OnePlus 8T Release Date and Price – OnePlus 8T Pro 65W Charging

With the success of the OnePlus 8 earlier this year. Our attention is now focusing on the OnePlus 8t release date and price, so I've decided to tell you everything we know so far for the OnePlus 8t two models that are upcoming, including info about the OnePlus 8t pro 65 watt charging. So if you want to hear the latest gaming news, tech news reviews and comparisons hit that subscribe button, followed by the bell, with the announcement of the note 20 and the iPhone 12 incoming, there are a few other smartphone brands out there looking to release their latest flagship phones. Today I want to talk about OnePlus and particularly all the details about the OnePlus 8t launch date, the OnePlus 8t pro launch day, as well as the OnePlus 8t price and the latest on the design and specs for it. But before we go diving in on the OnePlus 8t pro price and other details, I would love to know what your current phone is right now. Do you own an android phone like a Samsung or OnePlus, or maybe you're down the apple route in owning an iPhone? Also, what are you planning to buy is your next phone.

Let me know in the comments below, as you are watching this video so right off, we can still say it's early days on the details of the OnePlus 8t pro the OnePlus t. Models are known to be a polished version or the turbo version, as it were, of the phones that came out earlier in the year. For example, the OnePlus 6 was followed by the OnePlus 6t and then the seven followed by the 70. And, if you compare say the 7 to the 7t pro and design wise, they are the same, but the specs of the 7t are slightly better than on the s7. So right away.

We know that the OnePlus 8t is set to be an improved version of the OnePlus 8 and the 8 pro, which was released in April, but it'll be far ahead of, say. The recently released OnePlus word, which is an affordable mid-ranger, the brand unveiled between launches of its big phone this year. So first the 80 release date and price. We haven't heard any official, not much on room and pricing or release information for the OnePlus 8t yet, but that doesn't mean that we don't know anything. We can look at past releases to predict what the new phone or phones will launch at and how much they will cost as well.

The OnePlus 17 phones were announced in September 2019, but the OnePlus 6t was launched in November 2018, and we can't be sure about a launch month, but it does seem that the release will be towards the end part of the year. That's quite a wide potential release date at this time, and given that the Ovid 19 pandemic has affected smartphones and other tech supply chains, we could see that the OnePlus 8t announced right at the end of that window. Potentially it's also worth pointing out that OnePlus has always asserted the team models in never being guaranteed to be released every year. If you go way, way back the OnePlus one and the OnePlus 2 didn't actually have any team models, so one plus are sticking to their guns. Saying a t model may never get released.

However, we do predict that a t or 80 to be specific will be released for price, I'm afraid at this stage. It is another question mark, but we expect it to launch at the same price or maybe just slightly more than the OnePlus 8. , that phone cost 699 us dollars for its most affordable version and the OnePlus 8 pro started at 899 us dollars. So we could see that the OnePlus 8t pro could arrive around at the same price. Moving on to specs and design OnePlus have pushed for a good few years, but speed is the main point of their phones, so all their flagships in recent years have had top snapdragon chipsets.

Apart from the recently released word, however, for a mid-ranger phone, it has got one of the top chips inside it. But if we look back, the OnePlus 7t used the snapdragon 855 plus chipset, a slightly better version of the snapdragon 855 chipsets that the OnePlus 7 used. Then the OnePlus 8 had the 865 snapdragon chipset and recently at the latest Samsung event, a lot of their devices from Samsung had the 865 plus snapdragon chipsets. Inside though, it is likely that the OnePlus 8t will have that same 865, plus chipset, so to go along with that chipset we've got the ram, and we definitely expect to see a 12 gigabyte ram model, but we may also, for the first time ever from OnePlus c, a 16 gigabyte ram in the 8t, and this would be unbelievable for 2020 specs of a smartphone. Another big rumor and leak we have heard is that the OnePlus 8t might have a new 65 watt charger.

What would be a big deal? The last generations of OnePlus phones have topped out at 30 watt charging and the boost of 65 watt would make the OnePlus 8t a valid competitor with its Oppo and Realme rivals to use that speed. This could mean a naught 100 charge in just under an hour and from going down this technology line, we can definitely see why OnePlus don't really want to put wireless charging in their phones to keep the cost down, because we can see them advancing in new technologies in actual wired charging. Instead, the other big news surrounding the OnePlus 8t design is that there might not be a McLaren edition phone, despite previous OnePlus t handset, having such a phone coming out soon after the release. This, because it seems OnePlus, is no longer a McLaren sponsor making it unlikely. The two brands will continue their smartphone cooperation, but for overall design we imagine the design won't change much if any.

Just like the OnePlus 7 pro to the OnePlus 7t OnePlus might have signed up with a new partnership with another company, but they'll probably reveal that at their launch event, just like what Samsung just did at the note 20 release and also other smartphone companies do as well for the actual screen. The OnePlus 8 pro, for example, had a 120hz maximum refresh rate twice, that of the standard 60 hertz found on typical phones. If you have lived under a rock recently and don't know what a higher refresh rate means, it basically means a smoother experience when navigating through menus and scrolling, and also when you're playing games and also when you're watching videos. If they support it, it basically means the actual image that you see on your screen is being refreshed at a far faster rate. So when you've got say, for example, a game if you're playing like a mobile FIFA and the football was moving from one side of the screen to another, you'd actually be able to keep track of it much better compared to a screen where it had a lower refresh rate.

It is worth pointing out, though, the normal OnePlus 8 didn't have a 120 hertz screen. Instead, it packed the same 90 hertz that was on the OnePlus 7t phone and the OnePlus 7 pro that wasn't a bad refresh rate it's better than 60hz, but we would like to see that in the new 8t normal for the actual screen sizes themselves, we're actually expecting them to stay the same as the 8 and also at the 8 pro as well. This isn't the end of the world being that the screen sizes are a good size. But again I would say it would be nice to have the normal 8t to have a 120 hertz as we're now in 2020 and going forward most screens in phones will have a high refresh rate. You got to remember also that OnePlus was one of the first companies to introduce faster screen refresh rates in early 2019.

Am it great to see if this was the first company to make an affordable phone with 120 hertz, refresh rate too, to show that those killer flagship features are inside their affordable handsets now? I know I've banged on a lot about the refresh rates, but this is what I said. This is what OnePlus is all about. It's about speed. They love speedy charging, they love speedy processors, and they also love a speedy screen as well for camera setup, though, the OnePlus 8 had a glaring absence in its camera department in the lack of a telephoto lens. In fact, the none pro OnePlus phones consistently miss out on the zoom photography tech, so we're hoping that OnePlus has listened to their customers and may now remove that macro lens.

Well, no one really uses and change it to a telephoto lens instead, but we will just have to wait and see another note about the OnePlus 8 from myself, and also many other people who reviewed the phone and critics and that it wasn't the best value that we'd seen from a Chinese phone maker with competitors like Oppo and Realme who have now given a similar experience and a few more features for a little less than the OnePlus 8. It was a little hard to chew to get one compared to these other brands. However, you do get that oxygen OS and if you're shopping for a new android handset and wants a near to close android vanilla experience with many security updates and new android OS's in the future. We are sure that the OnePlus 8t will be worth buying as long as they've tweaked, a few extra features into the phone. So, as I said, it is quite early days at the moment and not too many leaks have come through so remaining features like pixels per inch and say the actual battery size.

We are not too sure how big the battery is going to be and what the pixel per inch is going to be either, but I'm sure, as we get closer to the release of the 8t and the 8t pro more details and leaks, will come out, and I will be sharing them with you. So what are your initial thoughts on the OnePlus 8t so far? Will it be on your shortlist for your next phone you'll want to buy, or we be buying something else.
