HTC U11 Unboxing and First Impressions! (4K) By Tech Timmers

Hey guys so this will be an unboxing of the HTC. U 11th phone, so I bought this directly from HTC comm. At the time they had a coupon code, so that's just for $5.99, plus packs I think it was so come up to like 600 something so here it is here being the box that it came in and back here are the specs pause the video and read that for yourself all right, here's the packaging. He comes wrapped in this plastic, so I'm going to see how I am going to tackle this right. Now. Let me do this.

Behind the camera use my knife. There you go cut into it. There we go it's plastic out of here, and here it is slide, is open and bad Bing bad boom have the device here on the left. You can see brand new in the plastic got some info back here and the feeds back here. If you see you 11 power, key edge sense, you can squeeze this phone.

Add some additional functionality we'll be putting that to the test fingerprint scanner down here. Alright turn this on it vibrated there we go. Let that flu toast put that to the side. Let's see what else comes in this packaging here we have the charging brick. This should be quick charge.3.0, so you'll see there are some specs back here, but it's kind of hard to read. So that's that phone making some noises, which is good here we have your headphones now.

This phone does not have a headphone jack, but it does have USB type-c headphones, so be very clear. You have the sound like so on, making more noises very cool. This is your charging cable, USB type-c, and what do we have here? Okay, we have some additional ear tips for the USB type-c headphones. Nice touch and grab this tray here. Alright, let's see this is adapter from USB type-c to your standard, headphone jack, pretty cool.

This is some stickers here. What is this I? Don't know what this is some additional decal. What is this the best removable sticker or something don't know? What this is? Is this a random blank sticker check this out, get the camera to focus check. The cell is just a random sticker. Give me up in the comments- and let me know what the hell this is for no idea, and we have a clear case here, as you can see alright, since this phones back it's apparently very shiny, so they include a clear case with it very nice I think every phone manufacturers should do this at minimum to help the end usually get started.

Thank you, HTC for that I appreciate it. Here's your sim, ejector tool, says HTC on it pretty cool. What do we have here? Wow? This phone has a lot of stuff in the box we have a microfiber cleaning cloth to clean the super shiny, we're in if it's phone. Let's see there, we go so what else, and you have her books and stuff pamphlets get rid of that and this doesn't come apart. That's pretty much it now: here's the phone, no, no one, the dilating, it turned it screwing off and let's take it off, let's move the plastic or should I start here, yeah, I, gotta, say: HEC did package of this phone very good I'll give him that sure here you go pick that off and here's the device in all of its glory.

So you can see I had I got the UH. The black model. Look at that very nice, nice and shiny all blacked out, hey I, like first impressions, feel in the hand, hey I, got a sight feels good in the head right. First impressions I mean phone doesn't feel too big feels premium. With this glass kind of construction front and back you have your I think this is not oh yeah.

This is a metal border around. Let's check the buttons, but I'm still kind of mushy, not a stacked house I would like, but it's good enough would be interesting to see it's a case. I'll improve that Michelle see and let's see, where's my you ultra here's, my HTC, you ultra on the right. You can see comparing the backs. Give me an idea just how shiny the back is.

Yeah, if you're not into the shiny backs, definitely go with the black model. It's a little more subtle continue touching the screen into okay phone making some extra noises, which is good here. It is against the Sony, Xperia XV premium and compared to shiny backs there. We go alright. So let's turn the phone on.

Let's go. Let's move to the UI real quick! Let's see the Bat cave, that is my Wi-Fi. Let me put in my password. Ok, don't use edge sense set that up later setup fingerprint skip for now skip the best protection skip anyway. I'll go through all of that later next. Next, what is this? Must-Have apps for your device, aka bloatware I, don't want any of this on my phone cookie jam. What is that and wish shopping? I? Don't want that I'm going to uncheck that I don't want any of this crap on my phone Finnish filmmakers of noise, and we are easy. So you can see who's HTC's overlay, HTC, Sense, /, Android, nougat.

Let's check that rule fast go down here, so goofy Android 7.1.1 out of the box. Here we go software information 7.1.1! You got Easter egg. There 's's the cat go back, go back! Let's see go to that phone again software info. So let's see software number is it that one I want to enable hum here we go. Don't ask me this again: yada-yada-yada okay, now go down here and decrease. Let's see, go to advanced Wow, they change this up. Okay window animation scales decrease just a half, because this makes the phone feel that much faster, no fingerprint scanner, yet that much more smoother. Now this is pretty cool. Already have system update available.
