OPPO Find X3 Pro vs Samsung S21 Ultra! Battle Of The 2021 Flagships! What’s Your Choice?!

Hey guys welcome back to another video with LIM reviews, so in today's video you're going to be checking out two very cool devices here, uh that I really love, and I've been using for quite a bit now, definitely almost a month. Now they are the Oppo f5x3 pro, as well as the Samsung s21 ultra 5g, bear in mind that both devices here are 5g, and I'm just using this angle a little so that you can feel like you are actually the one checking out these devices right here, all right so usually, when you think of like the top flagship device, you'll always be thinking about the s21 ultra. It's like the de facto one. So in this video we're going to be checking if the Oppo f5x3 pro can actually bring that batter up to the s21 ultra. So before I do that, let me just give you a brief introduction of both devices right here. The Oppo f5x3 pro is retailing in Malaysia for about rm4299, whereas the Samsung s21 ultra-right here is retaining four five, two, nine.

So that's a massive 1000 ringgit difference. But what is it all about? I'm not in this video here to bash either one of these brands, but rather to tell you what will you be able to get from the Oppo finance 3 pro, as well as the more expensive s21 ultra? One thing you need to bear in mind is that both devices here are coming in at pretty similar specs and what I mean by that is both devices have 12 gigabytes of ram and 256 gigabytes of internal memory, all right we're going to put those devices down for a minute and check out their boxes. So naturally, the s21 box comes in this really tiny box here and, although you're paying such a hefty price, you only get the device in the box, whereas for the Oppo f5x3 pro you get a pretty decent box here. Design is not that important, but what is important is what came in the box and actually my favorite item that came in the box here. Was this uh 65 watt charging, so it offers very, very fast charging uh for the Oppo 5x3 pro right here.

So definitely a very good thing there. Apart from that, it also comes with this additional case, which offers a pretty good protection for the device. So yeah, that's what you can expect if you buy either one of these devices right here, tiny box versus large box, all right, so we're going to deep dive into these devices. For now, let's check out the build quality and design, so you might already be very familiar with the Oppo f5x3 pro right here, comparing it to the s21 ultra. Naturally, this is a much slimmer and smaller form factor device, and I also felt that it is much lighter compared to the s21 ultra-right here.

So the s71 ultra of course comes with a bigger battery. So we'll talk a little about that in terms of the design wise. Let's continue here with the Oppo phone x3 is a very slim profile. I went with this matte blue version, which feels absolutely smooth to the touch. It feels very premium guys, and it feels absolutely fine in my hand, alright, so on to the s21 ultra.

On the other hand, this is a pretty bulky device, obviously again, because I said that it did come with that huge bigger battery at the back here. It also comes with this matte back, and it looks really stealthy like this fully black device here looks awesome. I really love the look on this device as well, but if you just compare it side by side, bear in mind that the s21 ultra is such a bigger device compared to the Oppo f5x3 pro right here. So it's really up to you. Do you prefer a slimmer form factor, or you're, pretty much okay with a huge device like the s21 ultra on this side here all right, so we're going to flip this device to the front and check out those displays, because we have very excellent displays for both devices right here, so they're, both rocking AMOLED panels they're both 1440p? We also have high refresh rates on both devices right here, so excellent displays over here.

There's nothing to complain about that, though. I do want to point out that the display on the s21 ultra did felt a little brighter compared to my Oppo right here on my left and what I do need to point out here, although is the camera notch at the top there so uh for the OPPO. The approach is that they have this camera cut out in the top left corner, whereas for the Samsung s21 ultra it is dead center, so it depends on which one you prefer. Let me know down in the comment section below all right. Next thing, I'm going to talk about here very quickly is the software that it operates on so for the Oppo we have this color OS based on android 11, and it's actually getting very lightweight, and it feels very nice to use actually, so I've been using it for quite a bit now, and it comes with a couple of features with the color OS right here, and one thing I must note here is that it does feel very snappy compared to colorways from previous versions, so very happy with what we're having right here.

Everything is very smooth and very nice to use if you're not used to it. You might actually take a little while to get used to everything and finding out where your menus are and what are the extra features that you can get from color OS, but otherwise this is a pretty lightweight OS right here, and you don't actually get a lot of bloats on this device right here. So moving on to the Samsung. This is where you have your one UI, so I'm pretty sure a lot of you guys are actually very familiar with how this works, because Samsung has been added for a pretty long time now. It is a very familiar kind of skin on top of that, android 11.

, all right next thing. We're going to talk about here is the performance, so performance wise. Both devices are actually rocking very strong processors. Uh. It's a bit different here, though, because in Malaysia, our Oppo f5x3 pro here still rocks the snapdragon 888, and I'm just going to open that big bench score for a moment right there, whereas our Samsung s21 ultra here is actually rocking the Enos processor.

So, just in terms of benchmark scores, this is the kind of scores that you can see from both devices right here. Obviously, the snapdragon outperforms, the Enos processor, just in terms of numbers right here, but again, that's not to say that the Samsung device here is not a good device, and it's slow or anything like that. In fact, on the contrary, they're both actually very fast and very snappy launching apps are actually very quick, they're, almost equally fast, as you can see right here, but yeah. Naturally, this is what you kind of expect with the slight difference. There just take a look at that quick one right here.

Let me just show that for you, okay, let's go back and let's just try out your phone, for example, so you can go to chrome, speed, wise on the daily basis. They're, both very similar you can't really tell- which is the faster one over the other and gaming is also the same story right here. You can definitely game very well on both devices but yeah. All right next thing I want to talk about here is the cameras at the back. So we have a very different set of setups here, and I think this is probably the main differentiating factor uh for both devices right here.

So in terms of numbers, the Oppo device right here comes with a 15 megapixel main a 50 megapixel wide and a 13 megapixel dev sensor, combined with a 3 megapixel microscope. Moving on to the s21 ultra, we do have a 108 megapixel main. We also have a 12 megapixel ultra-wide, a 10 megapixel depth and a 10 megapixel periscope alright. So the main point right here is the key takeout is that on the s21 ultra, you do get a higher resolution main sensor, but this Oppo f5x3 pro has a higher resolution. Ultrawide sensor, apart from that this device right here, the s21 comes with that optical zoom and that periscope zoom.

That really allows you to see very, very far away, whereas this guy, the opp, on the other hand, here, comes with a microscope which allows you to zoom in on stuff that are really, really tiny. Now, let's take a look at some sample shots notice that both looks amazing in terms of quality and clarity, but the images taken on Oppo has a slightly more saturated and warmer tone, whereas Samsung is taking a cooler approach, also notice that Oppo has increased the shadows in their image processing and that allows you to see a generally slightly brighter image compared to Samsung. Moving on to night mode again, we can see that Oppo is still taking that warmer approach, but this time it does not boost the brightness at all that many images look sufficiently bright and, more importantly, with minimal noise. On the other hand, Samsung is doing a little more to brighten the image here and again keeps its cooler approach. To conclude, I'd say that images taken on both devices here are amazing, but it depends on which approach you prefer from either Oppo or Samsung all right uh enough about the cameras.

Let's talk very quickly about the battery so, like I said, the Oppo phone x3 here is slimmer, so it comes with a 4500mah battery, whereas the Samsung s21 ultra here comes with a thicker 5000 William hour battery so again um this s21 here will last you a little longer in terms of battery life, but you do get that faster charger in the box for the Oppo right here, so you can always charge that up fairly quickly. So if again, if I were to choose between getting a faster charger or having a little more juice, I would go with the one with the faster charger and faster charging as well. Last but not least, a couple of stuff that we do have in common here is the stereo speakers. So both devices have superior speakers that are great uh in terms of headphone jacks. You can take a look for yourself they're, both kind of missing on both the opp, and the Samsung s21 ultra-right there all right guys, I think that's pretty much it for my comparison between the Oppo phone x3 and the Samsung s21.

So my conclusion is pretty straightforward between these two devices, only if you're looking for something that is a bit more affordable, slimmer form factor comes with a set of awesome cameras. And of course, if you like that toy of a microscope, then you definitely want to go for the Oppo find x3 pro right here. However, if you want a slightly larger battery, an awesome set of cameras, as well as the very, very good periscope kind of lens right here to zoom in far away, and of course you need to have that additional 1000 ringgit budget, then you might actually check out the Samsung s21 ultra-right there, but in my opinion, I'm going to go for the Oppo f5x3 pro, mainly for a couple of reasons. First thing up: I prefer the slimmer form factor it doesn't feel so heavy in my pocket. Second, I really need that charger and thirdly, the cameras, the main sensors right here, the 50 megapixel main and 50 megapixel ultra white is my favorite camera so far so yep.

This is my choice, but let me know what you think down in the comment section below guys all right, guys long enough video. Thank you guys for staying with me. Uh. If you like this video hit that, like button, and I'll, see you guys in the next one bye.
