*NEW* iPad Pro 2021 UNBOXING [Silver, 128 GB, 11-inch]

So, I'm going to be unboxing the 2021 m1 chip iPad Pro, so I'm going to talk through the specs really quickly, because I know not too many people care about them, but I just want to tell you guys the kind of iPad that I got, so I got the 11-inch iPad Pro with 128 gigabytes in the Wi-Fi version, and I got it in the silver color so that all retails for 799 dollars. Okay, so I have my scissors here. Oh once again, I did this again. If this is my last unboxing, which was my MacBook Pro unboxing apple. They are always so smart, and they put these little like pull tabs on here, even on the box like the outside box. So I'm just going to rip that off.

I don't even think I need scissors, but box is also very, very light. I was very surprised when I picked it up already struggling what's new okay, so we opened up this flap, so I am a tech YouTuber of sorts. Furthermore, I kind of just do whatever, but I know a lot of the other larger tech YouTubers got sent the iPad pros, as well as the iMacs and everything, but I did buy this with my own money so and there we go I'm doing this, possibly in the least graceful way. Okay, okay, it was upside down, okay, cool this thing's, like strapped in, like they really. They said this is not going to be sliding around.

This is like literally strapped in okay. That did it. Okay, and this is what the box looks like so now, I'm probably just about to like lean in and get really close and intimate. No, I'm kidding. I want you guys to be able to like to see the details of me.

You know I don't know pulling off tabs and whatnot, but so far uh like I said, it's really, really light, and also the box is a lot smarter than I thought it would be. I knew it was 11 inches. So, okay, let's do which tab. I guess there's only one tab, so we have one tab over here, and then it goes all the way around like what who designed this, what designer was like. We need to have even a graceful like tearing off the plastic experience.

All right plastic is off. This is the moment I have been waiting for. I've been way too excited about this thing. Okay, I'm trying to do this in the most graceful way possible, watching I tried not to watch any tech, YouTubers unboxing. I wanted to have my own experience, but if you're watching, then I guess I'm taking that experience away from you, I'm sorry, okay, I'm clearly struggling.

So let me just I'm gonna just like jimmy it out. Okay, I got it, so I'm gonna pull from this side. I think this is probably like hands down the least graceful unboxing I've ever done on my channel. I am struggling you guys, oh my god. Okay, there we go okay, all right! So now we have the moment cool damn.

This is so light, oh, my goodness. Okay, so I think I'm going to peel the plastic off first or should I take it out of the box and peel the plastic. I feel like they're, telling me to peel the plastic with this little like pull tab right here. Okay, so we're going to peel the plastic- oh, oh, my god wow that is so light. Also, it's so much it's way smaller than I thought it would be, I'm kind of shook, and I'm kind of obsessed, oh my goodness, okay.

So this is what it looks like. I got the silver color. As I said before there we go. I'm gonna, you know, look at the little design by apple in California first, and then we will actually do the whole entire iPad setup, all right so peeling this out- and this is quite large, and then we have an USB plug, and then we also have the charging cord. So that is all that's in the box, and then we have the manual literally three pages cool, good stuff right there.

Let's get to the part we actually care about which is turning the iPad on so, like I said first impressions. This thing is just really, really light. Alright, so now we get to peel off this plastic, I'm going to lean in again, okay, that was very satisfying. Then you come around the front here and there you go wow. Oh my gosh.

This is so nice, I'm like I'm, actually shook turning on at the top here. So I'm just going to push that button. Let's see, if anything happens, okay, we got the Apple logo, I'm amazed at just how light it is because I really wanted something that was light. Okay, it says hello swipe up to open, and then we are going to be choosing English, okay, so we're going to choose United States, and then we have quick start setup manually, bring your current iPhone or iPad near this iPad to sign in and set up as soon as I brought my phone near it, it was like set up. My iPad unlock to continue says connecting oh hold your new iPad up to the camera.

What in the world you all? This is what I'm? What is this technology? It's setting up your iPad? Oh my gosh yeah, as it's setting up my iPad. First things first like this thing, is so well-designed: okay, we're ready at face ID now. So, okay, welcome to iPad interesting, I feel, like I should say, welcome to. I guess it isn't called the iPad, but welcome to iPad sounds like a unfinished sentence: okay, get started: oh wow, cool, okay, so that's literally pretty much it so first things. First, I want to talk about how I justified buying the iPad.

It is not a cheap device. I had a couple of use cases that I actually came up with for why I think I could benefit from having the iPad Pro. So a lot of them are actually based around YouTube, whether it's actually creating content with the iPad or being able to edit videos- or you know like this being able to do an unboxing back in college. I always debated on getting an iPad, but I was actually never able to come up with any concrete use cases. I was basically able to convince myself not to buy it, and that was due to the fact that I was pretty okay with taking notes on paper, and I also enjoyed typing my notes too.

Furthermore, I was a computer science major in college, and I'm really not sure if you can code on an iPad, I just thought it would have been like too cumbersome to try and bring both my MacBook and my iPad to class talk about why I went for the 11-inch one instead of the 12.9-inch iPad. Really, the only difference between the 11 inch and 12.9 inch is other than the size of it, of course, but is actually the screen. So the 12.9-inch iPad has the liquid Dr uh retina display, and this one doesn't have it. But basically what that means is that's going to look a little brighter, as well as when you're, in like low light or just different lighting conditions like say, you're trying to read outside, then you actually will be able to read outside off of the 12.9-inch iPad. I couldn't justify spending that much money on an iPad, and I think at that point I think it's about 900 or a thousand dollars, and I think at that point once you're paying a thousand dollars for a tablet.

That's a little ridiculous and I think you might as well just go for the MacBook Air or something else that you can actually able to use other pieces of software on next. I want to talk about something that I debated on for a really long time, and it was whether to get the iPad Pro or the iPad Air. So, as you know, the iPad Air came out. I believe, last September in a couple different colors, and it really got upgraded a nice boost to it, and it was a really, really great mid-tier iPad. So, along with that, the differences between the iPad Pro and the iPad Air, it was actually faster than the iPad Pro at the time, and then it also comes in different colors.

It doesn't have LIDAR, and then it also has touch ID instead of face ID. Those are really the main differences between the 11-inch iPad Pro that I'm speaking specifically to and the iPad Air. Of course now, with this new upgraded version with the m1 chip, there is a huge major difference by having the m1 chip in the iPad. So I think that does really play into whether you want to get the iPad Pro or iPad Air. But what really did it for me is after I watched so many videos about people telling me, should I go for the iPad Air for the iPad Pro one guy explained it so well- and I was so convinced right after that, but he was basically saying that the iPad Air comes in at 599 for 64 gigabytes.

The iPad Pro is 799 for 128 gigabytes. If you do the math on that, the iPad Air is uh, 9.35 cents per gigabyte, while the iPad Pro is six dollars and 24 cents per gigabyte. So when he said that I was like oh my gosh. That is so such a smart way to look at it, but apple gets you. The 256 gigabyte iPad Air is 749.

So the reason why I said apple gets: you are because there is no 128 gigabyte iPad Air there's only the 128 gigabytes iPad Pro so, of course, apple knew what it's doing. It's marketing, it's whoever sales. I don't know who deals with that stuff, but they knew what they were doing when they priced it at uh, 799 dollars for 128 gigabytes and leaving out the option for that on the iPad Air. Also, I'm holding this so loosely. I don't know if you could, like it's just so light, so I also didn't buy any accessories with my iPad.

So I'm the thought of spending 300 on the magic keyboard, just like kind of makes me want to throw up. I'm not even gonna lie just because that is so much money, and it's like I could at that point almost buy MacBook Pro. I could be gone to buy a MacBook Air, so if anyone has any RCS for a keyboard that is similar to the magic keyboard, that's like I would even do like half the price.300 is just a little ridiculous. Please send those RCS my way. I do think I will purchase the Apple Pencil.

I have to see if I really need it and if I do end up purchasing it, I will actually go with an apple Apple Pencil instead of trying to buy like a third party stylus, just because I think that a lot of the features that it has in here are pretty smart, so if you guys did enjoy this video be sure to give it a like also subscribe to my channel. If you are new, I do videos on tech lifestyle as well as I did a fashion video last week. I just kind of do whatever um. So if any of those topics interest you be sure to subscribe to my channel, and I will definitely have more iPad Pro content coming your way.
