Official Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G S-View Flip Cover, Navy Unboxing and Review By Big Unbox

What is up guys welcome to the big unbox, where we do that small tech and today, I'm back with another big unboxing for you for the Samsung Galaxy s20 Fe, and today we're back with the s view flip cover to unbox, do a quick review as always I'll, throw up the link in the description. If you want to check it out, pricing is definitely going to be steep, which is pretty standard for this case. In previous variations, uh s20 Fe is gonna, be 50 bucks for this one only comes in two different colors, which is kind of disappointing. Usually they kind of give you a wide variety of colors, so you only got the blue, and then you got the white, so not a lot of color choices for this one, but let's go and check it out to see if it's going to be a hit or miss presentation. This is what you're going to get a little branding up top from Samsung and a little more at the very bottom shows what you're going to get, and then the back is going to just tell you what you're going to get, how you get the notification alerts and all that good stuff. So that's pretty much it.

Let's get right to the unboxing and check it out guys. I know you guys are looking for some nice cases for your s20 Fe. I did a review for this one, and this is the official um flip. Furthermore, I think it's actually the kickstand clear kickstand, which I actually like this one a lot. It's got some nice grip to.

It shows off the beautiful uh back of the phone, so anybody that's on the fence. I would say, check this one out if you're looking for a case right out of the bet now not saying it's the best value, because the pricing is like 35 bucks, maybe I might be 30. That's 30, 35 bucks, there's, probably better pricing out there. If you get like a speaking we'll get into that as well. But if you need the official case right off the bat, don't be afraid to check that out.

I'd say it's a hit, so we're going to put that to the side. You got a little of a literature we'll put that to the side. My first impression you can see the clear right here. That's going to give you the notifications, it's a kind of like a nice texture to it, it's kind of like a different I'm trying to think how fat, not a fabric-y, I'm trying to think it's like more like a polyester type fabric feel to it doesn't feel cheap, but it also doesn't feel that premium. It's got a little slipperiness to it as well.

I wish there's a little more grip to it, not saying that that's terrible, but it just feels a little slippery as the side right here. This right here has got the hard shell plastic, and it transitions from that to this material. But right here you can see, there's really no grip at all. It's got this basic hard. Shell plastic to it, you're, just not getting any type of grip on the side.

So that's kind of a disappointment. Why not give you a little drippy edges on the sides as well got the side is exposed around the actual volume rocker, and then you can see this part here has the same texture. So you are going to get this bumper around the edges. That's gonna hard shell plastic, and then you got this nice material, and again it doesn't feel too cheap, but it just feels a little different from I would have expected from them doesn't feel like up to kind of up to par with some of their other premium cases same exact, texture on the interior. Not a bad thing feels like really.

It does feel like it's going to give you some nice soft material on the interior and then around the bumper part itself is going to have that hard. Shell plastic. So keep that in mind, uh, no branding on that same thing on the interior of the actual flap, nothing, it's the same material. So it actually does feel soft to the touch got a little of branding right there cut out for the camera, that's pretty much it! Let's go and get right to it, we'll take this bad boy off. This is one of those cases that looks so good up front, but I do gotta say in terms of clear case: I'm not a huge fan because they start getting fingerprinted up.

They get a little nasty. You find yourself having to constantly wipe it down, wipe it down. That's how we do it, so it's going to wipe it down, make it look clean for the camera. Look at that red! Look at that shine! It's just a different type of red and I actually kind of like it. It's a deep red, dark red and then it kind of changes a little with the color.

You got like more of a natural color to it and when it kind of looks at a different way, you kind of get almost like a dark red and then maybe even like orange red some variations. In some light, I would say so nicely done- looks pretty beautiful. Let's pop it into place like this snaps right into place boom. Let's check that out. That actually looks pretty.

I like that. That's pretty nice! I wasn't sure about the color scheme, but that red on blue. I actually think that looks pretty nice. What do you think about that kind of surprised by the actual color scheme? That's not going to add too much one thing about this particular case um. It may look a little bulky, but honestly, it's not going to add too much bulk to your phone.

You can see the notifications right there very nicely done, gives you all your notifications uh time it gives you that you know your mail and all the notifications and the battery percentage as well, so very nicely done pop like this. Look at that very nice again I like this red on blue. I wasn't sure about that. I like how the trim pops out like that as well, and then you can see just a little of the red popping out from the camera. So nicely done.

Let's check out the camera protection yeah decent enough. You can see its kind of just a little of reinforcement around the camera area right there give you guys some different angles of it, not too bad, not creating you're not going to get great protection with this one, but this wasn't meant to be a heavy-duty case, but you are getting a decent amount of k protection. So, let's check out the lip, because everybody likes a fat Elizabeth photo bag like that. So you can see really not much of the protection, but most your protection is going to be when it's folded up like this, and really that's going to give you some more protection than you're used to anyways from just one of those cases that doesn't have that protection so, and it seems to work pretty seamlessly with. I do, got a screen protector on it.

So no issues at all with the screen protector. I think it's got a little protection right there, little slippage, nothing on the sides and then just a little on the corners. So that's pretty much it again, you're, probably basing if you drop it you're, hoping that this flap is going to be folded. So if you drop it you're going to make impact with this and not your screen, which should be good to go anyway. So nothing there completely exposed right.

There got your cutouts right here, speaker grill all exposed, and you know I'm not a huge fan of that. I almost wish they would have covered it up for dings. But again I think you're getting enough protection with this, and this that you won't have too many issues. It doesn't. The fold itself doesn't stay folded.

It's not exactly like. I wish that almost came up with a magnet to it. You know some of these cases give you a little of magnet to seal it shut where this flap just kind of hangs. So I'm not a huge fan of that. I wish there would give you a little more at least a magnet to make it secure when you're.

Actually, not you know when it's holding like look it just flops around. So when you're done, I like it to be sealed, and I just don't think you get that nice seal without a magnet and then this part is exposed. I do like the red popping through nicely done. You got your little mic port as well. So the question is: who is this for? It's really one thing: I don't, I think, you're getting your notifications, I like the little it does feel it looks premium.

It's going to be look like a little different from other case in the market, but one thing I would say: what else does it do? You're not getting any type of uh you're, not getting type of wallet slots like some of the other cases that they have so really just to kind of see your notifications on the side and give you some front coverage to me. I would say that it's not worth our price point. I would say to me this is just not worth it. The build quality is good, but it's not great. It's not worth 50 bucks, so I would say if you just like this case, go and check it out.

But for me personally, I think that there's a lot better cases you can do, especially if you want to show up that beautiful back of the phone. I just don't think that this is going to do you. I mean it's its decent enough, but I just don't think it's worth that price point. So I'm going to call it a miss. Let me know what you guys think in the comment section.
