Vivo X60 Pro / X60 Pro Plus "Real Review" By Flossy Carter

What's up everybody, it's your boy floss back again with another video, and today we got another dual unboxing and review. We got the VIVO x60 pro and the VIVO x60 pro plus. Now you can pick these up on VIVO I'll, throw the link-up in the description for the price.

Now VIVO says that the x60 pro should be around 700 bucks and the x60 pro plus should be around 900 bucks all right. So, let's start off with the uh pro. Now the pro comes in two different colors. You got midnight black and summer blue for the display. You got a 6.56 inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1080 by 23.76 that is 398 for the PPI patrol. Furthermore, you got gorilla glass, 6 on the front and on the back with an aluminum frame you got HDR, 10 plus and a 120hz refresh rate for the processor, get the Qualcomm snapdragon 875 g with the arena 650 GPU.

Now what does that mean in English flagship, specs, bro flagship specs? Now you got 12 gigs of ram 256, gigs of storage, no micro SD card slot for expandable memory. Now it's running, android 11 with fun touch 11.1 skin. On top, you got a 4 200 ml battery that has 33 watt fast charging. Now pay attention cameras on the rear. You got a triple setup, got a 48 megapixel wide angle, a 13 megapixel ultra-wide and a 13 megapixel portrait lens on the front.

You got a 32, megapixel, wide angle lens that features mass optics, we're going to talk more about that. In a minute. Now you got Bluetooth, 5.1, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, always on display, face unlock and an on-screen fingerprint sensor. So, what's missing from my flagship checklist, no quad HD display no IP rating. So it's not water resistant, no wireless charge, no reverse wireless charge or power share and no dual speakers.

I was missing from my petty checklist: no IR blaster, no thought protection, no expandable memory and no headphone jack that shit's whack hashtag bars all right. Let's grab a little unboxing knife. First things. First, shout out to white shoes back in the building calm down. I know she felt that one all right here we go, got the little unboxing knife now, of course, I've been using this all day long, but I had to put it back in the box for the dramatic effect right yeah.

I know I like to keep it nice and dramatic one more hold up here. We go. Let's get that in there nice and deep okay VIVO x60 pro now this is going to be your device. Now this is the shimmer blue. I choose this back.

Shimmer blue. Let's see what else you get! Okay, 33 watt, fast charging, brick in the box. Okay, shoes, okay, check this out. Now you get a set of headphones. This is nice.

Now wait a minute. These are 3.5 headphones, so I'm assuming they got to be a dongle okay, 3.5 headphones. Let's see, uh in-line controls, real nice and, of course, some different size tips for your ears and there it is now I hate making a big deal about small stuff, but this is important all right in this day and age, 2021 put a dongle in the box, Samsung Apple charger, dongle headphones for around 700 bucks. I, like that. Oh, wait and there's more than billy Mays would say, wait, there's more! You get a case now.

This is just a little case right here. Let's slap this on real quick just so you can see it no passivity in this case, but it's still the case. Nonetheless, let's get him pop this off: okay, usual books and some ejection to plug them in volume, USB type-c charging cable all right now. This is the phone right here. Let's do smell test on this one.

This one smells like a nice silk shirt all right, because this phone has that silky feel to it. You're going to like this one, all right but pay attention to the specs. This is a camera phone if you don't really care about the camera, if you're not a heavy photographer or somebody takes a lot of pictures, this might be a no-go for you, because again, no wireless charge, no dual speakers, no IP rating, no quad HD display the OnePlus has all of that, except for the quantity display for around the same price, but after testing this all right. I've been testing this all day yesterday and today the camera on this is killing the OnePlus camera killing it. Now you see the OnePlus phones, have the Hasselblad logo don't get too wrapped up in all of these camera names.

Look how they look in real life. All right! That's how you judge these phones, look, how they look in real life, we're going to talk more about that in a minute all right. So this is the x60 pro follow that to the side. Now, let's take a look at the x60 pro plus now, like I said this one's going to run you around 900 bucks, the price is not set in stone. Now this comes in two different colors.

You got orange and emperor blue for the display same 6.56 inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1080 by 2376 398 for the PPI patrol gorilla, glass, 6 on the front, an aluminum frame, and you got the vegan leather back now, you all got to see it. It looks nice. You got HDR, 10 plus and a 120 hertz refresh rate for the processor. Now here's the difference between the VR x60 pro and the pro plus the processor, not a pro. Now I got to get used to saying these names.

The pro has the snapdragon 870 5g, the pro plus has a snapdragon 888. I had the triple h with the arena 660 GPU. Now, what does that mean in English? That's flagship, specs, bro, flagship specs. Now this one comes with 8 or 12 gigs of ram, as opposed to only 12 gigs. For the pro you got: 128 or 256 gigs of storage, as opposed to only 256 for the pro.

Neither one have an uh SD card slot. Now the x60 pro plus is running android 11, with fun touch 11.1 skin on top same 4, 200 William battery, but here's another difference with the pro you got: a 33 watt fast charging brick. This one comes with 55 watt, fast charging all right, so 33 55. This one is going to charge from zero to 100 in around 30 minutes now for the cameras, this is the main difference. The cameras on the pro you got the triple setup on the pro plus.

You got the quad setup, so you got a 50 megapixel wide angle, a 48 megapixel ultra-wide 32 megapixel telephoto and an 8 megapixel periscope on the front. You got a 32 megapixel wide angle lens with the mass optics. This is all about the camera. Now you got Bluetooth, 5.1, Wi-Fi 6 NFC, always on display, face unlock and an on-screen fingerprint sensor. Now this one's going to go for around 900 bucks.

What's missing for my flagship checklist, no quad HD display no IP rating. So it's not water resistant, no wireless charge, no reverse wireless charge and no dual speakers. What's going on with OnePlus, you see, what's going on with VIVO 55 watt fast charging, brick in the box in the box, let's see what else you get now. This is going to be some headphones same headphones with the 3.5 jack same ear, tips. Okay, let's see if we get the same case, same style case with no passivity, okay, usual books and plug them in follow some ejection tool, and this is going to be your USB type-c charging, cable, okay. So to make this easy, what's the difference between the VIVO x? Let me put it like this, so you can see it what's the difference between the x60 pro and the x60 pro plus, first, 200 difference: okay, 700 versus 900 bucks. Next, the cameras: this is the main difference.

The cameras triple camera setup, quad, camera setup. The next difference is the back. You got vegan leather versus glass. Now, as far as the way, the phones rock they basically the same, just as smooth just as fast and both of these phones, the camera can beat the OnePlus 9 pros camera easily. Okay, so let me pause the video delete, my browsing history, and we'll walk through the OS talk amongst yourselves. All right, josh will be back in now. I'm going to try to make this video as quick as I can. These are basically camera phones, so I really want to focus mostly on the camera, but let's break it down anyway.

First things first build quality. Now both of these have premium feels to it. I love the vegan back no fingerprints on this one, and I love this silky smooth back on the pro, but the downer is no IP rating, so neither one of these phones are water resistant. Next, now everything that I'm going to show you on this phone. You can do on this phone, also a couple of different ways to open up the device.

Okay, you can swipe up put in your pattern, your pin, you got your on-screen fingerprint sensor which works flawlessly, and you got face unlock now. I'm not looking at it. I'm gonna look at it instantaneous all right, one of the best face unlocks that I use yet next always on display both of them. Have it? Okay, no problems with that. Next, one of the things that I do like about this phone is the level of customization.

So, let's breeze through that real quick. Now again, I'm going to try to make this quick. You got all your basic toggles no need to go through this, but you got screen records screencast everything that you need. Let's go over to settings. Okay, of course you got your VPNs.

Your private DNS savagery got NFC Bluetooth, android beam. You got Chromebook one of my favorite new features. Let's keep it moving. Let me get a little wipe down idea. It is, of course you got dark mode.

Let's go to display and brightness now look. This is where the customization comes into play. Okay, let's go to our screen, colors the standard professional bright. You got. Color temperature adjustment I like to keep it nice and cool.

Why not? Let's go to uh screen refresh rate now. Both of these phones have 120 hertz refresh rate, but if you want to you could drop it down to 60. , okay, full screen display of apps top area. You know what it is already: let's go to lock, screen and wallpaper all right. So here's your always on display.

You got a bunch of different styles to choose from okay. Let's go to notifications, you got phone messaging messenger. Okay, let's go to lock screen settings. You have a poster lock screen style. Two different styles put your name on the text.

If you want, let's go to dynamic effects now look! This is the customization, so you got your ambient light effects. Okay, music light effects, a bunch of different ones to choose from you see where the sides light up I'll leave it on that one lighting for incoming calls. Okay, so you can change that too. Exit out of that life effects. With notifications, I mean it's just it's just endless: it's just really endless fingerprint animation got a bunch of different ones to choose from look at that no ruin on the phone necessary face recognition, animation! That's when you pick up your phone, I like to leave a little smiley face, but you got a bunch to choose from charging animation.

I mean it's just endless animations USB inserted animation. Look at that now, you all remember. I was just ripping on Samsung for having these outdated animations a lot of people be uh. I'm going to use that word again. GUF a lot of people be giving VIVO and fun touch a lot of guff for having this uh cartoonish OS, but look at the level of customization.

Even your screen off customization all right. When you powered up you know when you power the screen off, you got different effects. Leave it on that one. So that's how it's gonna look when you turn the phone off now, I'm gonna look at if it's hard to see, but but but you could customize it. Let's keep it moving.

Okay, sound! Now! Here's it one bottom firing! Speaker now, as soon as I said, no dual speakers, I know a lot of you all was like okay click like on the video, because that's what you're supposed to do all right, stop hating click like on the video, even if you don't like the video click like on the video, if you don't like the product, click like on the video and keep it moving. I know a lot of you all did that as soon as you heard no dual speakers, it was like okay, book bop, but this is a camera phone all right bear with me you all. This is a camera phone, let's get through the small stuff. First, though, I see you got all your sound and vibrations out of that uh, let's see uh anything, we need to see battery 4200 Williams face unlock fingerprint sensor. You got smart, lock, location, ultra game mode.

All your accessibility features all your digital well-being and parental controls. All right monitor your scumbag activities. I know I always say that, but sometimes you got to implement it into your day-to-day activities. Just keep it pushing okay. So that's pretty much it for the settings like.

I said I don't want to spend too much time with that. All the settings are the same on both phones. Both phones have the same displays same battery size you're, just going to charge faster with this one. This is a phone for people that, like cameras, all right. This is a camera phone.

Now I'm going to do some of my regular testing. Let's take it over to the let's check the internet. Browsing speeds go to apple. com touch to select an app from the list opening web. Look at that full website now.

Does it again go to samsung. com opening webpage there? It is all right, 120, hertz, refresh rate you all, know my word: immaculate scrolling speeds. Speaking of Chromebook, let's see! Okay, you already see my video on this. Do not buy it. Okay, so that's the web browsing speeds.

Now, let's take a look at this beautiful display, and we'll check the speaker. This is important all right. Let me pull up YouTube, we'll go to one of my favorite videos. Okay, and here it is now. Let's get the uh full screen- make sure we're in 1080p fun there.

It is now the display is beautiful, excellent, viewing angles, a lot of nits with the brightness, but watch this one bottom firing speaker not going to pause the video for this all right now shout out to VIVO for sending me the phones early. But this is not a sponsored video, so you all know I have to keep it real with you all, it's 2021.2021. It's 2021. ! There's no reason on the face of this earth that a phone should be more than 500 bucks and not have dual speakers. You got one plus with the word and 10 that phone is like 300, something but something bucks: dual speakers.

Okay, you got VIVO charging, 700 and 900 for phone with a single bottom firing speaker. I don't like that. All right, there's no way to sugarcoat it. I don't like that. But again this is a camera phone, so chances are.

If you're buying this phone, you don't really care about wireless charge. You don't really care about water resistance. You don't really care about expandable memory. Furthermore, you don't really care about dual speakers, but most people do I most people. Do I don't see why they didn't just drop another little speaker right in the top somewhere? This is what I don't like to watch this you see now.

Why is that important? A lot of times you'll be holding your phone in your hand like this, and you'll, be muffling out that one speaker same thing on both phones, all right, beautiful, bright display a lot of niches all right. You know I feel about the niche a lot of nits, but no dual speakers. That's a that's an automatic no-go for me, but this phone makes up for it with the camera all right before you, I know you're getting ready to exit the video stay, stick around, don't leave yet don't leave yet because you're gonna miss the best part. So if you're going to use this as a daily phone you're not going to have any problems all right now, here's what I want to focus on the camera, all right! The camera is what separates this phone from the OnePlus and a lot of these other phones out that you're going to see for seven eight nine hundred bucks, this phone, the camera- I'm not gonna, say it's better than the galaxy, because it's not, I'm not gonna, say it's better than an iPhone because I don't think it is. But it's up there, I just upped it.

It's definitely better than the OnePlus, it's definitely better than the ROG 5, which I got in my pocket right now, it's better than a lot of phones. That's out right! Now, all right, there's only a couple of phones that I can think of off the top of my head that I would rather have in my pocket for camera status. The Sony Xperia that camera is ridiculous, iPhone and galaxy. Okay, but this camera is right up there. Let's take it over to the camera.

Now you got a bunch of different modes. Now I'm to try not to sound too nerdy. I don't want to get too uh, techno spec note, but you got high resolution. You got night mode. You got portrait, oh one of the things about night mode.

That's pretty dope, too! You got super wide angle, the night mode, shots yo. What you see the night mode pitches, it's gonna, look like I'm using the flash, but when I take pictures at night I don't use the flash, but the pictures just look mad bright. You got portrait mode, all right, which is pretty sick. You got photos. Furthermore, you got super wide.

All the way up to now listen to this 60 times zoom. Now anything over 50 in my book is considered. Scumbag zoom. This is 60 times scumbag zoom. Now I'm going to show you all something right.

Now it's going to blow your mind in a second, you got videos all right. So if you go to settings real quick resolution, you got 8k. Okay, you got 8k 4k 60 frames per second now. This is another thing all right. This is another thing now I really want to talk about this.

For a second, I know a lot of you all heard the no wireless charge. No dual speakers. You are immediately like all right SpongeBob face, I'm a head out. I know you said that, but this phone right here, if you enter pictures and videos, you need to pay attention all right now. Let me show you something one real quick remember! Last year the VIVO x50.

Now I never got around to doing my smartphone at the year awards, but this phone would have had the sleeper phone of the year. This phone would have. I definitely would have give it the stabilization award of the year when it comes to videos. Now I'm gonna, let you all know whenever I do my camera test, I do them exactly the same right. I open the camera.

I stand outside, and I just pan from right to left. Furthermore, I don't use a stabilizer. Furthermore, I don't use a gimbals because when you're in the real world you ain't going to be like. Oh, do me a favor pass me that DJI stabilizer. I want to watch this fight.

You see two people fighting this. You know it's just start getting crazy. Furthermore, you want to grab your phone, you want to start recording, and you're going to be moving like this. So when I do my camera test, I just move like this watch. The video I did for the uh red magic six watch, the video I did for what you're going to see tomorrow or the day after for the ROG watch some of these other phone videos.

What you got to pay attention to is, when I'm panning side to side pay attention. If you see the phone moving around like this, or you see it framing, you see the frames like catching hiccups. That's one thing I hate! That's why I love iPhones and galaxies for taking videos, because when you move side to side, it's silky smooth this phone right here might be the smoothest all right. That's a big statement. This might be the smoothest even smoother than the galaxy right up there right up there with the iPhone.

I wait to see the video again. I go to the gym a lot, so I got the jimmy arms if you all know what the jimmy arms is right, that's when you work out a lot, and you get home and your hands are shaking whenever I do these camera tests, I'm always on the way home from the gym. You know that's my motivation to go to the gym, so I always got the jimmy arms. So I'm the perfect person to test these phones for stabilization because chances are my hands are already shaking I'm already, I'm trying my hardest to keep still, but you see a little shake age all right. Shake itch on this video that you're going to see right now that I'm about to uh post no shake age all right, so you got 4k videos.

You got uh pro mode again change your white balance, ISO shutter speed, autofocus go crazy, and you got more. You got panorama, you got live photos, slow motion, time-lapse ar stickers, supermoon. Furthermore, you can actually point this up and take pictures of the stars. Now, I'm over here in south side queens. They know stars all right.

There, ain't no stars over here. We got time-lapse. Okay, we already did it uh documents, Castro mode, that's what I was talking about. Castro mode now I tried to use this last night. Take a picture of the sky.

This guy was like nah, nah. You got our pro sports, slow, shut up and double exposure, so think about all those camera modes. Now I'm going to open up, let's open up the uh regular pro just so you can see you got night mode portrait. You got photos now when, with this one you're only getting 20 times, zoom all right, that's kind of trash Beckett trying to trash back basket trash. What is it trashing basket? Trash basket? All right, that's the word! That's kind of trash basket, but it's not scumbag zoom all right 20 times! Zoom is still pretty good.

You got video. Let's go to resolution, you got 4k and for the frame rate 60 frames. So if you want to you, can rock 4k 60 frames, no 8k, all right, no 8k, but 200 cheaper! Now, here's the thing now this is going to blow your mind. Watch this now I'm going to pull up I'm going to pull out my I'm going to pull out my OnePlus 9 pro. I want to show you something all right check this out.

Now: here's the OnePlus 9 pro okay and here's, the VIVO x60 pro plus now to get an idea of what I'm shooting it's this little plaque. That's on the wall, so I said you know, let me try to zoom and see which one has the better zoom. So I'm zooming in on both this is the maximum zoom. I got with the OnePlus, which is pretty good, but look at the zoom on the Vito. You can see the guy's face.

Look at this one and look at this one. You can see the pimples on his face. You know what I'm saying like it. It just looks better. It looks better now.

A lot of you all were saying that yeah I didn't like the OnePlus photos. There was trash. I don't like to use that word trash. Unless something is garbage, I wouldn't say the OnePlus photos was trash, but they aren't the best. These are, I think, you're going to like these better.

Now I took all the same pictures, so I think you're gonna, like these better and the portrait mode on this beautiful anyway, take a look at these test, pictures and videos. Now I'm going to start off with the x60 pro we got daytime nighttime and some video, and then I'm going to go to the x60 pro plus same thing, daytime nighttime video. I throw a little music in the background, so you can bop your head and just relax and enjoy the pictures. Now one more thing: some people are saying that I post too many pictures in this part of the video but here's my reasoning behind that I could pull out a phone for 150 bucks, a g90 I, the blue g90. If I get the right shot and just post that I can say that one picture and say look, this phone is: has a dope camera look at this one picture: any phone can take one good picture with the right settings in the right atmosphere.

But how does it look when you take one picture? One picture one picture daytime evening nighttime: you want to see a little more. Alright, I want to just show you one great night shot and one great daytime shot. I want to show you all a plethora of photos. All right, so big words alert, enjoy this plethora of photos right now, foreign, so so all right, so you've seen the camera test for yourself on a scale of 1-10 when it comes to photography when it comes to stable video. These phones are a major major major go but overall on a scale of 1-10.

I give both of these a solid go with our bodies. X60 pro I wouldn't spend more than 500 bucks and the x60 pro plus, I wouldn't spend more than 700 bucks. Now these are nice phones, but in this day and age, there's just way too many things missing. No dual speakers, no reverse wireless charging. No wireless charging, no quad HD display no IP rating, no color choices.

Everything that I just named. You can find on similar phones for similar prices, but if you're heavy into photography- and you make a living off your pictures- are you making money or for the pictures that you take? Then you want to invest in a dope camera phone, but for casual people, you're not going to like this. You can get the same picture of that cheeseburger on an OnePlus on a galaxy from last year. They all gonna, look nice all right. So look VIVO you all need to lower the prices on these phones because the price is a little of and if you don't know what that means, that's too goddamn high, all right Vito.

I appreciate you all sending me the phones, but look it's not about you all. It's not about me! It's about the consumers! All right people come to my channel because they want a real review. They don't want to get sold to dream all right if you all want to see a commercial go watch a sponsored video they're going to sell this phone to you, but me, I would say: don't buy this for over 500 bucks and don't buy this for over 700 bucks all right now, if you're going to start spending 900 bucks, even though this camera is dope, why not spend 900 bucks and get a galaxy? That's water resistant? It has wireless charge and reverse wireless charge and dual speakers all right. That was my main dealbreaker for me, the no dual speakers. Nevertheless, I like the phones, the cameras are dope, but um they might be DOA unless the price drops anyway, VIVO x60 pro plus x60 pro hit me up in the comments.
