New Apple Watch Series 6 Leaks & Rumors! Big Update

Thanks to Dollar Shave Club for sponsoring this video hip pity hop, hey guys, what's up Sammy or welcome back to another video. This time. Talking about the six generation version of the Apple Watch alongside watch OS, seven, two products that was not yet announced. We've got some good details on not only the next-generation version of Apple Watch hardware, the series 6, but also on the next generation software watch, OS 7 that 9 to 5 Mac has been nice to share. There's new hardware features coming like blood oxygen, saturation monitoring and things in the software, like the ability to share watch faces and new watch faces like those that sit behind me entirely. Looking forward to the new Apple Watch and watch OS 7 drop a like if you're excited it does seriously help the channel out when you guys do that and of course hit subscribe.

So you stay up to date on the latest Apple news. We got some good stuff today, I'm, not even a lot of you guys. It is some pretty fresh, scoops, and I'm here, for it now is promising. As the software features in this video are sounding I want to actually start off with hardware on the physical features, we're hearing for the next-generation Apple Watch now, as always guys its possible. Some of these could be delayed I'm not over there talking to Tim Cook on the phone every day, although I mean I wish I was give me a call Tim if you're interested the first one that I mentioned earlier is blood oxygen, saturation monitoring, and this is really important.

It means because you own veins that carry oxygen to your body, and it keeps important things like the old noggin up here running it. You got to make sure that you have I, think high 90s oxygen saturation to make sure that you're functioning okay, anything lower than that you can start experiencing some serious health complications, and it's like usually that thing that they put on your finger. When you go to Urgent Care, the doctor doesn't hurt that Bad. It's still like what is this now there's good news and there's bad news with this. The good news is that we don't know for sure if it's going to be locked down to the Apple Watch Series 6 or, if potentially through a software update like watch OS 7 Apple could actually enable this over-the-air for all Apple Watch owners sent to the series 1 as they do technically have the capability to do.

This I believe Apple wanted to enable it. However, if you know anything about Apple I think that what they're going to be doing here is putting it on the newest watch as an incentive for you to upgrade. Now we can get into the ethics of this and talk about that all day. I'm just telling you from a business perspective, you got to have some incentive to upgrade, and I think that could be a pretty significant one. Following that we have an extension of the ECG functionality.

Again, it could come to all. Watches could also be reserved just for the series 6, but right now, if you have a heart rate from 100 to 120 bpm, it usually doesn't work just because it wasn't designed to function with heart rates that high, but now get this guy's. It's gonna work on heart rates. From a hundred to 200, 200 bpm, you got to be like a little bird out there, falafels now you're going to be able to measure from I guess whatever low heart rate, you may be at all the way up to 120 beats per minute with a conclusive reading, rather than something inconclusive, because I've actually tested this on some people before that. Maybe we're just recently doing an activity or maybe under a bit of hypertension or stress for the day.

It would fail pretty frequently now that should not be a case any longer. These are big health initiatives here, I think the blood oxygen saturation could be really fantastic. That's a big deal if it gets low and if your watch can actually notify you and say, hey dude, you know you're not looking so out here your brain. It's got about an hour left of oxygen before you kind of I mean this could save a lot of lives, and we've seen the fall. Detection we've seen the ECG so many stories of this actually saving human lives and that's a part of technology that I feel like doesn't get enough credit both of these features coming too soon as later this year, however, a little farther down the road I keep reporting on this one, because if Apple makes this breakthrough, it wouldn't change an entire industry, and that is people with diabetes or who need to measure their glucose non-invasive glucose monitoring.

It is a feat that nobody's really done to measure your blood glucose content. You have to prick a finger. You have to draw a little of blood, it's fine when you do it once it's fine when you get twice, but for people living with those critical conditions, it's really frustrating and even painful at times as the flip of what we want to get to which is non-invasive. This is quite invasive in its current state. Now, a couple of years ago, the New York Times broke the story that a poet has a secret lab, where they're working on all kinds of health features and a non-invasive glucose monitoring was one of them.

Now don't get me wrong guys, this new tack is pretty fresh, but that's only half the equation, the other half is you because you got to be looking fresh as well now, just to take a quick pause here. Look what's been conveniently sitting behind me. This whole time is that Dollar Shave Club? What that that sounds really, really cool I want to join the club. Our shave club is the number one-stop for all your grooming needs, whether they need something for the shower, whether you need something for your little underarms ease some deodorant when they get stinky, whether you need something for your oral appliances or, of course, to shave. Now you can tell, by the way that I looked at I'm somebody it likes to have a fun time.

That's why I start out with a nice prep scrub get the face all primed in the areas I want to shave, then I head over to the actual shave butter to make sure that razor gets a nice smooth, Glide and I. Don't get these darn razor bumps, and then I finish it off with the wonderful post shave. Do my favorite things the executive handle itself? It's got a good weight to it. Just feels like something worthy of going on your face, but those that even work I, don't know, take a look at this before and after I. Don't even recognize myself anymore after using Dollar, Shave, Club I, don't know what else to tell you other than this is one of the best deals that has ever existed.

You get all this for five dollars after that you're getting full-sized products that retail for full price, I'm gonna. Look you in the eye and tell you I love, Dollar Shave Club get started today. Five bucks, only dollarshaveclub. com Sonia every year, we're gonna, keep getting more and more health features and, as we get into the software, you'll see that as well as sleep tracking that is supposed to be coming. Finally, this year, again with sleep tracking, it could be for just the newest watcher in the software as well, but 9 to 5 max says it's coming and finally, now they saw very early indications of this last year to the point where we thought sleep tracking would be shipping with the Apple Watch Series.5 boos, it didn't I would be fascinated, though, to see my sleep data and see if I actually am sleeping as well as I. Think I am and see like a score or something or keep tracking on.

My stress does that affect my sleep when I'm on Twitter late at night, like does that have an impact? You know, I'm really curious about these things and Apple is said to be integrating that into the health app and also the Apple Watch with a sleep. Good news, though, is that the sleep tracking app does not come with the add-on of sleep apnea. What do they? Let me work alone. I still don't know. We also know the sleep tracking.

There is gonna, be a complication on the watch face. You could glance at it and potentially see a score or maybe would show you a cute little picture like a moon or something obviously can't wait to see this in action. Apple acquired a sleep tracking, Apple Watch company called bet. It there's no question. It's coming, and we've been hearing about this for a couple of years.

Now it's got to be this update. Apple is also integrating sleep goals here, so you can set a know, maybe measure for yourself how many hours you want or the number of times you don't want to be getting out during the night to hopefully boost that overall score. You can even like to share it with other people and be like this. Is why I'm so well-rested I, though I'm not a medical doctor, so we're not gonna keep talking about health for the rest of the duration. Here we're going to shift to some more fun stuff, like the ability in watch, OS 7 to share your watch faces with other people, hey bro, you, like my watch, face suit.

There to I just sent you my watch face, I, don't know if it's gonna work like that. I assume you'll be able to like text someone, and you'll be able to download each other's watch faces, but as people set, custom photos on their watch faces more on that in just a little, I spent some time customizing mine, and it would be cool if you see some buddies that you really enjoy that they could share their exact configuration and setup with you rather than having to say okay, which shade of blue was it and which complication. What was the name of that app? It could just put it on your device instantly, that'd be pretty sweet and, while we're on the topic of watch faces, let's talk about some new ones here. So first up as you can see on the screen behind me, I've been waiting to point to this. The entire video, as you know, I'm a big fan of pointing right in front of your eyes, is either a mock-up or an actual leaked image.

I'm not exactly sure here from 9 to 5 Mac of the new watch face titled international. We live in a society becoming more and more global on a daily basis, and if you want to celebrate that by looking at other countries, flags maybe see your own, and I'm sure. If it's gonna change every time, you lift your wrist. There might be an option for that or assembly being able to select your favorite country's flag and use it as a watch face. It's going to be a way to celebrate country pride around the world.

It's a fun little addition here that we do actually have a decent look at. The second watch face that we know about so far is called infographic row and for the first time ever on the Apple Watch, it's going to feature age, yeah, scimitar I'm not familiar with this, because I don't own a Rolex or anything more than an Apple Watch. So it's going to be a first time here for both of us now, I normally don't like to direct quote things, but just so we're both on the same page. Here it can be used to compute a speed based on travel time or measure distance based on speed, and so it's going to help. You determine the speed of something here's an image of what one looks like on a traditional watch: I, don't even want to know how much this cost, because it looks pretty pricey, but if you want that in digital form, Apple showed us in the past they like adding digital parts of the Apple Watch to the Apple Watch like the digital.

They literally call it the digital crown, rather than just the normal watch crown it's a way to put it on your watch and say: hey I, know: I still can't afford a three hundred thousand dollar watch, but I've got one of your features now I'm gaining quickly, every year, thanks to the Apple engineers, I, don't know this one's not really doing it for me, but there are some cooler other features coming still on the topic of watch faces. You know how you can use photos from your iPhone library as something on your Apple Watch. So whenever you raise your wrist, you can see a photo of your kid or your grandma or a flower or another iPhone, or maybe an Apple Watch within an Apple Watch Ronnie not on our watch faces here. You're going to be able to have shared watch, face, photo albums, I assume. If you just share an iCloud photo library with a group of people, you could all simply select that and then get a rotating photo.

Every time you raise your wrist you'd have a pic of all the kids on Easter or sometime during the holiday seasons like I personally, don't know why you'd want a group of kids on your watch I'm just throwing that out there. So really, the watch is playing catch-up here. A feature that we've had on the iPhone forever to share photo albums is now coming to watch faces with watch OS up next. An Apple Watch has not been the greatest for parental controls. It's been okay in Apple.

You know, with screens time on the iPhone they've continued to give more parents control year after year. These features can be huge if you wish to lock down what your children do. So, first, you'll be able to have like one parent iPhone and two three four children Apple Watch is not just linked to the phone, but also managed by the iPhone, so you'll be able to do something like enables school time, for example. So during the school day, for example, parents are able to limit what apps and complications their kid to use. Now, when I was younger back in the day, the early 2000s, we didn't have this, and it was fantastic dude.

You could have your iPod touch now. Parents, with the new update, will be able to lock down exactly what their kids are doing, which is better for the longevity of learning. It's just not the most fun out here. So congrats parents- you won this one, and I'm certainly going to be using these on my kid one day. If I have a kid.

Well, let's slow down here guys, take me out to dinner first, but on the real I, definitely see how these are useful and technology can be really dangerous for kids. At a young age, there's so much, you have access to now, so I think these controls are really beneficial. Next up inside a control center on the Apple Watch, you're going to be getting a couple of toggles with the watch. Os 7 update first with sleep tracking, a toggle to easily turn that, on or off on the fly, which is great I'm still waiting on that VPN toggle for the iPhone Apple. It's not here yet, and the next appears to be for really loud noise or sound detection, and to let your Apple Watch turn that feature on or off on.

The fly, for example, get a concert. You can just turn that off in control center. Instead of having to go on your iPhone and Apple Watch setting this noise detection, you could do it on or off on the fly, which is great I love having quick access to these quick toggles. And finally, we took a big step last year when Apple on watch OS 6 introduced the App Store, so you could actually download standalone applications rather than having to download them to an iPhone and then go as an extension to your Apple Watch, and even though that change occurred, it's actually make Apple Watch apps. You still had to build them technically as extensions of normal apps for the iPhone, with the new update they are going to be built on their own footing.

This time, they're not going to be an extension or means to an iPhone app in any way. Unless you want them to be. Is this leading to a future where one day you don't need an iPhone at all and all your data and your stuff and your cards' similarity if Apple Pay on here is on your wrist. Only we don't know, of course, but Apple is certainly taking some measures to at least make that a possibility anyway, guys. That's all the news we got today on the Apple Watch Series 6 and watch OS 7.

If you haven't already go, show Dollar Shave Club, some love over a Dollar Shave Club, calm, slash, I, update I'll, keep you in the loop of any other rumors for the Apple Watch Series 6 come out, so drop a like if you enjoyed watching this one and hit subscribe, so you always stay up to date on the way to stop on these. That is all for me. Hope you guys are doing well stay safe out there, and I'll talk to you in my next video.
