OnePlus 8 Vs iPhone XS! (Comparison) (Review) By Simple Alpaca

Welcome back everyone, we're gonna, be talking about none other than the 1+8 versus the iPhone 10s and the iPhone 10. This has been out for a couple of years now came on in 2018, so it makes sense why you know this might be a random comparison. You might think, but honestly, there's still a lot of similarities, and maybe even some pros for the tennis ? who knows, but one of the bigger differences would definitely come down. Is the price tag the iPhone will? First, do you want plus a cost me Ellen over nine hundred dollars to buy? Actually, this was the top-tier model they have sold out of the base model, so I had to buy this one, and this one costs $7.99 for the base model $8.99 for the top tier model wears only 10s. You can actually pick one of these up for less than $500 I believe definitely less than 550. So that's still a very good price.

I mean this. One was only one generation behind and that's a killer price to pay for a phone like this, so I'll go and leave both of these linked down. In the description below so you can get them from there and help support the channel. At the same time, now, looking on the front, I'll go and talk about I guess the iPhone 10s first, this one, my best dated came on in 2018 at the end of 2018. So it's not like assuming that a little phone, but it has a 5.8 inch. Super red, not OLED, display its 1125 by 24 36, and it's really not that bad of a phone.

It's not that bad of a panel. It has four such on it, which is really cool. So you can like four such and hard press into something and get the details. I, don't know why it's not working right now. There we go, but it also has true tone display and if you guys don't know what true tone is.

Basically, it just adds a little of warmth into the display, which makes it look really, really cool. So I think that's an extremely awesome thing that the iPhone 10s has going for it that a lot of other phones don't even have now the display. You know the bezel there's not a lot of bezels or run up, but you do have that notch up top, which is something that might you know affect you a little. It might make you feel a little uncomfortable, but to me, it's perfectly fine, I, really don't even care anymore. So the way the display looks and everything I think it's a thumbs up in my books for sure wears on the OnePlus eight.

You know. Definitely, you know it looks a little better than the iPhone 10s for sure you have a six point. Five inch fluid AMOLED display it's a 1080p display. So technically the resolution is a little worse on this than the iPhone 10s, but, like I said before, OnePlus makes pretty good 1080p pianos, and this panel doesn't even like, if you just show, if you just showed me this panel- and you were like oh look at it, I would have probably just windows.1440P like I have no reason to think. Otherwise.

It's a really good-looking pen, but an extremely awesome thing about this display is that it does have a 90 Hertz refresh rate on it, so you can just go, enable it in the mixer screen. Look how much smoother and the one plus a pro does have a 120 Hertz, which is really cool, but I still think 90 Hertz is perfect for a ton of people. So definitely, at the end of the day, the display is perfect. You have very little bezel or run it, and you have the whole puss display. So definitely one plus a has a very good display on it and when you kind of look at them side by side, you can kind of tell you know the differences in size and honestly, if you feel on both, you can't, I can't really tell like which one is a crazy, bigger or anything that one plus head is definitely longer.

But it's definitely, you know, slim ?, which is nice, and you can definitely tell I mean, in my opinion, I think they want. Plus eight probably looks a little better here on the bottom. Lightning port on the iPhone 10s USB type-c, only one plus eight and on the back glass bags on both I do have a skin on my iPhone 10s, but you have a triple camera set up on. You want plus a bit a dual camera set up on the 10s, so you can definitely kind of see what's going on here, and you know: I'll talk about the cameras in a second, but just keep this in mind more camera sensors. It doesn't necessarily mean that it's a better camera overall, so kind of keep that in mind so in terms of the outside I.

Think that really pretty much covers it up for the most part. Well is one more thing: they both have IP certification, but the weird thing is: is that apparently the unlocked version of the OnePlus 8 does not have IP certification, so I have IP 68 s, water resistance on the iPhone Sun s, but this one doesn't have any IP certification, which is extremely weird, so I, don't know why that keeps happening, but it is something to consider at the end of the day, so my specific model might a habit, but the 18, t and I think team will provide and whatever other models are I think those have it, so I think that's a cool thing at the end of the day. So in terms the outside I think that really pretty much covers it up here. I'll go and hit on the software. Now, when it comes under this thing, as I've said before, iPhones probably end up lasting longer than a lot of Android counterparts, but OnePlus does a perfect job at their software, so the 1+8 you know starting off with android 10, and it's on oxygen OS, which is really nice I, like this software a lot but based off my experience and based on everything that I just looked at I kind of think that the one plus eight is going to be ending off it at Android 13, based on everything that I've seen, there's no way to like verify this or anything, but based off everything that I've seen is probably enough Android, since the one plus five and five tier so supportive.

So that being said, I mean that's an extremely long supportive. You know phone cycle for sure, and I think this is still an perfect phone. When it comes down to the software, the software is clean and minimal. So for an Android phone, it's going to be lasting for a pretty long time. In my opinion, however, even compared to something like the iPhone 10x, which came out in 2018, this thing could have the potential to have lasting, yet 1+8 still, so this thing started off with I was 12 right now, we're in iOS, 13 and, like I, said I, don't know exactly how one of the things going to stop getting support, I, don't know either.

One of these you know exactly, but I would probably say that the iPhone 10s is getting at least like three to four more versions of it. I was maybe at least three, maybe four for a lucky, so these could be putting you know ending off the same year. Potentially so it's not like. If you get you know, this phone is gonna, be way lasting longer than this one, but just keep in mind that they could be ending around the same time, probably within the year within each other. But if anything, the iPhone 10s is going to be out lasting, d1 plus eight potentially in the future.

So in terms of software that really pretty much covers it. Up to now hitting on the performance now I'll go and tell you. The specs are done a little of speed test between them. The iPhone 10s has that Apple a 12 chip, X or CPU, and four gigs of RAM and all the models with e1 plus eight has that Qualcomm snapdragon 865 chipsets in Arena, 650, GPU and eight gigs of ram on that base model and twelve gigs of ram on that top to your model. So, let's go and see which one is the vast room between both these okay.

That's going to clear out all the apps. In the background now I wish I phone, and I always had a thing. We can just click a button, and it could delete all these assets so knowing how I have to reload them every single time. But okay, there we go so, let's start loading up these third-party apps. Let's do face up.

Let's do Temple Run, 2, 3, 2, 1, and you can see me 1, plus 8 is definitely flowing ahead. The 10s says you know noticeably behind for sure we're loaded, only 1, plus 8, and now we're into it on the iPhone 10s hoedown actually took quite a bit of time on the excellent NS. There's a pretty big difference. There Netflix 3 2 1. There we go mumbles, they loaded all by the iPhone 10, that's a little after Quizlet 3, 2, 1 I'm, plus a loaded iPhone sign us a little behind stack three two ones.

We had a little of a pop-up here, but kind of the ad I think loaded faster on this one. On this one Snapchat 3 2 1, one plus a loaded, vaster forgot, the name of it. Snake burst blocks three two one: there we go home plus a loaded, followed by the iPhone silence a little. You know behind it getting into some gameplay. Let's see if there's a difference and like I said before I, don't think, there's going to be that crazy of a difference between them.

Fruit ninja three two one, and you can see I- think the one plus a way definitely a little faster, just slightly faster, a little Facebook three two one: the attendance was fast with almost, actually kind of tricky Sofa, three, two one: okay, possibly the one, oh yeah, definitely I mean this thing is still loading. It's gonna probably take a minute now, huh, there we go. We finally get into a little jump. Three, two one: okay I, definitely a 1 plus a way faster there. Twitter 3, 2, 1, 1, plus 8, followed by the iPhone 10s paper, I'll 2, 3, 2, 1 and uncle say faster, it's all by the 10s right behind it getting into some gameplay.

Let's see if there's difference and I, don't think, there's a difference at all: let's go and end it off with the Real Racing 3 3, 2 1 you, and that one pretty much covered now and I kind of like went off for a second. But, as you can see, probably the one plus a way faster I just want tennis is still loading that we're filing into it. So, honestly, what I can tell you was between both I kind of think that the one plus eight is probably the fast one. Between these two there was like two or three times when, like the attendance was faster but definitely more times than not, but one plus eight was the faster form between these two, so I'll go and do a full in that speaker. Person at some point now do a full in that camera.

Comparison too, but I'll probably hit on them briefly in this video first, so the iPhone 10s has a dual camera setup. Do you want us say it has a triple camera set up to 12, megapixel, sensors or wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens, where the 1+8 has a 48, megapixel wide-angle lens 16, megapixel, ? I can say, and I 2, megapixel macro lens and I kind of think that the 1 plus a camera is good? You know it's definitely getting the job done, but I think the iPhone 10s has the better camera sensor for sure you know we have a 4k 60 on both but I kind of think that the photo quality and video quality is better on the item.10 s and it's a shame because you know sometimes you know more camera. Sensor means the better camera. But that's not necessarily the case. You know I definitely do think, but when it comes down to both of these, the iPhone tennis probably has a better camera between both and on the front.

We have a 7 megapixel camera on the iPhone 10 s and the 16 megapixel camera on the 1 plus 8, and even between these, so I'll probably end up setting with the iPhone 10s. You have 1080p at 60 frames on this camera, or only 1080p at 30, only one plus 8, so I'm, probably understanding with the iPhone 10s for the camera lens now hitting only batteries. This is probably you know, really kind of slap in the face for iPhones. We have a 2006 58 million power battery on the iPhone Sun s like 4309 Elvira battery, only one plus eight, and when it comes down to both of these men, the home plus 8 definitely has a far better battery life. I mean this thing will definitely get you from point A to point B, and it's a very good battery life.

At the end of the day, it can definitely last you for as long as you want to the iPhone.10S really didn't have that great of a battery life, but this one definitely does have a perfect. They both have wireless charging everything, but the OnePlus say it's better. Life, in my opinion, is definitely far better, in my opinion, so to kind of sum up the video. It's answer that question man: should you pick up the 10s? Would you pick up the one plus eight honestly there's a lot of strong reasons to pick up the OnePlus say you know, I think the stock experience is perfect, even though mom plus eight is perfect too? The cameras are really great. The build quality is awesome.

You have IP certification on all models. The size might be a little easier to hold for some people and I think the iPhone 10s is still a perfect pickup for a ton of people. But you know the one plus eight is a very, very good phone. ? I mean it's a brand-new phone, you know I mean, so I definitely do think between both I mean I wouldn't go get at one plus eight, if I had an iPhone 10s and vice versa. If I'd want plus it won't get an iPhones on us either, but I definitely do think if you're on a budget, the iPhone 10.

This is probably the better way to go. But if you have a little more money to spend, maybe you won't.
