Official Razer Phone Rugged Case Unboxing and Review By Big Unbox

What is up guys welcome to the big unbox, where we do that small second today, I am back with another say with me guys, big on boxing for you for the razor phone, and today we're back with one of the official cases from razor this one's actually going to be the rugged case that retails for $39.99. So it's definitely a hefty price. I'll put up the link in the video description, as always, so, if you guys want to check it out, so a lot of reviews looks like it's gotten three stars out of eleven reviews, so not the best reviews for such a premium price, but we'll see if it's a worth the price of admission. If it's a hit or miss guys, let me know in the comment section what you guys think keep the suggestions coming for the razor phone, so packaging wise looks pretty premium, let's go and get the top layer off. Let's see if we get inside, so you know, 40 bucks is definitely a hefty price to place each expect a premium product for the price of admission protective case for razor phone, the actual cases the packaging itself seems premium. You got a little Racer branding on the side.

You got the logo up top again logo popping through Racer zone calm and in the back it says what you're getting protection, secure, fit, enhance, grip and lightweight, and that's pretty much it so this one's that the rugged case. There is a couple other cases out there, so we'll go ahead and review those as well, but for now we'll go ahead and review the rugged case and see if it's a hit or not guys. Let me see if I'm struggling with the case, opening, though maybe see if I get the bottom open and busting out the knife or struggles here we go alright, so it looks like you can tear it. Let's see there, we go. Sometimes it's tough to do this by the camera, so I apologize, but there we go so here we go the case itself, I'm kind of here's how this feels, because it says rugged, but it doesn't appear to be much of a rugged case.

Inside of welcome to the cult of razor, got your nice just minimalist razor branding on the side or the back, and this is more of a matte type finish. So it's a matte black finish not going to cost fingerprints, which is nice. It's got somewhat of a grip. I would like to see just a little more grip on the sides. Maybe just some you know the edges, maybe grip more drippy, but it's not the end of the world.

One thing I am concerned about for rugged case. The bottom is exposed all your ports are exposed, so you're not really getting a rugged case. I do like the inside for gamers by gamers. This is actually a nice feel to it. It's got like a silicone feel to it.

Love that grin pop in there, though it's beautiful, but what I am concerned about guys. This is not a rugged case, I mean this is just one of those. It's definitely an ADD samba, but it's more of a minimalist case than a rugged case. So for the price of 40 bucks, I can't say how that's going to be a hit, but let's go and check it out. It might look beautiful on the actual phone itself, so we'll see pop it into place like dad.

So there we go. Give you guys a look at the back. So again you got the logo popping through give you guys some different angles of it, and it does look really nice I'm not going to lie. It does add a little something to the foam, so something different. This phone itself definitely looks different from any other phone on the market.

So definitely distinguishes itself. But again, I can't say this is a rugged case, so you do got some camera cut. The camera cut-outs, precise, and you can see you getting some definite good camera protection, so that part is rugged you're getting a nice camera protection, but again this one. The fingerprint sensor has to be exposed, but then you got everything else is exposed to see the volume up and down or exposed- and this is my main concern is the bottom is exposed. Do you argue in these two edges that are sticking out so hopefully, if you dropped it, it's going to hit these two edges? First, but again that whole bottom is exposed, does add a little of weight to the phone itself, not crazy amount.

But for the know rugged case, you would expect that add a little more bulk anyways lip protection you're getting some decent lip protection I'm, not quite as much as you would like for a rugged style case. If that's what you're actually looking for you can see it just raised up just a little. So if you do drop the phone I would be worried about the speaker over speaker, grill getting messed up just because that's such a big part of the phone itself, so that we've no main concern. But again everything else looks very precise and neat. But with that said guys for the price point for 40 bucks, I cannot say this is a hit simply for the fact that it's not a rugged case.

If this one was maybe 20, bucks, I'd say this one's a hit, but for 40 I'd say this is probably a miss. Let me know what you guys think in the comments section hit the subscribe button. We'll see you guys next time on the big on box, you.
