My HTC U11 Review (2 Months Later)

Everyone on destroy newsreel here and I wanted to do a quick two-month review on the HTC. U 11 and how well it's held up. I have been getting updates from HTC, so the software updates have still a 7.1.1 because they left latest, but they've been pushing our security updates not as regularly as I would like, but they have been pushing out updates. One of my favorite things about the HTC, though, has been his PC performance. My goodness, it's awesome, and the camera has been such a good performer, which I'll show some pictures in a slideshow right here. So you can see the performance of this camera and I have been enjoying it greatly.

I do miss my Samsung Galaxy S7 edge camera, because I do prefer the color saturation on it over the darker tones of the HTC and just because I got used to it on the Samsung. However, the HTC picture quality is still just as excellent or maybe just slightly better than the Samsung. But one of the downsides is that I, don't like the shutter speed on the HTC u11, where there's a something that's a bit of a lag, and even though my Samsung has been aging like awfully, the camera still performs. Amazingly quick, so overall I keep using the BlackBerry services suite on any Android device that I use it, what they all look alike, and they the same, so really it comes down to the experience in terms of raw performance as to how well it holds up to up the in terms of battery and software terminations and, of course, how do I like the hardware, what I do love the design? Don't get me wrong. The problem is it's a thing too big.

The screen is slightly smaller than the s7 edge, but it is the body, is overall big right now. I do love this glass amazing silver design. They have back here, liquid display or whatever it is. They call it, but I do not like the fingerprint aside. Okay, that's like that's a given, but I, don't like it! How slippery this thing is whenever I'm sitting in the pew at a church or just in a car or whatever this thing, just slips and slides, even when the car is not moving just because well, it's glass! So that's why I use a sign cover which I'm going to leave a link ? description below, so you can check out these things and I.

Don't use the bumper, the CPU, bumpers style anymore, because it's just so hard to come up now. Now it doesn't have much of a camera hump which I like about it, and it's been. The screen has held up very well I, don't have a scoop of that there on it and I sometimes carry it with keys and coins and such and there are no scratches and even micro, scratches on it. So I've been pretty impressed with the Gorilla Glass 5 on this one, because you recall there was some controversy over the Gorilla Glass 5 on the note 7. But this one's held up pretty well I turn I do use the edge features, I one squeeze launches myself and help to squeeze.

This should launch my flashlight because I actually use it a lot, so I don't want to actually trigger it, so I can use it. The battery I used to have to wear a launch of the camera, but then I forgot or remembered that double press on the power button and then, when you get into the camera, so okay, all the features are there and of course, when I want to launch Google Voice, all I got to do is press and hold the home button, even though it's not capacitive to launch Google Voice and yes, I do have Alexa, and I'm trying to get used to using Alexa, even though I do use a lot of Amazon services, but so far it's been interesting. It's hit or miss for me, but I don't really use it all that much, so I can't really say if it's a great service or not, but I can tell you that some friends of mine are very jealous that I have a Lea because they have echo devices and dot devices, and such now I would have been a lot happier with this device. Had something not happened recently, because, just over a week ago, HTC released this version, the United States, for order where you can get the six gigabyte version with 128 gigabytes built-in storage and includes the expandable memory, which is over here, so I actually took a hit I'm. Sorry, it's apricot with the SIM tray.

Now other devices like the HTC 10, have it on the side, but anyway, I am disappointed by that because they even discounted the device, and now I'm like. Ah that's, definitely future proofing the device. Yes I, don't use the 64 gigabytes of built-in storage, but the four gigs I am a gigabyte I'm a ramp hog. So six gigabytes on this, which is considered the fastest Android on the market. Right now, would be the most incredible Android device and future-proof experience ever, but unfortunately, now I'm out of the return window and I cannot get that one NHC Celia not announced that they were going to release it here in the States.

So that does bum me out, but overall I definitely have gotten used to this device. Is this is the first time and I have to get used to a flasher to like it, normally I loved it at first touched, but the software experience of side, because that's awesome I just had to get used to the hardware on this one just because I've been with Samsung for at least two years and I had to reprogram my memory. My muscle memory with the back and the Menu button and I just I have grown to really love this device, especially when, when I'm watching movies and such that this thing is just blowing off years, which is really, really awesome. Now Court I do mister headphone jack, because I cannot use my audio Technical's without that plug-in into the USB port, but yeah I get by. But of course, the audio output through the headphone jack is way better on the HTC 10 that I have so yeah, but this is the guy that drives me to hopefully at least another year at least it better last longer than most of other devices.

So this is the flash of the guitar me through this year, I'm not looking forward to any other flagship. If anything just upgrade this get to the six gigabyte version, I'll be very happy with that, and it's water-resistant too. So that's nothing else got going for it. So yeah anyway do I recommendation, see you 11 I, definitely recommend you check it out, but if you're waiting for an iPhone or the, if you're, waiting for the iPhone 8 or the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 we'll get ready to shell out a thousand bucks, this one is 650. This thing is worth every penny.

I definitely agree with that, and I got it at a discount. So if you're able to get this one with 6 gigabytes at 128 gigabytes, built-in storage go for it, you will not be disappointed fastest, Android experiences outside stock experience and some you an argued fashion. The pixel. This thing is definitely one that you should consider. If that's one of your biggest concerns and of course HIT is an excellent tracker with updating the devices on like Samsung.

So just bear that in mind, so that does it for this video thanks. So much for watching guys like share subscribe, stay tuned, oh and hey I wrote a book. So I'm leaving the links in the video description down below you can order the Kindle you can order the print version. It's a romantic comedy I'm, so excited to be sharing the story, and it's the first of three books. So there's going to be another one, hopefully released next year round the same time and then the other one.

Two years from now. So we'll see how that goes. But thanks so much for watching and following, and I'll see you guys in the next video.
