OnePlus Nord 2 5G - How Color-ed is Oxygen OS? By TechWiser

So, this is the one plus not two one plus latest and the first one was phoned with a MediaTek chip, 65 watt, wire charging and, of course, of course, the new oxygen OS 11. Rather, the question that has to be asked is how similar is oxygen, OS now to color OS, or rather how colored is oxygen OS. Well, this is techie. The sim card tray can hold two sim cards and no micro SD card expansion. Now we had a lot of build issues with the word CE. If you remember the frame started popping out after some time here it closely.

You can hear the sound. Even this has a plastic frame we'll see how it goes now. This phone seems to be built. Well, it feels compact, but still a bit heavy, of course, due to the glass back and a 4500 my battery, which is divided into two cells. Now in OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9, pro OnePlus was restricting 100 plus apps to run on the higher cores, which leads to really poor performance in these apps, for instance. Here this is OnePlus 6t with snapdragon 845, quite an old phone, but with oxygen OS 10. This is Pogo x3 pro with snapdragon 860, which is actually snapdragon 865, and this is demand city 1200. Now, when we run speedometer 2.0, you can see all the phones score the same around 50. In fact the Poco x3 pro beats not two.

So this is a 2018 flagship. This is a 2019 flagship. This is a 2021 flagship, and I'm purposely not including Oppo Renault 6 pro in the comparison, because color OS oxygen OS same code base. It has the same problem now. OnePlus has promised that this app optimization throttling will be optional in oxygen.

Os 12. Well, we'll see you will see. But having said all of these, these are just benchmarks, and they don't give you the full picture. I'll speak more about this issue after testing it more in my full review. Another interesting thing is the software on the note 2 itself, the note 2 comes with android 11 right out of the box.

Well, as of now there's no bloatware or any ads on this phone oxygen. Os 11 comes with June security patch. Now the camera app is changed to color OS and even the settings menu is changed to color OS. If you look at the settings menu on the note, 2 and not CE side by side, you can see this personalization menu right now, and it has the options to customize the always on display. But then you go back.

There's ambient display as well, which should have been the part of customizations or display confusing right, it's okay, to use color OS settings and menu, but it should be more in line or sync, with the oxygen OS menu moving on. As you would have known, the camera app asks for the phone permission, which is sort of weird long back. I asked realm about this, and they said it's needed for video calls, but you video call through the phone app and not the camera app. So my guess is it checks for phone permission to know whether you are getting a call or not to just mute the mic, nothing previously invasive, but unnecessary, loophole and shouldn't be required. Weird, then you have this agree to continue on the launcher.

The UI is still not settled now. The integration of color OS has also brought better things like the camera, has now improved. First, you get a 50 megapixel, Sony, mix, 766, f, 1.8 sensor with is 8, megapixel, f, 2.25, wide angle, camera and, of course, 2 megapixels, monochrome sensor on the front. Now, there's a small problem with the camera whenever you take selfies in HDR mode, it just over processes the photo- and you would see this weird white effects around the face again I'll test it out fully after two three camera updates and will update you in the full review. Stay subscribed for that and the phone comes with all the important features you get: Wi-Fi: six Bluetooth, 5.2, good, 4g, plus carrier aggregation like other OnePlus phones and also for the first time OnePlus. Not 2 has 65g bands nice now, unlike everyone who is upset with the merger of oxygen OS and color OS, I think it's fine oxygen OS was lacking a lot of features and the development was almost stopped. Color OS now brings perfect features, like gestures, always on display, customization etc.

Now they are offering two years of android updates and three years of security update, which is appreciated, good one, but now here's where the problem starts. Even realm phones have color OS, which is priced way less than one plus phone like real max 7 has the same chip and was launched at 27 000 and was sold for just 25 000 during the sale. So why do I get a r2 at 30000, which essentially has the same OS so now, OnePlus and Realme phones, both are same.

Both are online brands. The only important thing to distinguish OnePlus phones is ads, the OnePlus note2 doesn't have ads, and that is the main selling point of not too so. Yes, if you need a phone without ads, then you can consider not to well yes, considering that there are rumors that OnePlus 9t series won't come this year. This right here automatically is the best not series to buy in India. Not CE, just isn't good enough.
