Motorola Edge + Flagship Android Unboxing & Overview

Hi there this is Faith and in this video let's do the unboxing and have a first look at this Motorola H plus- and this is a flagship, Android phones by Motorola and guys, if you recall this is the flagship man. I Motorola after about almost three years, almost for 2016 was their last flagship and again this one runs on the snapdragon 865 SOC, and it's very strange that in India they have launched it well gigabyte ram variant that comes with 256 gigabytes of storage. So it's the higher-end variant that is coming, and the retail price is about 75,000, but you can get about seven thousand five hundred rupees instant discount I'll talk about the pricing later on, but let's see the phone itself and have a look it's supposed to have one of the most powerful stereo speakers in the industry. It claims. So let's have a look, and here is the device itself and let's just take this out. Let me just peel this off.

So here is the device itself and has that curved edges, and if this is what this is, nothing so must be some people work and stuff. It says Motorola edge, we mean guide, gives you basic idea about this stuff. The back camera is supposed to have a 108 megapixel. We have a sim ejector tool, and we have a plastic case. Also.

This is flexible plastic case that we are getting on. Other devices also have a cutout for the camera at the back. So this is how it looks. I'll just keep this to the side, and we also get headset in the box. That's nice, so you're getting a headset with some extra ear tips, and these are in here and also have a Motorola branding over here.

And what do you see over here? You have a button to take or and cause again with more full operating so nice to see that we are getting at least this one in the box. This extra tips also I'll just keep there, and this will be the USB type-c, cable and again, this is the 18. What fast charger that is bundled also. This smartphone claims to have even a valid strategy and even reverse than discharging like most flagships these days, and if you look at it actually, the aspect ratio is very different. It feels narrow.

So that's why it is very comfortable to hold in your hand and, as you can see, I can reach this step. So that's interesting and on the top, if we go, we have a 3.5 mm headphone jack. This is a rarity these days, but we have the 3.5 mm headphone jack, and here we have the volume rocker and the power on/off button, as here at the bottom, what we went for the speaker's the type C port main microphone over here and the century is also over here and let's just take this out, and it's a. What do you say? Do you nanoohm over here as you can see? So let me just put this back, and here we have nothing back, is an interesting setup again like most modern smartphone, this again, a camera centric smartphone. The main camera is a hundred and eight megapixel, which is also having is then we also have eight megapixels.

That's actually a proper zoom, that's a 3x optical zoom. This also has a wire. Then we have a 16 megapixel ultra-wide and time-of-flight for depth. We have a Motorola logo over here and this is sort of a fingerprint magnet the best to use with a case and looks like we also have a secondary microphone over here and one more microphone over here. So noise cancellation and video recording should be good, at least in the audio department and the front.

We have a punch, hole, type of knot for the 24 megapixel, and I'm, just booting it up guys and by the time I put it up, and I set it up here as a configuration or view this Motorola H Plus is having a six point: seven inch Super AMOLED screen: that's a Full HD plus 90 Hertz screen predicted by Gorilla Glass, five, it's fired by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, and it's fifty compatible comes with 12 gigabytes of RAM and 256 gigabytes of storage. With this you fs3 going to a camera, we have a quad camera set up. The main camera is 108 megapixels. Then we have an 8 megapixel. That's a 3x zoom.

Then we have a 16 megapixel ultra-wide and time-of-flight for 3d depth. Front-Facing camera is a twenty-five megapixels. We also have wireless charging, 15 watt and even RAM is charging and at five thousand William hour battery, so guys I've just set up this smartphone, and the first thing I noticed is that, though this is having that big screen six point, seven-inch screen, it does not feel very bulky, and in fact this is the h20 plus that I have, and a fact layered side-by-side. If you'll notice in the width, the s20 plus has more width on this one. So definitely when I'm holding the phone in one hand, this feels more comfortable.

That's because of those rounded edges that we have and again as it's a Motorola phone guys almost talk, Android experiences that you are getting apart from some this MTA Motorola specific apps. That's this motor app, and again you have stuff like motor actions and stuff useful stuff. For example, we have this fast flashlight and quick capture, for example, if you use a Motorola phones, the same thing, if you do this double chop, the flashlight opens- and if you just do this double twist, the camera actually opens so useful stuff, I would say no bloatware, and this is supposed to have very louder speaker, one of the loudest stereo speakers in the industry. They claim- and let's try, that let's try my own YouTube video, you keep premium, it's a snow ready now guys definitely actually louder than most of the smartphones that have a stereo speaker. So again, I will test it more you'll have a good experience, but I really like the fact that, though this is having that five thousand William hour battery, it feels sleek in the hand they have managed to put that 3.5 mm headphone jack, even though it has that four five thousand William hour battery, so I, really like the fact that we have the 3.5 mm headphone jack I'll test that a little more now talking about the 18. This is actually almost 90 degrees over here and in fact, when you're playing games and stuff, you can have virtual triggers over here, and you also have some options.

For example, you can have a quick app over. You can set it up what you want for swiping in and all those things, and if you notice the here, I have a button. I'll just press that- and this notice closely now the text is almost falling towards the edges, so give you a very immersive feel. But if you don't want that, you can just Doubleday over here, and it will resize this one, and also it has edge lighting, for example, if I just switch it off like this, and I kept it keep it like this. Let me see if that camera will become a press it once it, actually.

Glows camera is not able to capture I'll move to a different angle and show you to show you the edge lighting. As you can see, it's like here, I mean if you press the power button once this actually shows you the battery percentage right now, it's approximately at about 80%. So you can just quickly get an idea about this one, and also it works for calls and stuff. For example. Let me just make a call now to this one, this number and, as you can see, so that's how it glows so again some cool effects with edge lighting under the hood.

If you notice almost stock Android experiences that you are getting and if I go towards this settings over here again, as you can see, almost talked experience that you are getting and the thing is that in terms of display, you can go up to what do you say, 90 Hertz, on this one, as you can see, 90 you can go I'll just send it to 60 Hertz because of my camera, but that's what, and I'm using the full gesture mode again like pixel devices. So you just do this for going to the back and this for your multitasking frame and because of the snapdragon 865 again very, very fluid, and I'm still surprised that they're giving the 12 gigabytes of RAM so again, even for heavy multitasking and stuff. It should be fine again. It feels so fluid when I'm using this one. You have the edge screens over here, and it will take a little while to get used to the same, and if you look at about the device, as you can see out of the box, it comes with Android 10.

So you don't have to worry about that and let me just look at the storage, how much storage is left and out of that 256 gigabyte, 237 gigabytes of space will be available to you. So that's also nice, but again, I feel they should have also launched the 8 gigabyte, RAM variant, 128 gigabytes that could have been at a lower price. But again we are getting this as you can see. And again this is almost talk, experience that you are getting and let's also now test the in display fingerprint scanner, because it's an AMOLED screen. We have that and here the Motor display and as you can see, it works very well again.

This is that legendary motor display and the in display fingerprints kind of works very well and with this motor display, if you just you, get to know what notifications are there etc. , and if you have used any earlier Motorola device, you know how useful that can be, and I like the screen quality. Also, it looks actually good and until the brightness also looks like it can go very bright. As you can see, it's a con crazy bright, but you get a hang so looks like nice, and I will definitely test out the 3.5 mm headphone jack, because that's no sort of reality on Android smartphones. Let's also now look at the camera, because this has that 108 megapixel camera.

If you look at it over here, the main three cameras. The first is that 108 megapixel with optical image stabilization. Then we have a 3x proper zoom camera, that's 8 megapixels. This also has a wire, so you can zoom in, and then we have a 16 megapixel, that's actually ultra-wide and in fact, with this camera Motorola claims that they can also do that. Close-Up macrophotography and this fourth one is actually that time-of-flight for 3d stuff front-facing this that punch on launch 25 megapixels.

So let's open this up and right away, it gives you an idea about the various modes that we have portrait, cutout, macro night vision and all these things and let's just go back to the default- and here it is sadistic as to go to the macro mode, and here from here you can go to that 3x zoom. In again it's as its optical guys, it's asking me to set up notice how fast it is- and this is the ultra-wide so again because of the star bragging 865. The processing is very, very fast, as you can see here that background, blur and stuff, and you can adjust the exposure from here again. Very quick and here are your different modes. You can definitely go.

Let's go to the macro I'm curious to see, let's, if I go to the macro, let's just go close up to this and, as you can see how close I am able to go, so definitely the macro stuff is also interesting. We have that. Then we have the portrait mode and all these things again I need a human subject, but yeah as you can see it, the background blur. If you notice and the background you are able to see, but I'll test it a little more. So you have all these modes and let's look at the front-facing camera now.

This is the front facing camera and looks like the portrait mode face. Beauty mode. Is there and now just shut that off? So you have that, and you have the timer and other modes also for the front-facing camera. What is this so auto and manual even have a manual mode for the front-facing camera and video I believe the rear facing can shoot up to 6 K. So let me do one thing: let me actually take some samples with this one so that you have a better idea regarding the camera, so these are some outdoor shots taken with the motor, h, plus and notice the colors, the colors are perfect, and this wasn't that wide-angle lens again notice these shots that look so natural and beautiful I, really like the color reproduction.

Even in the wide-angle board, it's not stretched. This was taken in the wide-angle mode. This was taken in the regular mode, and this is that 3x zoom it really zooms in, and these are again some more samples that I took, and I didn't notice. The color reproduction and the natural background blur that I'm getting this was taken in the wide-angle lens. This was in the regular mode, and this was in the portrait mode and here I finally used the 3x zoom option, one more example of regular mode, and here I enable the portrait mode, and here it was that wide angle lens, and these were taken with the front facing camera and front-facing.

Camera produces some very good results. Even with the portrait background blurred mode. As you can see now, I went to some of the indoor shots that were taken in completely artificial lighting in my office. Again, as you can see here also, we got some very good results. We get the natural background, both blur very easily, with this one I'm going to subject.

This was taken at the right angle board. This was taken in the regular mode and here I used the portrait model, one more example. This was taken in the regular mode, and this was taken in the portrait bouquet mode tilting this video with the Motorola h plus, and the audio is also being recorded. Why the same and as you can see, guys I'm just walking around so that you get an idea. How was the video recording and audio recording with the front-facing camera of this Motorola edge+ so guys? That's it for now, for the unboxing of this Motorola edge, plus, and certainly an interesting device and I would say in India we some of the other alternatives that we have for Android smartphone.

The flagship segment would be the Samson. So what do you say? The ultra that has 108 megapixel camera, but again the problem with the Galaxy S 20 series right now in India, is that they don't cover the snapdragon 865 a crab with the Enos SOC, and also that 3.5 mm headphone jack is missing. Then I feel we also have 2 1 + 8 Pro Series. That can also be interesting. But again that does not have that 108, megapixel, camera and I feel the camera might be more versatile on this one, but I also feel why these other flagships miss on that 3.5 mm headphone jack, but again nevertheless, I would say if you are a sort of Android user, and I'm looking for flagship Android phone now, certainly we have lot more choices available in India coming down to the pricing. The MRP of this one is 75,000, but again, I was checking flip card, and they have instant discount of 7500.

So it's directly about 60, 7,500 and guys remember that in India of strangely we are getting the higher-end variant that comes with 1280 bytes of RAM and 256 gigabytes of storage, whereas most of the other vendors are still giving ADR bytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of storage in their base variant. So again you have to decide if it's right for you or not I, don't want to give a verdict as of now but certainly an interesting product. Regarding the speakers they I felt it was very loud cameras. Initial impressions look to be interesting, but I definitely test this out. For a week or two most, my full in-depth review, if you have any specific questions about this device, do post your questions and the YouTube comment section below, and I'll try to include them in my review.
