Pixel 3 vs OnePlus 6T: Performance Speedtest By Phandroid

Hey, what's going on guys, I'm, Nick gray from Android and today, I'm doing a smartphone comparison between the OnePlus 60 and the pixel 3 to gauge the performance of these two devices and see how they compare now. Both of these devices have just come out, and they're running on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset on the inside, which is extremely fast, but there is a difference between these two phones when it comes down to RAM and RAM management. The OnePlus 60 here this thing's running eight gigabytes of RAM on the inside, which is probably on par with your laptop, and then you have the pixel 3, which is running 4 gigabytes of RAM, which is exactly the same as what we saw on last year's pixel 2 now Android doesn't need a lot of RAM to operate smoothly, but having additional RAM does kill me in quite handy, if you're in the multitasking or using applications over and over again throughout the day, since that added RAM allows the phone to keep those applications open without reloading them every single time. So with that, out of the way, let's jump into a side-by-side speed test comparison to see which of these devices performs better, as I do in all of my performance, speed tests, I'm going to start things off with a fresh boot with both devices. This ensures that any applications that are stored in memory have been completely cleared out, and I also find it interesting to see which device has a quicker boot up sequence. But a quick boot up is never indicative of what the final results are going to be.

For this speed test comparison, I'm going to be opening up the same applications on both devices simultaneously to see which device opens the applications quicker and once you get through all the applications I'm going to be coming back for a second round and opening up the same applications again to see which device holds more applications in memory. So with that out of the way, let's get started after round 1, the 1 plus 60 has a dominating lead over the pixel 3 for the score of 10 to 3. But let's see how things go in round 2 and if the pixel 3 can make up any ground with both friends completed. The final score is 20 to 5 in favor of the 1 + 60, which is pretty embarrassing for Google, considering that the pixel 3 here is considered to be the flagship device to showcase Android overall now, if you're looking for a device that has the overall better experience, I honestly think it's pretty much a toss-up between these two phones, but if you simply must have the device with the best performance possible, the 1 plus 60 is definitely the way to go, especially when you consider that the phone only costs five hundred and eighty dollars compared to the pixel threes 800 dollars and keep in mind. This is the little one, not the big one.
