same thing as say: you want to take a really impressive night sight photo say: there's not too much light because it'll blow it out, but you can really get a really sharp, sharp image in the evening. Whenever you use macrophotography, you say you're just taking a photo of. I don't know your backyard at night or something like that.

But anyway I digress. Well anyway, if you guys have any questions hit me up on Twitter or Instagram, that's where I'm always at hanging out doing my thing all right. I love making special request videos. So if you have any special request, videos, let me know- and if you have any more questions about the Pixel 4a, that's what I'm here. For I love answering questions about this cool little device.

All right, that's gonna, be for this video. I appreciate all you're watching and I will catch all of you in the next one. Take care.
