Nokia 6.1 Plus Unboxing & Overview Ideal Mid-ranger or Not

Hi there this is Transit Anna in this video, we'll be doing the unboxing and have a first look at this Nokia 6.1 plus, and this device was just launched here in India, and it sparked by the Snapdragon 636 a chipset and, as you can see, it comes with the 5.8-inch screen and the pricing for India will be fifteen thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine and this will be sold in India via flipped carts. So, let's quickly open this up and have a look and as you can see, this one has a notch design, and this is sort of the true successor to the Nokia 638 Nokia 6.1 was not that great when I reviewed it a few months ago. I mentioned that- and this is actually a true successor, because this has a good processor. That's the Snapdragon 636, and this is how it looks, but let's quickly open this up and have a look about that array. So we have the sliding mechanism for the box, and here we have the device itself and guys it does not be that heavy, but the build quality looks to be good. Let's just take this out, and we have that glass back on this and guys have to say it feels very, very premium justifies the price of the device in this range.

I would say in terms of looks, I haven't switched on, the device looks very premium, but again it's having that glass back, and I believe that having Gorilla Glass 3. So we also have the sim ejector tool over here, and some paperwork and stuff that'll be a warranty guy, let's see, what's the charger and one of the accessories that are supplied, so we're getting this, and it will be. Let me it's a USB type-c port that we are getting. So that's actually a good thing and what else in the box we just get a charge and no headset guys. That's what was there in the box.

So the charger is big, and it's again a Nokia branded charger. As you can see, we see it's the Nokia branding over here, and it just says 5 volts at to mine. That means, technically it's not a fast charger. So this is not a fast charger, but the chipset 6:36 does support charging. So I'll have to check later on and see if this device actually supports quick charging.

I mean it's not so regarding the box, so this is the device itself again, as I've told you look very premium in the hand. Also, it gives you that premium feeling anyways. First, let's look at the physical overview. Here we have the secondary noise cancellation, microphone and guys. This is metallic again built quality, as we expect with Nokia.

The break already seems to be very solid. We have the 3.5 mm headphone jack. We have the volume rockers and the power on/off button bottom mean vent for the main speaker, type C, port main microphone, and on this end we just have the SIM tray. Let's look at the configuration, what are they giving, and it's just? What do you say? Hybrid solution guys, so you can use two NATO sense of one NATO SIM and a micro SD card. They should have gone with the triple slot, considering that this comes with just 64 gigabytes of internal storage, so there I've felt a Nokia could have done improvements, anyways I have read: we have that dual camera Nokia, priming fingerprint scanner and again this is an Android 1 device.

So, let's just boot this up, and also this one- has that notch design and by the time it actually boots up, and I set it up. Let me give you a configuration overview. Thus, Nokia 6.1 Plus has a 5.8 inch, full HD plus screen in the 19 inch to 9 aspect ratios with the notch design. It's part by the stamp dragon 636 associate is outscore processor. It comes at 4, gigabytes of RAM and 64gb of internal storage.

Moving to the camera, it has a dual create camera setup. The main camera is a 16 megapixel at F 2.0 and the secondary camera is a 5 megapixel shooter moving to the front-facing camera. This is also a 16 megapixel shooter and the battery is a 3060 William hour battery, so guys have just finished setting up this device, and this is the first boot, and it has this dark theme, and it's already done started downloading some stuff. I mean it's as its Android 1 device, as you can see almost stock Android experience that you want to get you just swipe away and so Google apps are installed and some Nokia specific support apps. Apart from that, not a lot of bloatware on this.

If you go over here, let's look at the settings and if we go to about the go to the system, as you can see, it's running on the Android version 8.1 out of the box. So that's the good thing we have that and if we go back, if you look at the storage out of that 62 GB, a 64 GB about 52 gigabytes is available to you. So that's regarding the storage that you're going to get and again almost stock Android experiences that you would expect. So that's what it is and again guys it feels very solid in the hand. So that's actually nice thing again, but it has that notch design I know it's a personal preference, some people, preferring the not some, are not, but this is the notch design, and it's having 3,000 16 William hour battery, and you might be worried, but it's just having a 5.8-inch screen and the Snapdragon 636 SOC is actually good, so I feel the battery life should be also okay on this device and let's check the fingerprint scanner, and it's adequately fast, as you can see in fact, yeah pretty fast, but sometimes yeah and I feel the location of the fingerprint scanner is also correct on this one. The earlier Nokia 6.1, not the plus the fingerprint scanner location, was not in the correct position on this one. It's correct, but sometimes it's taking about half a second for unlocking.

So that's regarding the fingerprint unlock and let's also quickly look at the camera on this one, the 16 megapixel camera. That's the main one. Let's see how it does. I'm just going to allow all this, and this is a Nokia specific camera. Yes, they have done tweaks to this, so tap to focus option.

Is there, and we also have the portrait mode single portrait, dual or P IPM, the p IP means it'll use both I believe front and rare as you can see, yeah front as well as rear does, so those options are given, and if we go here, we also have the life bouquet. So this will use that secondary camera for the bouquet effect, and you can adjust a bouquet effect from here. As you can see, that slider is given and depth success, it says, and life bouquet, so I can be creased it, or I can actually increase it. This is the front facing camera. So autofocus is there even with this one as you can see, and we also have that dual norm even on this one.

So let me do one thing guys. Let me take some sample shots with this device so that you can get a better idea regarding the camera performance, but before that here is a word from the sponsor of this video that is maybe dotted n. Maybe Thunder beat Bluetooth earphones, look stylish with metallic body, you can take phone calls, and it supports passive noise cancellation. The ear hooks fit securely and stay in place, even when you are working out or running with Qualcomm CSR Bluetooth. I see the music quality is amazing and has great battery life.

It has HD stereo sound with super solid bass. It supports apex codec with lossless wireless audio use, coupon code, Ziggy 1950, not maybe dot in to get 15% discount, and all of me, we product, see link in the description below for more and for so guys here are some of the quick sample shots that I've shot with this Nokia, 6.1 plus in my office and artificial lighting conditions, and here are some of the samples taken and outdoor conditions and if you notice the sky, the colors are a little weird, and it has the bluish tent that I notice in terms of sharpness and details. Furthermore, it is fine, but the colors of the sky and everything the white balance is totally wrong, as you can see, and the exposure also yeah in this situation. Furthermore, it was fine but yeah. I'm a certain situation when there is sky etc, it's sort of overblown, so maybe they can fix it with the software update, and these are the samples taken with the front-facing camera, and we also have that portrait mode bouquet mode with the front-facing camera and the front-facing camera and artificial lighting conditions is average.

You have to be careful, otherwise the pictures can come out to be blurry and an artificial lighting conditions. The camera is struggling a little. So that's a quick look at this Nokia, 6.1 plus the camera. I was expecting a lot better. Maybe they can fix it with the software update in terms of build quality.

I really liked it so anyways. This was the unboxing of the Nokia point, one plus. What do you guys think about the same? If you have any other questions regarding this device to post them in the YouTube comment section below, and that's it for now, thanks for watching. This is Faith and I hope to see you in my next video take care guys.
