OnePlus 8 Unboxing: The Flagship You Need? | Price in 2020 in India: Rs. 41,999

Hey guys welcome to Gates 360, and today we'll be unboxing, the one plus a so, let's quickly check what we get in the retail box now before we go ahead, don't forget to subscribe to our Channel and also hit that Bell icon, so you're the first to know when I will be push out a new video okay. So let's go ahead and unbox the one plus eight or this is the retail packaging of the one plus eight similar to the 7d series of big red box with just the lettering in the front. We have some information about to the RAM and storage variant above the phone, but we have a look at that in anyways just a bit. So, let's quickly unbox us ok. So this is the 1 plus 8 in this is the Onyx black color variant, but it's also available in Glacial green and an interstellar glow, which, in my opinion, is the most interesting color. So this is basically the black version of the phone we give this aside.

For now, let's see where else we get in the box. Let's pop this top box open, and you have a little sleeve with some stuff inside so let's just take this out. We have a God for the red cable club. We have some SAR value, or we have some more information, some sort of oh, these are 1+8 stickers, or we have a Quick Start Guide, some safety information and the welcome letter, and you also have a sim ejector tool that just place this aside. For now.

Next up in the box, we have the silicone case with this new style of silicone case, with a never settle, boldly ribbon the side, which is interesting. We have the USB type-c cable itself in the classic OnePlus red color. Last but not least, we should have the charger. So this is the 30 watt walk charge, third PT charger that he got bundle in the box and that's pretty much it ok. So now that we've taken the OnePlus 8 out of the box, let's take a quick tour around it.

I'm just going to power it up. There you go, so the phone is actually pretty slim and pretty light. I wasn't expecting that it's soon for a pretty big display, but I think due to the slim bezels all around it does fit with other nicely and which is nice. Let's take a quick tour around the phone before we dive into the features and specifications. So it's a little tricky to see because it's the black variant, but I'll try my best over the right.

We have the power button, and you have that signature alert slider over the top there's nothing over to the side. We have the volume rocker and at the bottom, as you can see, we have one of the speakers. Furthermore, we have a USB type-c port, and you get the dual SIM slot. Now in the front, we have a pretty large. This is a six point: five five-inch full HD Plus display, and we'll talk about more about the display and the rest of the specification is just a bit.

So, let's just quickly set this up. This is oxygen OS based on Android 10. So let's quickly run through the setup process, and then we will resume with the tour of the 1+8 okay. So now that we've booted up the screen- or this is we can actually have a better look at the 1 plus 8. So let's just continue from the display itself.

So like I mentioned earlier, this is a six point: five five-inch full HD Plus display or as 1 + concert, fluid AMOLED display or since it is an AMOLED panel, you get in display fingerprint sensor right about here, which we've not set it up at the moment, but it's there. The display panel also supports 90 Hertz, refresh rate, so probably when we receive through the camera, but it does offer a much more fluid feel when you're scrolling and cycling through apps. It also has HDR 10 plus, so you will be able to watch or HDR content on it through apps and that's pretty much it about the display now over the size you can see it is a mighty curve on the sides, but there is a noticeable bezel over here. So it is easy to grip and I. Don't think accidental touches should be a major issue on this phone, at least in the bunch.

You have a selfie camera. This is a 16 megapixel, selfie camera or with the Sony Ionics 471 sensors. So this is oxygen OS, you take a tour and this is basically a gist of what the 1+8 is all about. So this is running on android, 10 and, of course, like the OnePlus 8 pro as well. This is powered by the Snapdragon 865 SOC, which does support 5g as well.

We have the top-end variant. This has two LAB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, but there's also a base variant with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, which is exclusively sold via Amazon and an 8 GB version ? with the same base, storage, the top and model we have is priced at 49,999 rupees, and you can see the prices of the other models on the screen. So this has a four thousand three hundred million BA battery, which does support fast charging. Obviously you get the one glasses warp charge: 30 P fast charging, however, it doesn't have wireless charging, so that feature is still reserved for the more premium. One plus a pro model, also missing from this phone compared to the one plus a pro, is, of course, the IP rating.

So this phone doesn't get the IP rating that the pro model has. So you get three cameras at the back, or you have a main 48 megapixel sensor. This is a Sony IMF 586. You do get optical image stabilization on the main sensor. Second, one is a 16 megapixel, ultra-wide camera and finally, you have a 2 megapixel macro camera.

One final thing is that the 1+8 also has stereo speakers, so you have one on the top and one at the bottom, and it also supports store the Atmos which is full, so that was a quick unboxing and a first look at the brand new one plus eight. We will be bringing in the full review of this for very soon so stay tuned for that, as always, thanks for watching and for all things, tech knock on the gadget, 360, calm.
