Samsung Galaxy A02s unboxing and first Look for metro by T-mobile By Varieties Teck

If you want to buy the phone unlocked, but if you want to buy the phone from metro, buy T-Mobile, you have to head to the store and the phone as of right. Now, if you just start a new number, the phone will cost you around 29, which is such a great deal for this phone, or if you have another number active with a different company, you will get the phone for free. So the phone doesn't help you to do a Google or Samsung pay. The phone is not military grade water and dustproof and which is something fine. In my opinion, for most of these budget phone, this is not rated, and also the phone doesn't have wireless charging, and this is something very common: we've seen. So the frame of the phone is a plastic and the back of the phone also is a plastic, and it feels uh cheap, a plastic. It doesn't give you this nice premium. Uh look to it the phone also kind of little chunky, but I understand that the phone has five thousand William power uh battery. Even these keys on the uh right side, the power and the volume down doesn't have any textures.

So normally you will get confused of going up and down for the volume between the power key other than that I mean I'm not, as I said like. I can't complain much because the price of the phone is not high and at the end of the day, if the phone in plastic or glass, it doesn't change much from the actual experience. Now there are two different variants of this phone, one with four gigabytes of ram 64 gigabytes of storage, which is always recommend going with a higher ram and memory, and this one available only if you buy the phone as unlocked through metro and T-Mobile, the phone only available with 32 gigabytes of storage and three gigabytes of ram, and also with metro available only in one color, which is the ceramic black. Now, let's talk about the main specification. The starting with the display, 6.5 inches, is still considered a big screen with 720p, for the resolution is still not high compared to the size. The screen aspect- ratio 20x9, which is very standard for these budget phones, 81 still infinity display the screen to the body ratio and the amount of PPI 270.

They don't really care about to have the best specs, the best display, color, etc. for this device. Now for the internal, however, the phone has snapdragon 450 from Qualcomm, and this is an entry level processor with the clock, speed, 1.8, gigahertz uh. This phone is 32 gigabytes or 3 gigabytes of ram, as I mentioned before, you can go with 64 4 gigabytes if you tend to buy the international variant now, since we use snapdragon 450, and this will limit you from so many things on the phone like, for instance, this chip doesn't support 5g.

This chip doesn't have the 4k capability and a super slow motion, the slow motion, etc. So the price is very limited, but it should be able to handle uh using the application, social media and play some video games here and there, and it should be no problems unless, if you want to go for a higher game, like maybe Call of Duty, or you're, trying to force the phone with the multiple apps on the background, so the phone going to start a struggle, but for people with a normal use. In my opinion, the phone will be fine. Now for the operating system, the phone has android 10 with 2.5 one UI as of right. Now I don't think so.

You'll have any problems. If you're not, I think, to buy the phone and keep it for so many years in advance. I believe you should be fine, and you're not going to miss a lot, because this is budget funds. Normally Samsung doesn't pay much attention for the updates for the software and the UI, or even the security patch. Now for the battery, the phones surprisingly have five thousand William, and I believe Samsung they're, trying to compete against Motorola, normally Motorola makes phones with high battery capacity.

This phone has 5000 William quick charge, 15 and using c type, so it means your phone charge 0 to 100 percent within two hours, and this is fast especially we're talking about 5000 William hour battery, and we don't even see 5000 William battery in the bigger phones. We didn't see that on the galaxy a52, we don't see this on the Samsung Galaxy s21. So it's always nice to see big battery gives you high performance on a budget phone like that one uh. This phone should also last you three days if you use your phone average of six hours a day which is insane in my opinion, or that will be translated to 15 hours screen on time. For the camera, we have a treble camera on the back, where we have main sensor, 13 megapixel wide, and we have 2 megapixel macro.

So give you a little of zooming and macro pictures, which is a nice thing, and we have two megapixel depth sensors. So unfortunately, this one doesn't have the ultra-wide camera, so you can't take ultra white uh pictures now for the front facing camera, have five megapixel camera? Now you need to know these cameras are so basic and like a lot of features, the camera video recording capability, it doesn't go over 1080p by 30 frames per second, you don't have the push to go even 60 frames per second, which is normal for budget phones and no 4k. No slow motion. Super slow motion and a lot of features will be missing in this phone, but you will have some basic features like taking portrait macro pictures and also there is no night mode situation and if you want to take pictures in the night or when you have low light situation, the camera it's going to struggle a little. But overall the camera was uh acceptable.

If we take the price on the consideration, the front facing camera is five megapixels and no exception has this basic performance, as we saw on the back camera, but it takes upward your pictures, ultra white selfie pictures, which is, does the job fine for people who don't want the best quality pictures for selfie. Now, at the end of the day, the Samsung Galaxy a02s made for people on budget or people not wanting to spend so much money on the phone. If you just want to do the basic functions on the phone uh, do your social media take pictures here and there uh download some games. This will be a great fit for you other than that. If you're looking for the top-of-the-line specs, and you want a higher performance, I highly recommend staying away from this phone.
