Nexus/Pixel/Pixel XL: Everything we know right now By TechRadar

Hello YouTube, John and James here, and we'll bring you new Nexus rumors I should see you pixel rumors yeah anyway Google's new phone they're coming their coming, pool, phones, multiple phones, two phones may be alright, so new Nexus yeah latest rumors, though saying new, pixel, pixel and pixel XL, rather than the 5x and 6p that we got large it'll take it might drop the famous iconic name. So we've had the pics we'll see tablet with other pics for Chromebooks. It looks like Google's going to roll that into one brand across the board. Now Nexus has been there for years and are you going to be really disappointed by losing the Nexus name? Yeah, I got a bit of a nostalgic name about it. Now it's got that sort of Google essence at smart. It's pure Android, it's well.

It was more affordable. Last year the sort of 6p did sort of break this off upper ceiling so be interesting terms of price. I reckon I'll. Do a similar finger. The only been much said about price just yet, but when can we expect it October? It looks like that's what I'm going to see an announcement anyway.

It may be a little later that we actually see the release of the phones but yeah two phones coming in October, so ya later trim. Furthermore, it says October. Fourth, for the launch. Now we've not had any official confirmation from Google. We are chasing them hard down, so it might not be exactly that date, but we definitely be pretty much around there and in terms of when it goes on sale, I'd, say end of October, maybe start of November to Google what about a month to get yourself sorted last year to actually get them out on the street MMM.

So it's two phones, one with a 5-inch screen and one with a 5.5-inch screen. Who do we think is making each which companies can we make a neat well, it depends on which rumors you want to listen to and realism, and I think that the front-runner at the moment is HTC to make both yeah, which would be interesting? They've not made a next device since the original Nexus the year. The original nexus, one way back when which is lovely tensor and hopefully this time around, if it is HTC, will see some done design language from the really nicely styled. One series lined up one m9 HTC 10, so hopefully that would look good um screen wise, as you say, around five and a half, hopefully both HD, the 6p dust. You are HD, the 5x was only for HD, so expect a bump, maybe of division on the lower one MMM, so both of these pixel phones or Nexus phones, whatever we're going to call them they're going to have a droid 7 on them as they launch those commits one of the first phones to actually have that new software.

One room is also saying Andrews 7.1, though, which will give it something it's highly new which be fantastic, yeah might unlock dates or daydream, VR aspect of which we know that's baked into new girl. But we've not heard too much about just jet to be fascinating to see. If, if Google rolls out with the new phones, it would be a really nice touch, something else power wise, you know. Are they going to be powerful? Yes, it looks like they will. However, the new ASUS before free deluxe, which was announced last week at A?fe, has a snapdragon 801 processors newer than the one you're finding a g5 and the HTC TN.

But it looks like the new Nexus won't have that newer chip they will stick with the 820, which is still excellent. It will still give you lots of power accepted to get about four gigs around, which is huge for a smartphone, so it should be up there with you Sam stones and you HTC's in the OG's in terms of performance, but it might not be quite as cutting edges it possibly could be yeah. So, in terms of cameras, it looks like it's going to be a similar setup on both with the 12 megapixel camera on the back and an 8 megapixel camera on the front, and both photos are likely to have 4k video recording that calling to one of the rumors we've seen yeah. That completely makes sense, and both senses are said to be made by Sony, which was makes a lot of sense. Decent image and quality.

Their Nexus phones to sort camera has been sort of a weak link in a lot of previous Nexus devices at the interest in cities. New phones are a bit better if they can really sort of get to the same sort of levels as the Samsung's, the iPhones agencies yeti's, if they can reach those same height them because they have been in the past a little below a quick one on design as well there's been leaked, renders of the Sailfish. The tubing phones are currently code named, selfish and Marlon. The selfish one has been leaked a few times its placing things like a nice, rounded all-metal body, similar a bit to the warm class free, /, iPhone, sort of style. You know the one that most people go ports, but it looks nice and sleek and if it does come true, you know it's not going to do anything crazy in terms of design by the looks of it, but it'd be nice and premium say it.
