Pixel 3A vs iPhone Xr - Which is the BETTER Budget Device?

Mmm-Hmm, what's going on guys Carl here back with another episode around the new pixel 3/8 XL, this guy is Google's latest a budget-friendly device, and we're comparing it against the also budget-friendly I'm going to put that in quotation marks the iPhone 10 R. This is the vs. battle of the budget Android budget iPhone. Before we start. Today's episode. Remember that the unboxing and giveaway of the three AXL is linked right up.

This way, make sure you check it out, obviously, just make sure to sub to the channel and check me out over on instar giveaway will end after the three a series will end. There's one more video for tomorrow to the budget devices and I kind of gave that in quotations, let's talk first about the newcomer, the three AXL this guy starts at around 500 bucks, depending on what country you live in. This is, of course, the larger. You still have these smaller three, a iPhone that 10 are, and I've left this guy in coral, obviously a ton of different color ways and when Apple says a budget-friendly, that's still usually very expensive for most other brands. This guy comes in at 750 bucks and that's for 64 gigs, so that's still $200 more than the three a pick, your poison when it comes to budget savings.

Switching back to the three AXL. Now, let's first talk about the thing that you see the most, which is the display six inches OLED panel 2160 by 1080. It's got a pixel density of just over 400, whereas the iPhone 10, our liquid retina, also six inches LED panel, but a weird resolution, 1792 by 828 pixel density of around 326. If I got my specs right, both aren't anything to cry about. You won't really be wowed by them, especially when you compare them to their flagship counterparts.

Of course, the iPhone 10s, a max, and I was going to say the pixel three XL, but that isn't to Y wish either. Maybe when you compare that to the S and plus the new Huawei P30 Pro, these seem very muted and not as vibrant, and you're expecting that for a budget device. But when you really look at both devices side by side, the 10r in terms of display design, I, think this one looks a bit better. It does have the same notch as say: v10s, 10s, max I know that the bezels are slightly chunkier. The display doesn't go fully to the edge, but when you look at the three a is really what I'm wondering now in 2019, Google I think you got to get it together here.

You still have the very large bezels, especially the large chin at the bottom. We no longer had that friend's facing speaker, which means this should not be here, lets kind of flip, that around to the design of the box- and this is where you really notice a difference on the iPhone 10 are still completely made out of glass. It feels premium. It's got a nice sort of heft to it the 3a. On the other hand, this is made of polycarbonate they've chosen to move away from glass.

Obviously this is to save more money, but notice. Lee feels a bit cheaper. You can tell that it isn't as premium you'll notice on the 3a. We've got the fingerprint sensor on the back. Of course, we've got face ID on the iPhone and the thing that most people will be.

Comparing, of course, is the cameras. I think this is where Google did it right? They kept the same camera that we see in the three, the three XL. It is still the best single lens camera, probably the best camera that you can still grab in 2019. That's solely for taking photos I'm not talking about the zoom ranges. Focal ranges if you're just looking for a one-shot banger, Google software still reigned supreme and last but not least, is the hardware inside, and I think this is where Google is saving a lot of money.

That's why this guy is so much cheaper, they've gone for lower end chipsets. You've got the snapdragon 670 a lower GPU, but we still have four gigs of ram. It's quick, its snappy, but maybe not as quick as the 10r, because this has the a12 bionic. That's what's found over in say my flagship, the 10s max the 10 AS benchmark scores are probably the highest out of anyone's again quote a budget-friendly device, and rightly though it should, because it's naturally more expensive and when it comes down to it, though, which device? Will you end up picking I think if you're leaning towards something sub $500 the 3a XL can be a very solid pick if you're looking for something, no pun intended? That can take very good photos, very good pics. If you're not too concerned how crispy it displays, if you don't care if it's made out of premium materials because you'll end up rocking a case on it, regardless I think really comparing apples technically to oranges here, but maybe wait till tomorrow, where I compare the three AXL against the Samsung s10 II, it's Samsung's budget-friendly option stay tuned for tomorrow's video anyways hope you guys enjoyed this comparison of budget-friendly devices, curious.

What you guys have to stay down below in the comments. Remember, you can win the three AXL. Maybe, though, if there is enough love for the iPhone 10 art I can make that happen. Just let me know, and we'll catch the rest of you in one of my next ones or in one of my vlogs bass.
